22. Lucas
Lucas
Cam: I have some news. You still with your parents?
Luke: Already back at the dorm. They had work stuff.
Luke: Can’t wait. :-* I’ll meet you in your room.
I had already showered, but since Cam was on his way, I decided he should have to unwrap his gift, instead of having it already naked on his bed.
It had taken a lot of self-control not to whack off after I saw his photo in the garden.
That smile did me in so many ways, as did knowing the body underneath the clothes. It made it that much better.
I decided on a pair of green peek-a-boo briefs.
They looked like briefs from the front and a jockstrap from behind since most of the ass was missing.
They fit like a jock and framed my ass perfectly.
I wanted to be sexy, comfy, and for Cam to have an easy time stripping me naked, so I opted for a green tank top and grey sweatshorts.
I was a little obsessive with matching my underwear to my clothes.
I took the stairs up to Cam’s room and fell onto his bed. I occupied myself by going through social media posts and reacting and commenting, eagerly awaiting Cam’s arrival.
My dick twitched when I heard the keypad and Cam walked in with a goofy smile on his face. “Someone’s happy,” I observed.
“Well, there is this visitor here I really like,” Cam replied, moving closer.
I propped myself up on my elbows. “Oh, really?” He leaned down and kissed me. I swiped my tongue out to go for more, and he pulled back. I made a playful, grumpy noise and threw myself back onto my pillow dramatically.
“There’ll be time for that later. I need to tell you something.”
“Are you becoming an Andrew Christian spokesmodel?” I asked, half-joking, half-hopeful.
“Nope.”
“Well, you should consider it.”
Cam smiled at me. “It’s actually probably a bigger deal than that. I came out to my mom today.”
“Really?!" I asked, sitting up. "That’s so exciting. What did she say? Please tell me she was cool.”
“She was completely cool. She kind of knew but was waiting for me to be ready to tell her.”
“That’s great. I’m so happy she was supportive. Was this before or after your avian photoshoot?”
“Right after, actually. I was so nervous, though. It was the weirdest thing. Telling my mom who I am. It was an out-of-body experience.”
“I can see that. My parents were fine with the gay part. They immediately told me not to fuck up my career with a relationship though, so that wasn’t great.”
“Is that what happened?” Cam asked.
“Yeah,” I scratched my head. “I guess I hadn’t told you that. Does that make this harder?”
“I’ll avoid the obvious joke, since we’re being serious, but yeah, that complicates things. My mom didn’t say your name, but I’m pretty sure she put it together on her own.”
I frowned. If my parents thought Cam and I were together, that wouldn’t be good for me. They’d already threatened to pull all financial support. I’m not sure how I would finish school. I didn’t think my Andrew Christian deal would be enough.
“Hey Luke.” Cam patted my stomach. “Don’t worry. She won’t pry. If you want to cool things off, I understand. I’ll admit, I’d be really disappointed, but I don’t want to drive a wedge between you and your parents.”
“We’re not cooling things off,” I said, grabbing his hand. “We’ll just have to be more careful since they’re here.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah,” I answered. I scooted over, so I was right next to Cam when my phone vibrated.
Dad: Not sure if you were paying attention to what I said today, but you could’ve done better than bronze.
Dad: I’ll be talking to Shane about ways to improve your performance.
I tried to keep my anger from boiling to the surface. I was sure Cam saw the texts, but he said nothing, and I shoved my phone back in my pocket.
“I’m sorry, Luke, but I couldn’t help but see. Did he really say that about our medal?” Cam asked, softly.
“Uh...yeah. He did.”
“Jesus, Luke.” And then his arms wrapped around me in the tightest hug. I could feel his muscles flexing, as if they were trying to pull me into him. As if we could become one person.
“That’s awful,” he said.
I took a deep breath and then another, and then I could feel a tear form.
And I tried to explain what I thought he was thinking when he said stuff like that.
It was how to become stronger, better. I was practically blubbering.
I didn’t need to be coddled. But their standards were so high...
the grades, the scores, all of it. Cam just kept me in his arms, one hand stroking my back, the other holding onto my neck, entangled in my hair.
When I had calmed down to where I could breathe easily again and I wasn’t crying anymore, he pulled back. Holding my face in his hands a few inches from his own, he said, “I can’t imagine you want to be treated like that by your parents.”
