Kage
The drive back from LA had been long and grating. We’d spent the entire day dealing with our legal team, working through the mess that came with pushing back the tour. Parker handled most of it, his patience levels way higher than mine or Zeph’s, but even he was getting worn down by the endless back-and-forth. Now, though, as we weaved through the winding roads up into the San Gabriel Mountains, all I could think about was Phoenix.
I’d spent the entire day away from her, and it was driving me insane. I hadn’t realized how much being around her had become a necessity until we were separated for a few hours. The constant tug in my chest, the need to see her, was something I couldn’t shake. She was finally starting to open up, and the thought of her retreating back into herself without us there to support her gnawed at me.
The sun was dipping below the mountains as we pulled up to the house, the warm glow casting long shadows across the driveway. Parker parked the car, and Zeph was out of the passenger seat before the engine even fully cut off. I followed quickly, the need to see Phoenix overtaking any exhaustion that had settled into my bones from the day.
The front door creaked as we pushed it open, but instead of the quiet house we expected, music spilled into the entryway—upbeat, fun, and totally out of place for what I’d imagined would be a quiet night.
Zeph shot me a look, his brow raised in curiosity, and we stepped inside, making our way toward the sound. It didn’t take long to find the source.
There, in the living room, were Phoenix and Charlotte, dancing around like they didn’t have a care in the world. Both of them were in their pajamas, hair a mess, giggling as they spun around to some pop song. They hadn’t noticed us yet, completely caught up in their own little world.
I couldn’t help but smile. The sight of Phoenix like that—so carefree, so alive—did something to my chest. The past few weeks had been hard on her, hard on all of us, and seeing her let loose, even for a moment, felt like a win. It was a side of her we hadn’t seen in a long time.
Zeph nudged my shoulder, grinning like an idiot. “You seeing this?”
I chuckled under my breath. “Yeah, I’m seeing it.”
Just as the song was coming to an end, they finally caught sight of us standing in the doorway. Phoenix froze mid-twirl, her eyes widening with surprise. Her face flushed, embarrassment creeping up her neck as she realized we’d been watching them.
Charlotte, though, wasn’t fazed in the slightest. She threw her hands up in mock surrender, grinning as she looked between Phoenix and us. “We didn’t think you’d be home for a while,”
Phoenix stammered, clearly caught off guard.
I smirked, crossing my arms over my chest. “Yeah, we can see that.”
Before Phoenix could say anything else, Charlotte pointed a finger at us, narrowing her eyes in playful warning. “No stealing her! We’re having a girls’ night.”
Then, with a laugh, she darted out of the room, muttering something about making popcorn.
Phoenix stood there, shifting on her feet, her face still flushed. She looked shy—uncharacteristically so—like we’d caught her in some secret she wasn’t ready to share. It was… endearing, really.
I stepped forward, closing the space between us. “You don’t need to be embarrassed,”
I said softly, catching her gaze. “I’m proud of you, Phoenix.”
She blinked, her brow furrowing slightly. “For… dancing?”
“For everything,”
I clarified, my voice gentle. “For how far you’ve come. For letting yourself have fun again. For letting yourself breathe.”
I saw the uncertainty flicker in her eyes, the doubt that she still carried despite everything. But I wasn’t about to let her retreat into that. Not after how much progress she’d made. “You’re stronger than you realize,”
I continued. “And I’m damn proud of you for that.”
Zeph joined us then, standing just behind me, his presence solid and unwavering. “He’s right,”
he said, his voice low but full of that quiet confidence that always seemed to calm the room. “You’ve been through hell, Phoenix. And you’re still standing.”
I watched as her expression softened, the tension in her shoulders easing slightly. She let out a small, almost nervous laugh. “I guess it’s just… weird. Being seen like this.”
Parker, who had been watching from the doorway, finally chimed in, his voice smooth as ever. “You deserve to be seen, Phoenix. Not just as someone who’s recovering, but as you. The real you.”
Her eyes flicked between the three of us, and I could see the vulnerability there, the fear of not being enough. But I also saw something else—hope. The smallest glimmer of it, but it was there.
“You’re pack,”
I reminded her, my voice steady. “And we’re not going anywhere.”
For a moment, there was silence. Then, slowly, a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips. “Thank you,”
she whispered, her voice barely audible but full of emotion.
Charlotte’s voice rang out from the kitchen. “I’m serious! No stealing her, Kage! We’ve got a whole night planned!”
