Chapter 14
Chapter Fourteen
KIERRA
Bachelorette Party
“Take it off, wooooo!” Sin shouts, waving a wad of dollar bills at the sexy cowboy.
Throwing my head back, I can’t hold in the laugh at her expression when he shakes his ass all the way across the table to get to her.
I’ve been sitting in this chair that the girls decked out to look like a throne and have been drinking apple juice while my girls get completely wasted.
This has been such a fun night, but I know as soon as Draven catches wind of the entertainment, he’s going to be mad as hell.
Hopefully, our cowboys will be off the property before that happens.
“Come to momma, Mr. Cowboy! Yeehaw!” Sapphire shouts, waving her shirt around her head like a lasso.
“Get it, girl!” I yell, barely able to control my bladder as tears stream down my cheeks from laughing when she hops on his back, and he proceeds to let her ride him around the room like he’s her prized pony. Oh god, that is so funny.
G plops down next to me, fanning her face as she tries desperately to control her giggles. “They’re nuts,” she chuckles.
“They’re having fun. That’s all I wanted for tonight. We’ve had so much crazy shit happen that we all needed a night to just kick back and have a good time. I hope the guys are having fun too,” I tell her honestly.
“So true. I bet they are considering they’re a bunch of men in a strip club.” She rolls her eyes.
“Incoming!” Sapphire yells, and a second later the door bursts open and in comes all the Saints.
Damn. Viper showed up much sooner than I had anticipated.
I thought threatening Dexter with bodily harm would keep him from ratting us out so quickly.
Looking around though, it lasted long enough for the girls and me to have our fun.
“Kierra,” Draven scolds, coming straight for me and scooping me off my throne.
“Hey! I was sitting there.” I pout as he sits his ass in my chair and pulls me down onto his lap.
“Now you’re sitting here, so quit your bitchin’,” he commands before looking around the room and frowning at the three mostly naked cowboys.
Shaking his head, he finally turns his eyes to me and asks, “Have fun tonight, baby?”
“Yeah, we’ve had a lot of fun. What about you guys?” I ask around a yawn as I lay my head on his shoulder.
“Better now that I’m here. Bring me a beer!” he yells at Pipe.
“Yeah, it is,” I admit, snuggling into the warmth of his body and feeling my eyes getting heavy.
“Can’t go to sleep, Kierra,” Draven says into my hair, and to that I say, “It’s my party, and I can sleep if I want to.” Which is exactly what I do, safe and happy in my soon-to-be husband’s arms.
One Month Later
Wedding Day
“Wow!” Sadie gasps, squeezing through the door and into the room we’ve all been getting ready in. “You look beautiful, Kierra. My dad is going to flip when he sees you in that dress.” She beams as she takes in every detail of what I’m wearing.
“Thank you. You look gorgeous too, sweet girl,” I tell her as I place my hand on my belly and try to rub the foot that’s poking me, into submission.
“Everyone is here and already seated out back. I’m really shocked you were able to get this place so clean, not to mention get the guys to actually put on pants that aren’t jeans with holes in them,” she laughs as she comes over to rub on my belly.
Ever since this little guy started moving, everyone has been fascinated and wants to feel him.
“We worked on it for days, and as for the guys, I had your dad threaten them. Nobody can deny your dad when he lets Viper lose on them,” I laugh.
“You got that right.”
Looking in the mirror, I swirl my makeup brush across my cheeks once more before putting my cosmetics back in my bag.
I’m as ready as I can be. There’s a knock on the door right before Sparrow comes strolling through.
“Got something for you, little momma.” He hands me an envelope with my name scrawled across the front in Draven’s terrible handwriting.
“Thanks.” I smile, reaching for it, and slide my thumb along the edge. Pulling out the folded paper, I open it, my heart melting a little more with each word. He’s such an ass but he’s my ass.
Kierra,
You’re probably wondering what the hell you agreed to, but it’s far too late for that.
You’re mine and I’m yours for eternity, and that won’t ever change.
Waited my whole life for you and gonna spend the rest of it with you too.
Looking back, I should have always known it was going to be you that brought me to my knees.
You put me under your spell, and I never stood a chance.
Now, it’s too late for cold feet so hurry up and get it in gear so I can marry your sexy ass.
