Chapter Twenty-Two #2
Reigning in my naughty impulse, I move lower, washing his hard, hairy thighs and all the way down to his feet, then I pull him under the water again. As the soap washes away, I lean in and whisper in his ear.
“Turn around, baby.”
He does as I demand and places his hands on the wall. I lather up and knead his shoulders, and that’s not helping my situation, or his. When I get to his ass, I drop to my knees again and massage his round cheeks. Sel’s ass is art come to life. Literally.
“I need to clean—” Sel starts.
“Full-service Finn will take care of you.”
His body goes rigid.
“Are you sure you want to do that?”
I respond by squeezing his ass cheeks, hard. Sel spreads his legs wider, and I slide my fingers down his crease, cleaning and massaging his hole, lower, over his taint, then back up again. The knowledge that I came inside him gives me a rush I can’t explain.
“Oh, fuck,” he rasps.
Once I’m done, I stand up, wrap my arms around his waist, and pull him under the spray to rinse off. I’m into this, taking care of him. He trusts me and I can’t resist.
“Put your hands back on the wall,” I instruct.
He steps out of my embrace and does just that.
Before I go to my knees this time, I grab a couple of thick washcloths from the ledge and throw them on the floor.
Even though it’d be worth it, I don’t want to completely wreck my knees.
Once I’m back in position, I lean in and kiss the top of his crease, licking drops of water off his ass, moving lower.
“F-Finn, what are you doing?”
“I really want to taste your ass.”
“As much as I want that,” he replies in a shaky voice. “I think my legs might give out.”
“A strong athlete like you?”
“You make my knees weak.”
I don’t know if he realizes what he’s saying, but my heart gives that big flutter again.
“My offer to help you to bed still stands,” I tease and kiss his ass one more time before standing up. “But tomorrow—”
“If that’s what you want, if you’re ready for it, yes.”
I grab the bodywash and briskly clean myself up.
Sel’s not the only one feeling lightheaded.
When he turns around, despite my hard-on, it’s clear that tomorrow is the better idea.
Both of us are wiped after practice and two rounds of sex.
We have a game in two days. And I’m still wrapping my head around the fact that this is my reality.
I shut off the shower and Sel throws me a towel. Once we’re dry, I grab his ass and walk him backwards toward the bedroom.
“Okay, I approve of your offer to help me,” he quips.
I have no idea what time it is, but when I playfully push him onto the bed, he rolls over onto his side and I take my place behind him. When I spoon him, sliding my arm around his waist, he makes a soft humming sound.
“I should’ve changed the sheets,” Sel mumbles.
“Too tired,” I whisper in return, kissing his neck. “Sleep now.”
When I come to, the sun’s peeking through the blinds.
My body aches in the best way and I glance around to make sure I’m not dreaming anymore.
I open my eyes to find Sel slowly peeling back the sheet, trying to be stealthy.
Before he can make another move, I pounce on him.
His surprised chuckle is the best sound to wake up to.
“Whatcha doing?” I ask playfully, brushing back a lock of his wavy hair.
He looks relaxed and rested.
“Well, Dimples.” He smirks and massages my ass. “I was trying not to wake you so I could make breakfast for us. Or lunch, since it’s almost noon.”
“Nope. I lost the bet last night, so it’s my turn to cook.”
His hands trail up my back, my neck, until he cups my face.
“But I want to take care of you,” he whispers in a husky tone.
My heart does a silly little dance in my chest.
“How about we take care of each other?”
“Sensitive, smart, and beautiful.” Sel grins. “I didn’t realize how much I could learn from a rookie.”
I pinch his hip, and he squirms.
“Smart-ass Sel is back.” I grin. “That’s my Wolfie.”
“Wolfie?”
“Yeah, like the story behind your tattoo. Boy, do you need caffeine or what?” I tease.
Sel flips me over and retaliates by licking my nipples.
“Oh God.”
My moan is loud.
Unfortunately, my stomach chooses that moment to growl.
“I can’t believe I’m going to say this but food first, fooling around later.”
He raises his head and playfully kisses my nose. “Okay. But only if I can help you in the kitchen.”
I cup his chin. “Why don’t you relax in bed for a while?”
Reluctantly, I slide off him and crawl out of bed. Sel puts his hands behind his head.
“Turn around,” he demands.
I do as he asks and flex my ass to tease him.
“My handprints look amazing on you.”
Heat creeps across my face and there’s nothing I can do to stop it. When he compliments me, I get so hot and bothered that I’m speechless. As payback, I bend down to reach my jeans, giving him more to view.
“Fuck, that’s not fair,” Sel groans.
I turn around and smirk. “What?”
“If you’re going commando, I’m going to have to insist on helping you with breakfast.”
I laugh.
“Look, but don’t touch. I don’t want to get distracted and start a fire.”
“You have a point,” he concedes as he sits up. “I’m going to hit the head and change the sheets. I’ll join you in a bit.”
I head out to the living area and down the hallway toward the second bathroom.
After I’m done cleaning up, I walk back into Sel’s kitchen and open the fridge.
All his food is neatly organized and meticulously labeled.
I chuckle when I think of how chaotic mine is.
It’s noon, but I still feel like breakfast, and it takes me no time at all to find what I need—eggs, milk, butter, and bacon.
I rummage through his cupboards to find the rest of the ingredients to make pancakes, and then I don’t have to; he’s got a box mix. Perfect.
Once I’ve got the batter ready, I locate a griddle and start cooking, then place the stack of pancakes in the warming oven, along with the croissant he bought yesterday.
With the bacon in the oven, it’s time to make coffee, but before I can get to the machine, Sel steps out of the bedroom wearing a smile and tight black gym shorts. He’s not wearing a jock because I can clearly see the outline of his dick.
“Retaliation?” I quip as I point to his crotch.
“Fair’s fair.”
“That’s it,” I announce. “No more sex until after our hockey game tomorrow.”
All the color in Sel’s face vanishes. Stepping around the island, I go to him and slide my hands around his waist.
“I was only joking.”
He looks down and shakes his head.
“What’s wrong, baby?”
“It’s nothing,” he insists. “I’m fine.”
I squeeze him tightly.
“That doesn’t work in a relationship, Sel. Come on, it’s me.”
He bites his lower lip and meets my gaze. There’s worry and fear in his beautiful eyes.
Like a hard knock to the head, it hits me.
We’re playing Chicago.
“Sorry, knee-jerk reaction,” he whispers and grabs my biceps.
“I’m used to dealing with problems by myself.
I’ve been trying to put this game out of my mind for weeks, but I’m starting to freak out.
The thought of playing against my old team, all of whom want nothing to do with me, makes me sick. This could be bad. Really bad.”
I steer him over to the one of the stools and he sits down.
“I’ll make coffee, and we’ll talk.”