I chuckled, stepping back slightly but keeping my gaze on Phoenix. “Alright, alright. We’ll give you your girls’ night. But don’t think this conversation’s over.”
Phoenix rolled her eyes playfully, but there was warmth there now, something lighter in her expression. “Deal,”
she said softly, before turning back toward Charlotte’s voice, ready to continue her night.
As I watched her walk away, a sense of pride and relief settled in my chest. She was healing, slowly but surely.

The credits from the second movie were just starting to roll when Charlotte yawned and stretched, signaling the end of her night. “Alright, I’m calling it. I’m wiped out,”
she said, getting up from the couch. “You can stay up all you want, but I need sleep.”
Phoenix smiled up at her. “Thanks for tonight, Charlotte. It was fun.”
Charlotte gave her a wink, then started for the hallway. Before disappearing, she turned back with a teasing grin. “Don’t let those Alphas take over too soon,”
she called out, a mischievous glint in her eyes. “You deserve to have a girls’ night without them barging in.”
Phoenix laughed softly, shaking her head as Charlotte disappeared down the hallway. Left alone, she lingered on the couch for a moment, staring at the TV but clearly deep in thought. It had been a while since I’d seen her that relaxed, that free.
I’d been standing just outside the living room, lingering in the shadows with Parker. We hadn’t wanted to interrupt her night with Charlotte, but now that the house was quiet, it felt like the right moment to step in.
I glanced at Parker, who met my eyes with a smirk. “I think it’s our turn now,”
he said, his voice low.
We stepped into the room, and Phoenix’s head snapped up at the sound of our footsteps. “I thought you guys went to bed,”
she said, sitting up a little straighter on the couch.
“Nah, we didn’t want to interrupt girl time,”
I admitted, walking over to her.
Parker flopped down next to her, his arm draping casually along the back of the couch as if he’d always been there. “Yeah, Charlotte threatened to put a pink sock in with our laundry.”
Phoenix smiled, her cheeks flushing slightly. “Well, she just went to bed, so I guess it’s safe for you two to join.”
I took the seat next to her, settling in as the remnants of the movie played on the screen. The energy in the room shifted with us there, and I could feel the subtle tension hanging in the air. Phoenix, despite her earlier ease, now seemed a little more reserved, though not in a bad way. It was more like she was trying to process the transition from girls’ night to being with the two of us.
Parker, of course, broke the silence first. “So,”
he said, his voice smooth as ever. “You up for one more?”
There was a teasing edge to his words, and I knew he wasn’t just talking about another movie. Phoenix met his gaze, and I could see the flicker of something in her eyes—playfulness mixed with uncertainty.
“I could watch another,”
she said, but her tone was playful, as if she knew what he was really asking. Her lips curved into a smile as she shifted on the couch, moving a little closer to him. The tension between them had been simmering all week, and I’d been watching it unfold like some kind of slow-motion train wreck.
Not that I minded. In fact, part of me was itching to see where this would go.
We put on another movie, but I barely paid attention to it. My focus was split between Parker, Phoenix, and the way her body language had started to shift. I saw it happen just before she did. The way her eyes lingered on Parker’s mouth, the subtle way she licked her lips, and then, just like that, she made her move.
Phoenix slid from her seat and straddled Parker’s lap in one smooth motion, her knees on either side of his thighs, her hands resting on his shoulders. Parker’s eyebrows shot up in surprise, but his grin quickly followed, wide and full of appreciation for her boldness.
“Well, hello there,”
he murmured, his hands settling on her waist, steady but not pushing for more than she was ready for.
Her lips quirked as she leaned down, closing the distance between them. It was slow at first, a gentle press of her mouth to his, but it quickly grew more heated, her fingers tangling in his hair as she deepened the kiss.
I felt the shift in the room, the heat that seemed to rise off them as they lost themselves in each other. I swallowed hard, a mix of emotions pulling at me—arousal, pride, and the odd sense that maybe I should give them some space.
I pushed myself up out of the armchair, my movement quiet, but as soon as I did, Phoenix pulled away from Parker and turned to me, her voice soft but insistent.
“Kage, wait,”
she said, her eyes locking onto mine. “Stay.”
I froze, halfway to my feet, her words making my pulse jump in a way I hadn’t expected. I searched her face, looking for any sign of hesitation, but all I saw was sincerity. She didn’t want me to leave.
Parker, still holding her, glanced between us with a knowing look. “You heard her,”
he said, his grin widening. “Stay.”
