Chapter 19 #2
“What the fuck was that?” I barked, taking three big steps over to where they threw the shirt.
“It’s just a shirt!” Fallon screeched trying to block me from getting the shirt.
I didn’t know what the fuck she was trying to hide but she had me fucked up.
I didn’t even know what she was trying to hide but I was getting mad as fucking thinking about all the crazy shit it could have been.
The first thing that came to mind was she had another nigga in my house.
On my mama I was gonna fuck her up if she did and not because I was jealous.
It was the fucking respect. Having a nigga in the house I paid bills in wasn’t finna fly with me.
Shit if she wanted to be with another nigga all she had to do was say that shit.
I’d let her move on without a problem, but she wasn’t finna be sneaking and geeking while she called herself being with me.
I easily moved her outta my way, picking up the shirt, I frowned.
Two things stuck out to me about this shirt.
One It was a Black and blue mechanic style shirt, that clearly belonged to a nigga and the Brothers Tow logo on the back.
Mikael had told me about the bitch ass niggas that were going around tryna be like us.
They weren’t the first to try to compete with us.
Hella muthafuckas tried to copy us, it came with the territory of being the best. I will say these niggas were a lot more blatant with their copying.
They made their shit look just enough like ours to confuse people.
Mikael and I decided to keep watching the niggas and not make a big deal outta the shit.
Mainly because muthafuckas weren’t even open yet.
For all we knew they might never open up.
However, finding one of their shirts in my house had me ready to show my Black ass. I liked to think Fallon wasn’t dumb enough to go against the grain, but I would never put nothing past a soul.
“Let me explain!” Fallon quickly said, throwing her hands up. “Before you get to tripping that’s Maverick’s shirt. Look on the front.” She urged me and I listened.
Turning the shirt around sure enough Maverick was stitched in blue.
Throwing the shirt on the ground I shook my head.
Leave it to a bitch ass nigga to be on some bullshit.
Maverick is Fallon’s younger brother. He was actually my age, but he had no hustle about him.
They mama babied his ho ass, and it showed.
Fallon begged me to give him a job years ago and the nigga didn’t even make it through training before I fired his ass.
He wanted to come in late, smoke weed on the clock, the nigga even showed up to work drunk.
I let him go that day. He didn’t want to work forreal and I wasn’t about to fuck my business up.
“So, he wanna be an Opp now?” I chuckled. I really thought this shit was funny. If that company was letting Maverick work for them I knew that shit wouldn’t be open for long.
“I told him that what he was doing isn’t okay. We got into a big argument, and he stormed out of here. He knows I don’t play about you.” Fallon softly said as she batted her eyes at me.
“Yeah, I hear you.” I said nonchalantly I didn’t want to give away how I was really feeling.
I felt like there was more Fallon wasn’t telling me.
She was close with Maverick. For some reason, their entire family babied him, and it was weird as fuck.
Maverick and Fallon had different dads; he came from an affair that their mama had.
From what I understand Fallon’s dad felt responsible for the affair, so he took on the responsibility of raising Maverick.
Couldn’t have been my wife or not that ho would have been on the streets with her bastard baby.
Fallon’s dad babied Maverick too. I didn’t understand what they had going on and I didn’t want to either.
Fast food it is then. I made my way out the kitchen going towards the front door.

The Following Day
“Put me dowwwn!” Solana screeched as childishly threw her over my shoulder spinning her around.
I pulled up back at the shop right after she’d put Sunshyne on the bus.
All day Solana had been talking shit about me standing her up the night before.
I knew she was just picking and talking shit.
I went along with her fake mad act groveling and shit.
I let her get her way for the day and brought her the high ass steak she swore she wanted for lunch.
Her ass only ate a few bites, but I didn’t give a fuck she was smiling and that was what mattered to me.
I had to leave the office to go do a repo.
Solana ended up on the phone with me the entire time running her mouth cause I wasn’t in front of her no more.
She went took her shit talkin’ too far when she swore she had a nigga over.
