Chopper
“What if he has a weapon?” Storm speaks up.
“Well… there are a lot of weapons in that building.” Whiskey winces.
“I don’t think he’ll use weapons. He’s gone on and on to the other prospects about making her pay and doing it with his hands. I really don’t think he’ll use weapons,” Gunner says, shaking his head.
“This is a pride thing and I have no doubt Roxy will make fun of him if he needs to use a weapon to hurt her.” I shake my head. Only Roxy can be stubborn and mean enough to make rescuing her easier.
“Man, this woman sounds like a handful.” Whiskey chuckles.
“She’s perfect,” I whisper.
A shriek of pain fills the air and my gaze snaps to Storm and Porter. I don’t care if I have to do this alone, I'm getting Roxy out of there right now.
“Let’s go,” Kaleb growls. “I'm not letting him hurt her anymore. I want you to wait at the door for River to give you the signal. We need to go in at the same time.”
We hurry to the door we’re supposed to enter and River stands at the corner of the building so he can see both doors.
Members of the Sinners and Savage Wolves are stationed around the building, ready to go in and help if need be.
I can’t imagine we’ll need more than seven people to subdue one man though.
I watch River carefully and as soon as he gives us the nod, I turn the handle and Porter storms in ahead of me. Storm keeps his hand on my shoulder, but doesn’t stop me from following Porter.
He knows I won't hesitate to sacrifice myself to save the only woman I’ll ever love.