A part of me wanted to argue, to give them their space, but another part—one that was growing louder by the second—wanted to see how this played out. So, I sank back down into the armchair, my body still humming with the tension that was building between the three of us.
Phoenix smiled at me, a little shy but full of something deeper, something more vulnerable. She shifted her focus back to Parker, leaning in again to capture his lips with hers, but this time, she made sure I was watching.
And I was. God, was I watching.
Parker’s hands roamed up and down her back, not pushing her but guiding her, giving her control. The way they moved together, the ease with which she responded to him—it stirred something primal in me. I couldn’t take my eyes off her, off the way her body fit so perfectly with his, the way her breath hitched every time he kissed her a little deeper.
But it wasn’t just the physical that had me captivated. It was the change in Phoenix, the way her confidence had grown since we brought her here. She wasn’t that broken girl we’d found spiraling in Atlanta. She was stronger now, more sure of herself, and seeing her take what she wanted like this was the most beautiful thing I’d ever witnessed.
After a few moments, she broke the kiss, her forehead resting against Parker’s as she caught her breath. Her eyes flickered toward me again, and I felt the intensity of her gaze in my chest.
She didn’t say anything, but she didn’t need to. There was something in the way she looked at me, something unspoken but understood. She wasn’t just inviting me to stay; she was inviting me to be a part of this moment, to share in it.
I felt my breath catch as the weight of that realization settled over me. This wasn’t just about lust or attraction—though that was definitely there. This was about trust. About her feeling safe enough to let her guard down with both of us, to let us in.
Parker must have felt it too, because he leaned back slightly, giving Phoenix a soft kiss on the forehead before glancing at me. “You good over there?”
he asked, his voice teasing but with a serious undertone.
I nodded, my throat tight with emotion I didn’t fully understand. “Yeah,”
I managed to say, my voice rougher than I intended. “I’m good.”
Phoenix smiled again, softer this time, and I felt my chest tighten. This was a step forward for her, for all of us, and I wasn’t about to ruin it by walking away.
So I stayed. I stayed, and I watched, and I let myself be a part of this—whatever it was that we were building together.
I couldn’t tear my eyes away. The way Phoenix moved, the way she commanded the room, was intoxicating. She wasn’t just beautiful—she was powerful. Every gesture, every glance, carried a magnetic energy that drew you in, and tonight, she was the center of my universe. Parker was already under her spell, his body leaning into hers as she straddled him on the couch, their chemistry crackling in the air.
I sat in the armchair across from them, my heart pounding in my chest. I wasn’t just watching; I was part of this. Phoenix’s gaze flicked to me as her fingers traced the line of Parker’s jaw. “Kage,”
she said, her voice low and sultry, “don’t think you’re getting out of this.”
I swallowed hard, my body responding before my mind could catch up. Parker chuckled, his hands resting on Phoenix’s hips as she shifted, her curves pressing into him. She was in control, and both of us knew it.
Phoenix’s lips brushed against Parker’s ear, and I could hear her murmur something that made him shudder. Her hands slid down his chest, undoing the buttons of his shirt with practiced ease. Every movement was deliberate, designed to tease and tantalize. Parker’s breath hitched as she leaned in, her lips grazing his collarbone, her tongue flicking out to taste his skin.
My own skin felt like it was on fire. I watched as Phoenix’s fingers trailed lower, slipping beneath the waistband of Parker’s pants. She didn’t rush. She took her time, savoring every moment, every reaction. Parker’s eyes fluttered shut, his hands gripping her thighs as she pressed against him.
“Fuck, Phoenix,”
Parker groaned, his voice barely above a whisper.
She smirked, her gaze locking with mine again. “Patience, Parker. We’re just getting started.”
The way she said it sent a shiver down my spine. I shifted in my seat, my body growing more restless by the second. Phoenix knew exactly what she was doing. She was playing with both of us, and it was driving me wild.
Phoenix’s hands moved with purpose, sliding Parker’s pants down his hips. Her fingers wrapped around his length, and Parker let out a strangled moan. She stroked him slowly, her touch firm but gentle. Her eyes never left mine as she leaned down, her lips brushing against Parker’s ear again.
“Watch him, Kage,”
she whispered, her voice dripping with desire. “Watch what I do to him.”
I couldn’t look away even if I wanted to. Every movement, every sound, was etched into my mind. Phoenix’s mouth drifted down Parker’s torso, each kiss and flick of her tongue sending a visible shudder through him. When she reached his cock, she swirled her tongue around the swollen head.