When I told her ass to take that shit back she just laughed in my ear like I was playing.
I was dead ass serious; Solana wasn’t dating no niggas.
Mikael was the only nigga I would be cool with her being cordial with and he even had a limit.
Forreal I was the only nigga she needed to call her friend.
All them other niggas, Mikael included, could play in traffic.
As long as Solana had me she didn’t need nobody else.
“Nah, talk that shit now,” I said, taunting her.
“I’m sorrryyy Marloooo,” Solana whined in a voice that made my dick start to come to life. I was aware she wasn’t tryna be sexy but the way she called my name made me want to do whatever it took to hear her call my name like that over and over.
“Keep sayin’ my name like that Solana,” I warned her lightly chuckling. I was playing but I wasn’t playing at the same time.
“I won’t have to say your name if you put me down,” She said, blowing out a breath still acting mad but we both knew she liked this shit.
“Shut up, you like being in my arms.
“Boooy, bye,” Solana waved me off once I sat her back on her feet in front of me. I couldn’t help but look down into her pretty brown eyes and get lost.
If you held a gun to my head I wouldn’t be able to explain the pull I felt towards Solana to save my life.
All I knew was I had to be here for her no matter what.
My peace wasn’t the same when we weren’t together.
Aside from my brother I felt like Solana was the only other person I could really be myself around.
She was my best friend, and it was crazy how easy it was for me to talk to her.
I’d pretty much told her everything about me.
What I loved was Solana didn’t hold back on me.
She had no problems calling me out when I was in the wrong.
She kept it real with me and that made my respect for her grow.
Solana was perfect in my eyes; nobody could compare to her.
I was going to make sure she got everything she desired and then some.
“Stop playin’ like you don't want to be in my arms,” I smirked at her, still caught in her intoxicating gaze.
“And don’t. You just be wanting a reason to be all over me,” Solana stared back at me for a few seconds before she broke our gaze looking off to the side. “I can’t wait to get off tonight. I’m so tired.” Solana sighed, stepping back and stretching her arms and body out.
I could stop myself from looking at Solana as her body contoured in her fitted light blue two piece straight legged pants suit with a white Cami style shirt tucked in her pants and a pair of clear chunky heels.
Solana wore clothes that fit her body, but she didn’t overdo it with extra tight clothes.
Her pants were tight enough to accent her curves but leave something to the imagination.
Her titties sat up pretty in her shirt, giving the right amount of cleavage.
Starin’ at her had a nigga feeling thirsty as fuck.
I kept getting visions of me with a mouth full of her titties and a hand full of her ass.
I bit my lip thinking about how soft she probably felt.
“Earth to Marlo,” Solana said, snapping her fingers in my face bringing me out of my dirty fantasy. “What the hell were you thinking about? You was biting your bottom lips looking crazy.” She looked at me we a screw face.
“You don’t…”
“Excuse me I’m looking for Solana Thomas,” We both were caught off guard by a female in khaki pants, a white button up, her hair in a tight bun, and a pair of heels…
I think. The heels on her shoes were so small it looked like the fake heels Mallory wore when she played dress up.
Her face was bawled up in disgust as she looked at the both of us.
“That’s me,” Solana stepped back from me and turned towards the broad.
“I’m Dallas, the case worker overseeing the case with Sunshyne McKenny.” I wasn’t feeling the vibe from this Dallas bitch. She had her face screwed up and her tone was snobbish.
“Okay, I’m not sure why child services was called on me, but I can assure you Sunshyne is well taken care of.”
“Says every parent who doesn’t want their child taken away from them. I’m not here to go based off your words. I’m here to see proof that Sunshyne is being properly taken care of. The claims we received were very serious.”
“Dallas, I’m sure you’re doing your job and I’m more than positive that you’ve come across many people who don't take care of their children but as I said before this isn’t one of those cases.
Sunshyne has everything she needs and then some.
” I could tell Solana was pissed but she was keeping her composure together.