Love you, baby.
“Aww. That’s sweet considering who wrote it,” G states, reading the note over my shoulder. She couldn’t be more right. My man isn’t a hearts and flowers kind of man but this is us. It’s real and it’s who we are together.
“Ready, Kierra? If we don’t get a move on, your husband-to-be is going to come up here and drag you down there himself,” Sparrow urges, with a grin on his face, probably imagining Draven doing just that.
“Ready.” I grab his outstretched hand so he can help me up from my stool.
I have spent a lot of time with Sparrow in the last month.
Draven’s been really worried about him since Tempy’s death, so I’ve made it my mission to help him heal from the loss.
I don’t think I’ve made any progress but he has confessed some things to me, and my heart breaks for not only him but for Tempy too.
I hate that it took losing my friend for me to open my own eyes and realize how incredibly short this life is.
How every day needs to be spent loving those who mean the most to me and not to take a single second for granted.
Slipping my arm through his, I let him lead me out of the room, down the stairs, and toward the back door of the clubhouse.
Draven and I decided to have our wedding in the back courtyard.
The girls and I spent the last few days getting the decorations just right so the whole thing is perfect.
We hung fairy lights, set up tables, and positioned about a million chairs from the door to the archway where we’ll be saying our vows.
I don’t think anyone will believe the little wonderland we’ve created in the back of the clubhouse when they look at the pictures later.
We have a ton of people on the property this weekend that have come into town from all over.
Riddick and his VP came in from Rochester.
Trojan and a small group from Kingston made the trip as well.
Chief, and Morpheus, who is my favorite, came up a couple of days ago from Jacksonville to hang out before the wedding.
I’ve met lots of members from the other charters too, and everyone has been incredibly nice.
Most can’t believe Draven is getting married, much less that we have a baby on the way.
As the music starts to play, we stand to the side as my bridesmaids go out before me.
I can’t get over how beautiful they look in their blue, strapless dresses.
The color looks stunning on all of them.
Next out the door is Mila in her princess dress.
She is the prettiest flower girl I have ever seen, and I’m so glad I decided to get her a miniature version of my dress.
“Okay, Nash. We’re up, buddy. Remember, we’re going to go down the red carpet and straight to Draven.
Let’s go.” Sadie takes his hand and leads him down the aisle towards her father.
A minute later, the ”Wedding March” begins to play.
I look up at Sparrow and nothing could wipe the smile off my face.
“Let’s do it,” I tell him. We both chuckle as we step through the door.
Up ahead, I see my soon-to-be husband staring back at me, and I don’t miss the twitch of his jaw or his fists clenching as Knox puts his hand on his shoulder to keep him in place.
When we rehearsed this last night, he kept trying to leave his spot to come for me.
Thankfully Knox promised to keep him where he’s supposed to be.
My heart is beating wildly in my chest, and I’m desperately trying not to cry.
I can’t believe I’m actually marrying the love of my life today.
“Who gives this woman away?” the officiant asks.
“The Saints proudly present her to the groom. No way he’d allow her to be given away,” Sparrow says with a smirk, going off script and earning a few laughs from our audience.
Giving Sparrow a wink, I turn my eyes back to Draven and feel my cheeks flush when I see the fire burning in his eyes. He better not try to carry me off to a back room before we say our vows. Raising a brow at him in warning, he takes a deep breath and finally takes my hand from Sparrow.
“You look so fucking sexy in that dress, baby.” He pulls me closer than we practiced and slams his lips onto mine for a long, wet kiss.
The clearing of a throat has him finally pulling away and turning his narrowed eyes to our officiant.
The roar of laughter is almost deafening as everyone gets a kick out of this version of Viper that they’ve never seen before.
“Thank you. Can we get married now?” I ask with a grin as I wipe my smeared lipstick off his lips.
“Yeah,” he sighs, wiping at my lips. The whole courtyard continues to laugh but finally settles down when Viper turns to stare at them. Patience is not Draven’s strong suit, so having to wait for what he wants isn’t something he’s accustomed to.
“Welcome. At the request of the bride and groom, I ask you all to turn off your phones during the ceremony. The photographers here with us today will capture and share these moments,” our officiant states.