“Fuck, Sweetheart…”
Parker groaned.
She didn’t make him wait any longer. Her lips wrapped around him, taking him in with a slow, deliberate rhythm. Parker’s head dropped back, a deep moan escaping as she worked him over, her tongue flicking and swirling in ways that made my own body burn with need.
Her hands gripped his hips, holding him in place, keeping full control as she devoured him with hunger. Parker’s breaths came in ragged bursts, his muscles rigid, barely holding himself together.
Finally, she pulled back, her lips glistening as she looked up at him, satisfaction gleaming in her dark eyes. Parker swore under his breath, his chest heaving.
Phoenix smirked as she turned to me. “Your turn, Kage,”
she said, her voice husky with desire.
I didn’t need to be told twice. I stood, my legs unsteady as I crossed the room. Phoenix slid off Parker, her eyes never leaving mine. She reached for me, her fingers curling around the hem of my shirt. “Off,”
she commanded, and I obeyed without hesitation.
Her hands were warm against my chest, her touch electric. She pushed me onto the couch, her body following mine. Her lips found mine, and I was lost. Her kiss was fierce, demanding, and I melted into it. My hands tangled in her hair, pulling her closer as our tongues clashed.
Phoenix’s hands roamed my body, her touch igniting a fire in me that I couldn’t control. She broke the kiss, her lips trailing down my neck. Her teeth grazed my skin, and I shuddered, my body arching into hers. She was teasing me, just like she had done with Parker, and it was driving me insane.
Her hands moved lower, undoing my pants with practiced ease. My cock sprang free, and she wrapped her fingers around me, her touch firm but gentle. I groaned, my hips bucking into her hand. She smirked, her eyes dark with desire.
“Patience, Kage,”
she whispered, her lips brushing against mine. “I’m in control.”
Her words sent a shiver down my spine. I nodded, my body trembling with anticipation. Phoenix’s lips trailed down my chest, her tongue flicking over my skin. She was savoring me, drawing out every sensation. When she reached my cock, she paused, her breath hot against my length.
“Doll…”
My voice was strained, my hands tangled in her hair.
She didn’t make me wait. Her mouth closed around me, and I groaned, my head falling back. She took me deep, her tongue swirling around me as she moved. Every nerve in my body was on fire, every touch, every sensation, overwhelming me.
Phoenix’s pace was perfection, her movements designed to drive me to the edge. Her hands skimmed up and down my thighs, nails digging in just enough to leave a sting.
I was on the verge of losing control when Phoenix pulled away and turned to Parker. “Join us,”
she purred.
Parker didn’t hesitate. He knelt behind Phoenix, his hands roaming her body and making quick work of undressing her. She arched into him, a low moan escaping her lips as he kissed her neck. His hands slid down her hips, gripping her tightly as he positioned himself behind her.
“Ready?”
Parker whispered, his voice thick with need.
Phoenix nodded, her eyes locking with mine. “Always.”
Parker thrust into her, and Phoenix let out a strangled moan, her body arching back into him. Her hands gripped my shoulders, her nails digging into my skin as they moved together. The sight of them, the sounds they made, was almost too much to bear.
Phoenix’s lips found mine again, her kiss desperate and hungry. I could feel the tension building in her body, the way her hips rocked back into Parker. She was close, and so was I.
Parker’s thrusts became more erratic, his breathing ragged. He was on the edge, and I could feel Phoenix tightening around him. She broke the kiss, her head falling back as she cried out.
“Oh, God…”
Her voice was a whisper, her body trembling with release.
Parker followed her over the edge, his hands gripping her hips as he came, but he didn’t knot her. Relief flooded me—I wasn’t sure I could have waited for him to deflate. I could feel the tension in my own body, the need to finish. Phoenix turned to me, her eyes dark with desire.
“I hope you're not planning to just watch.”
Her voice was a command, low and sultry, and it sent a shiver down my spine. Phoenix’s gaze locked onto mine, her lips curling into a wicked smile as she shifted her weight, leaning back slightly to give me room. Parker was still catching his breath, his hands resting on her thighs, but there was no mistaking the glint of mischief in his eyes. He knew what was coming next, and so did I.
Phoenix reached for me, her fingers curling around the back of my neck, pulling me closer until our lips were inches apart. “I’ve been waiting for you, Kage,”
she whispered, her breath hot against my skin. “Don’t hold back.”
