Setup on the Montana Ranch

Clancy Roberts seeks shelter from a storm at the ranch of Dub Crawford's father, and Dub can tell at once that she is in trouble.

He has tried more than once to win a date with her, but she has always turned him down because she does not date cowboys.

Then he learns she is suspected of murder, with the real killer already on her trail, and he moves at once to help her evade the people hunting her.

While they stay hidden, Clancy begins to care for the cowboy standing between her and everyone after her.

To save the woman he loves, Dub must now take on the law, his family, and a killer.