I shook my head.
“Then we’ll figure this out,” Cam said, “together.”
I smiled a little and cleared my throat. “I’d like that.”
“Not sure where to start though.”
I laughed and said, “Me neither.”
“Well, there you go. We’re already working together. Now, is there anything else I can do to make you feel better besides hugs and kisses?” Cam asked. “We have some time.”
“I can think of a few things.”
Cam and I showered the next morning, and I headed back to my room to get some new clothes for the day. We were heading to the arena to watch the twins in the individual all-around, and then me, Cam and Ty had a training session that night, and the next day completely off.
I was trying to figure out what Cam could unwrap later.
He really enjoyed my briefs from last night.
The memory of Cam’s tongue diving in between my cheeks, teasing my asshole, was enough to make me rock hard.
A guy or two had licked at it before, but no one had ever worshipped it like that.
It was less of a rimjob and more of a rim-calling.
For someone with no experience, Cam knew his way around an asshole, and it only made me drip more, thinking of when I’d finally feel his dick inside me.
“Jesus, Luke! Put that thing away. You’ll poke your eye out,” Ty yelped, coming out of the bathroom in his towel. Oops. I had forgotten he was there. “I’m flattered I turn you on so much, but I’m not a home-wrecker, bro.”
I rolled my eyes and selected a white jockstrap and slipped it on, turning to face him.
“I know you’re just fishing for a compliment, but it was Cam I was thinking of.”
“Duh.” Ty feigned upset.
I caved. “You know I think you’re super hot, Ty.”
“Yeah, yeah. Save it. I’ve seen you checking me out.” Ty puffed out his chest and let his towel slip a little, revealing the tops of his pert cheeks.
I had to laugh. I was lucky he was my best friend. My phone dinged, and I jumped on the bed to grab it.
“I’ll leave you lovebirds to it. Imma grab something to eat,” Ty said, smacking my bare ass on the way out.
“Hey! Watch yourself.”
He turned, winked, and walked out the door.
Jake: Hey Luke, sorry to bother you, but I have a favor to ask.
I had texted Cam to meet me for lunch in half an hour, so I was hoping it wouldn’t take Jake long to get to the point. I was waiting in the lounge outside of the Australian dorm. I fiddled around on Instagram until I felt the couch sag next to me and heard, “Hiya, mate. How ya goin’?”
I put my phone away and immediately remembered why Cam was so jealous.
Jake was an attractive guy. Taller and leaner than most of my team.
He kept his reddish-brown hair swept to the side, framing a perfectly tan face with the lightish hint of freckles that only made his bright, white smile that much more charming.
“Morning,” I said.
“Congrats on the medal. Fingers crossed for me. Still have to wait a coupla days.”
I nodded.
“So, you’re probably wondering why I asked you here, and I’m sure you’re still curious about the other night.”
“Yes, to both.” I smiled.
“The thing is, Graham rarely speaks up for what he wants. He’s intimidated by his conservative parents and as such, he’s still in the closet. Grant has always been the leader of the two and currently isn’t really helping me and Graham...shall we say, connect?”
“Does Grant have a reason for that?”
Jake sighed and said, “Probably, but let me explain. Graham and I met three years ago while I was at uni and he was studying abroad. We bumped into each other at the gym, sparks kind of flew, and we started hooking up. To be completely honest, I didn’t know I was Graham’s first. I mean, he was incredible.
How was I supposed to know he hadn’t done it before? ”
I had to smirk at that. Sounds familiar.
Jake continued, “We kept seeing each other, knowing his semester was ending. I didn’t think we were exclusive, so I had hooked up with other blokes.
He found out about ‘em right before he went home. I hadn’t realized his feelings had developed so strongly and felt like an arse.
He was furious, but then he left, and we were thousands of miles apart. ”
“Did you stay in touch?”
“Well, when I found out he was coming here for the Olympics, I reached out, and we started messaging. Messaging became video chats became…”
Jake stopped and became bright pink.
“Got it. And so?”
“He’s giving us another chance and I won’t screw it up this time-”
“Like Grant thinks you will,” I finished for him.
“Exactly. Because Grant, me, and now, you, are the only ones that know Graham is gay.”