Her words were a challenge, a provocation, and I wasn’t about to let her down.
I kissed her hard, my hands gripping her waist as I positioned myself. She was already wet, her body still trembling from Parker’s release, and when I pushed into her, she moaned into my mouth, her nails digging into my shoulders. She felt incredible, tight and warm, and I had to fight the urge to lose myself in her right then and there. But Phoenix wasn’t one to let me take the easy route.
“Harder,”
she demanded, her voice sharp, her eyes blazing with intensity. I obeyed without hesitation, my thrusts deep and unrelenting. She threw her head back, her hair cascading over her shoulders as she gasped for air. Parker, recovering quickly, moved behind her, his hands roaming her body, his lips trailing kisses along her neck.
“God, you’re perfect,”
he murmured, his voice rough with desire. Phoenix reached back, her fingers tangling in his hair as she pulled him closer, her hips rocking between us. The sound of skin against skin filled the room, a symphony of moans and gasps that only fueled the fire burning inside me.
Phoenix’s hands dropped to my chest, her nails raking down my skin as she arched her back. “Both of you… don’t stop,”
she panted, her voice breaking. Parker and I exchanged a glance, a silent agreement passing between us. We were going to give her everything she asked for—and more.
Parker’s hands found her breasts, his fingers teasing her nipples as he whispered dirty promises in her ear. I leaned down, capturing one of her nipples in my mouth, sucking and biting until she cried out. Her body was writhing between us, her legs wrapped around my waist, and I could feel her getting closer, her muscles tightening around me.
“I’m close… so close,”
she gasped, her nails digging into my back. I didn’t slow down, my thrusts becoming more frantic as I chased my own release. Parker’s hands slid down her body, his fingers finding her clit, and he began to rub in slow, deliberate circles.
Phoenix’s breath hitched, her eyes fluttering shut as her body tensed. “Yes… yes, oh God…!”
she cried, her voice echoing through the room as she came, her body shaking uncontrollably. I felt her pulse around me, the sensation pushing me over the edge, and I buried my face in her neck as I followed her, my release hot and intense.
Parker wasn’t far behind, his hands gripping her hips as he groaned, his own release shuddering through him. We stayed like that for a moment, our bodies pressed together, the air thick with the scent of sweat and sex. Phoenix was the first to move, her hands sliding up my chest as she tilted her head back to look at me, her eyes dark and satisfied.
“Good boy,”
she purred, her lips brushing against mine. I kissed her again, slower this time, my hands tracing the curves of her body. Parker leaned in, his lips finding her shoulder, and we stayed like that, lost in the aftermath, our breathing slowly returning to normal.
But Phoenix wasn’t done yet. She pulled away from me, her gaze shifting to Parker, and then back to me. “Again,”
she said, her voice firm, her eyes sparkling with that familiar challenge. “But this time, I want you both at once.”
I felt a surge of heat low in my stomach, and from the look on Parker’s face, he felt it too. We exchanged a glance, a silent understanding passing between us. Phoenix was in control, and we were more than willing to follow her lead.
She leaned back, her legs spreading wider as she positioned herself between us. “Kage, you first,”
she instructed, her voice low and commanding. I moved without hesitation, my body aligning with hers as I pushed into her again. She moaned, her hands gripping my shoulders as I began to move, my thrusts steady and deep.
Parker didn’t waste any time, positioning himself behind her, his hands gripping her hips as he entered her from behind. Phoenix gasped, her body arching between us as we filled her completely. The sensation was overwhelming, the way she tightened around us, the way her body moved in sync with ours.
“Fuck… yes… just like that,”
she moaned, her head falling back as we moved in unison. Parker’s hands slid up her body, his fingers tangling in her hair as he leaned over her, his lips finding her neck. I watched them, the sight of Phoenix’s ecstasy, the way her body responded to us both, driving me closer to the edge.
She reached up, her fingers brushing against my cheek as she pulled me down for a kiss. “Knot me… please… knot me,”
she begged, her voice breaking with every word. I couldn’t have stopped even if I wanted to. My thrusts became harder, faster, and Parker matched my rhythm, our bodies moving together in perfect harmony until we both slammed our knots inside her.
Phoenix’s nails dug into my back, her cries growing louder as we pushed her over the edge. I could feel her tightening around us, her body trembling as she reached her peak. “Oh God… oh God… I’m coming…”
she screamed, her body convulsing between us. Parker and I followed her, our releases crashing over us in waves of heat and pleasure.
