Chapter 15

Chapter Fifteen

Angel

Holding my woman in my arms, I glance around the room. I’ve been awake for hours now, but I don’t want to move. Not yet. In the last week, I’ve done this . . . held her close, not letting her go.

She’s come a long way in the time since the accident. According to her, she’s not sore anymore and you can see the bruises are healing. Still, I haven’t sunk my dick inside her. I want to make sure she’s really okay and that I don’t hurt her. Doesn’t mean I haven’t indulged in eating her out.

Last night, she demanded for the third time this week that she suck me off. I refused the first two times, only to have her get pissed the third and all but attack me.

Grinning at the thought and what became of last night .

. . us enjoying each other’s bodies, her sitting on my face.

Damn if it wasn’t fun. She was wild for it as she rubbed her pussy in my face, taking my tongue as I saw fit.

The way she sucked my dick in her mouth and took me as far as she could and swallowed.

Fuck, just the thought of her taking my dick in any way has me harder than ever. I’m addicted to her pussy. Unfortunately, this morning I can’t indulge as I would like to.

I’ve got to get with Reaper and handle some club business regarding our legit side of things. Mia, our cousin, runs Hellfire Dancers an hour away from us. She called yesterday about a situation going on with one of the bouncers. From what we know so far, the bouncer is in some shading dealings.

Normally, Mia handles everything . . . except when it comes to the security of the place and those within.

She has her own security detail, but their job is to keep her safe.

The fact that she’s Leo De Luca’s sister, she knows she’s going to be covered with even more security than anyone else.

Mainly because of all the bullshit she’s been through already.

We may not be related by blood, but that doesn’t mean she’s not a part of our family. It’s the way we were raised up.

Before Mom met our dad, she was married to Leo and Mia’s uncle, the head of the De Luca family.

When he died, his brother took over and allowed her to leave under the condition she allow our sister, who she was pregnant with, to still remain a part of the De Lucas.

When Mom and Dad got together, he took our sister in as his own.

The whole dynamic of it all can be confusing to a lot of people. Hell, it confuses me a lot of the time.

Our family is dysfunctional in a lot of ways.

Reaper and I blamed Leo for what happened to our mom and sister .

. . how they died. It’s a miracle that my niece, Bethany, lived that day.

The only one either of us talks to—that is until recently—is Mia.

Though we shut her out for a while as well.

When shit went down with her and she’d been hurt, we helped keep her safe, but only after Leo took things to an extreme measure by taking Bethany.

Everything’s good for the most part. I think Ivy had a helping hand in that; however it may be considering she doesn’t even know it.

I shake my head, clearing it of thoughts I don’t need to be thinking about and focus on my woman. Stella means the fucking world to me, and she doesn’t know the true depths of it.

Without waking Stella, I climb out of bed and look at her. A grin tugs at my lip, seeing the way she shifts on the bed, curling more into my pillows. If only I could slip back in bed next to her. Instead, I lean down and press a kiss to her temple.

Straightening, I reluctantly turn from the bed and move to get dressed. It’s time to get going and get shit done. The sooner I finish it, the sooner I get back here to my woman and hopefully inside her pussy.

I slide my cut over my shoulder and step over to the nightstand. Reaching inside, I grab my gun and holster it. Next, I pocket my knife and my wallet.

“Where you going?”

I lift my gaze to Stella, not surprised to find her awake. My rustling around, getting ready, would’ve woken her . . . no matter how quiet I tried to be.

“Reaper and I have some club business to handle,” I inform her and sit on the side of the bed, drawn by the look in her eyes. Leaning in, I capture her lips in a kiss. I intended to keep it slow and steady, but the moment she moans and invites me in for more of her taste, I can’t control myself.

Wrapping her arms around my neck, Stella pulls me closer, and I let her, wanting more for myself.

A knock at the door interrupts us, drawing a groan of frustration out of me.

Lifting myself, I meet Stella’s gaze. “I better get going. You stick around the clubhouse today. Don’t go anywhere.” I know she’s tired of being here all the time and wants to go back to the house, but it’s safer here. I know nothing can get to her when she’s protected by my brothers.

“I won’t go anywhere while you’re gone, but I want to go home sometime. I miss my house and I go back to work in another week,” she says, her lip poking out slightly, pouting.

“We’ll talk about it when I get back. Shouldn’t take too long. Couple hours maybe.” Kissing her once more, I stand and head for the door. I look over my shoulder and grin. “If you can stay out of trouble while I’m gone, you might get more than just my mouth when I get back.”

“You sure about this, Mia?” Reaper asks, furrowing his brow in concern from what Mia’s just shared with us.

“I’m sure of it.” She nods and points a red painted manicure fingernail at the papers in front of us. “That bastard is trying to sell in this club. He got one of my dancers high on coke, though she refuses to tell me who. Still, I already know who the culprit is.”

Staring at the information again, I massage the tension building in my shoulders. “Do we know who he’s getting the drugs from?”

“No,” Christian, Leo’s right-hand man, says, joining the conversation for the first time, clenching his jaw.

The way he watches Mia, I wonder about what’s between the two of them, but it’s not my business.

At least not unless he does something to hurt her.

“Mia hadn’t told anyone what was going on here.

Only reason I know is cause I’m making it my business,” he states, giving Mia an inquisitive look.

“This isn’t Leo’s business nor yours for that matter,” Mia snarks, rolling her eyes. “When it comes to Hellfire Dancers, I look out for it and report only to the owners.” She gestures toward Reaper and me.

“Mia, with what happened to you and Blake, I don’t give a damn if you think it is or not.”

I glance between the two as they continue a heated conversation. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Mia become flustered by anything. Seeing her this way now, though, I find it interesting. Looking to Reaper, I notice he’s just as surprised but annoyed at the same time.

“Can you two deal with your shit after we handle this guy?” Reaper finally speaks up, his voice more grated than usual.

My phone vibrates in my pocket, and I pull it out to find it’s a message from Tombstone.

Frowning I swipe my finger across the screen unlocking the damn thing.

He knew we were meeting with Mia today and handling business out here.

Normally, he’d come with us, but I wanted Tombstone to stay behind with Hellhound to keep an eye on Stella and make sure nothing happens.

Tombstone: Get back here! Just got word, raid three hours.

“Fuck,” I snarl, coming to my feet. “This shit’s got to wait, or let Christian handle it.” Turning my phone for Reaper to see, he curses. My feelings mutual to his. This isn’t good. Not by a long shot.

Reaper gives a pointed look to Christian and points a finger at him. “If you can handle it, then do it. Let us know what the results are. We’ve got to get back.”

Neither of us wait for a response from Mia or Christian.

They’ll make sure to get it taken care of.

This club is Mia’s baby, and I’m tempted to bring it to the table about signing it over to her.

We’ve got enough revenue coming in, it won’t hit us hard.

Could just start up a new establishment, maybe in Tyler.

I push the thought to the back of my mind for the time being as we step out into the bright sun light.

Shoving my sunglasses in place, I stalk to my bike and look to Reaper.

“Think this has something to do with what’s going on with Stella?

The Scarlet Needles trying to get to her?

Or maybe Miles Dickwad whatever his last name is?

” I ask, my gut twisting as a bad feeling sets in.

“Don’t know, Angel, but this isn’t good.” Reaper shakes his head and straddles his bike. “Let’s just get back to the clubhouse and make sure they don’t tear the club to pieces during this bullshit.”

Right, because that’s the last thing we need.