“Okay, so you want me to talk to Grant?”
“You can, but I was actually hoping for something else.”
Cam was going to lose his shit when I told him.
Oh hey, babe. Remember the guy that the coaches and half the world thought I was dating. He wants to come to the arena with us today. But it’s for a secret reason I can’t tell you.
Sounded foolproof.
“Hey, tiger,” I heard behind me.
I turned around, smiling. “Hey yourself. Ready to eat?”
“Yes sir. Let’s get some grub and then go cheer for the boys!”
We were actually splurging today and taking advantage of the free McDonalds in the village.
Neither of us had been there yet, but we weren’t competing again for days.
Four for Cam and five for me. In between bites of my burger and deliciously hot fries, I explained the situation.
“So, this is going to sound weird, but I’m bringing someone to the arena today. ”
“Okay. Mysterious much?”
“And you have to promise to be cool.”
“Well, I can’t promise that. I don’t know who it is yet.”
“Just know that it’s for a friend. This person wants to show their support. He’s watching his boyfriend compete, but his boyfriend is in the closet and nobody knows.”
“Oh, that’s fine then. I understand that. That’s kind of sweet, actually.”
Well, that went well.
I waved Jake over.
“Sorry to drop it on you like this, but if I didn’t explain it well enough, maybe he could.”
I watched Cam’s reaction as Jake walked up. I couldn’t read it.
“Hi Camden, I’m Jake. It’s nice to meet you and congratulations on your medal.” Jake offered his hand.
Cam’s mouth was still hanging open as he stood up and shook his hand. “Did you tell him about us?” Cam turned to ask me.
“Us?” Jake said, confused.
“I said nothing specific, just that I was going to talk to my teammate about what he thought.”
“Balls,” Cam said, covering his eyes with his hand.
“You’re together together?” Jake asked. “That’s perfect!”
“It is?” Cam and I asked, at the same time.
Jake and Cam both sat. Jake leaned in and spoke quieter. “Well, if anyone is going to understand an out athlete supporting their closeted boyfriend, it would be you,” he said, looking at Cam. “Assuming I’m right in guessing you two are a couple.”
“You’re right,” Cam said. “And you’re also right about me. I’m mostly in the closet, so if you wouldn’t mind-”
“My lips are sealed.” Jake mimed zipping his lips. “Are you on board with today? It would really mean a lot to me and…my boyfriend.”
“Of course.” Cam stood up, offering a hug to Jake. “I have to admit, I was wrong about you. I thought you were after Luke, so it makes it easier knowing you’re committed to someone else.”
Jake chuckled. “No offense, but I think mine is cuter.”
“Hug’s over.” I stood, pulling them apart. “Insulting my looks and touching my man, when you look like that,” I said, gesturing at his perfectly sculpted body.
Jake raised his hands and backed off. “Hey, to be fair, you two give us a run for our money.”
“Well, that’s hard to confirm when we only know this half,” Cam countered.
Jake smiled, but didn’t say anything.
I had to admit it was a close call, but Cam was far hotter than anyone. “You guys ready to go?” I asked.
Grant and Graham weren’t doing well. They were feeding off each other and it showed.
No one seemed surprised when Jake walked in with me and Cam.
Cam’s mother seemed a little interested.
She was probably confused, to be honest. My parents had already confirmed they’d be working from the hotel today and wouldn’t make it.
It was pretty clear though why things started turning around for Graham. I saw him check his phone after his second event, and his head immediately swiveled to our section. He was searching for someone. And when he stopped, I saw Jake give a little wave. Graham’s smile was blinding.
Ten minutes later, he crushed his rings routine. I saw Graham and Grant chatting a bit afterward, and I saw Grant glance up in the stands, and then pull Graham into a hug. And by the next event, Grant had perked up too, but I wasn’t sure it would be enough.
An hour later and we had our answer.
Graham ended up with bronze. I could see Jake was barely containing his screams, but did so anyway because none of the medalists were Australian and it would’ve looked weird. Grant had recovered too late. He came in fourth. Only a tenth of a point behind Graham.
Cam leaned over and whispered, “It’s Graham, isn’t it?”
“Even if it were, I promised not to tell. Not my place.”
“I understand. You’re a good friend, Luke,” he said, patting my knee.
