Chapter 62

Raven

As much as I enjoyed watching stupid human shows, I was not a fan of drama in my own personal life.

My males had sensibly left me alone after the ridiculous bullshit in the bathroom, started by Zane, it seemed.

Any remaining mood boost from my delicious merman-induced orgasms had long since faded. Now, instead of drifting on a cloud of feel-good hormones, I lay on the bed worrying about Zane.

If he couldn’t find Alaric, would he end up staying away until he did? Which meant he’d be stuck in some godforsaken wasteland forever. Yes, I knew I was being ridiculous. But I also knew Zane was not the best at making calm, logical decisions.

A photograph in a gold frame snagged my gaze. In it, a small boy smiled as he held up a fish he’d caught. I got up to take a closer look. Was that Alaric? Stars, what a cute kid.

“Yeah, it’s me,” my mate confirmed. He leaned against the wall, watching me, his damp hair combed. Unlike me, who still wore a towel, he’d changed into a pair of faded jeans and a tee. The denim hugged his thighs to perfection. And the rest. Sweet goddess.

I tore my gaze away from his much-too-appealing package and forced myself to look up.

“I’m surprised your dad has photos. Had,” I instantly corrected, remembering Tiberius was dead.

“It’s for show. This is—was—a guest bedroom. Dad liked to pretend we were a functional family when visitors stayed. It sold the illusion that he was an upstanding member of the magical community.”

My childhood had been lonely at times, but at least I’d been raised by people who cared about me. Unlike Alaric.

“I’m glad he’s dead,” I admitted with a small measure of guilt.

That made Alaric smile. “I think we can both agree it’s a blessing he’s fucking dead, my vicious little witch.” He pushed away from the wall and stalked across the bedroom. “You’re supposed to be dressed by now. Maverick’s getting twitchy.”

I rolled my eyes. “It’s been, like, five minutes!”

“Ten, actually.”

“Ugh. Fine! I’ll pull some clothes on and be down in a minute.” The smell of roast meat wafted upstairs, making my stomach rumble. There’d been food at our bonding ceremony, but Zane had whisked us all away before I could sample any of it.

“Is Zane back yet?” Anxiety had my belly cramping.

“Missed me, pet?” My incubus swept in, shoulder-checking Alaric as he passed.

Seeing him smirk as if all was right in the world riled me up something awful. My magic flared, and without thinking, I blasted him with a fireball. He yelled when it hit him in the chest.

“Ouch! That hurt!” Clearly not that much from his rueful grin, although there was now a black scorch mark on his shirt.

“I think our mate needs her ass spanked.” He laughed at my feeble attempt to shove him back, and we both fell onto the bed.

“You’re the one who needs to be punished for being an ass to Alaric!”

“Aww, pet, it’s not my fault the vanilla popsicle has a degradation kink.”

“No I fucking don’t, you dick.”

“Yeah, you do. Everyone knows pranks are my love language. Now get your ass over here, sparky. We have five minutes before the bear comes up here, so let’s make it count.”

Zane yanked the towel from my body and tossed it aside. Then he scooted down the bed, spread my thighs, and licked a wet stripe up my pussy.

“Fuck, you taste divine, pet. Sweet and salty. My favorite vintage.”

A disgruntled huff told me Alaric was unhappy about playing second fiddle again, so I reached for him.

“Let me taste you too,” I gasped as Zane sucked my clit into his mouth. “Please!”

“Good plan. I’m sure five minutes is four minutes too long for ol’ sparky boy.”

“Fuck you,” Alaric snapped, but his heated gaze was firmly on me, or rather, my breasts.

“Hurry!” Zane was right. Maverick would know—again—what we were doing. He always felt it through the bond.

With a muttered curse, my storm mage kicked his jeans off and joined us on the bed. He bent over and sucked a nipple, swirling his tongue around my hard peak. Stars, between the two of them, I was close to coming again.

How did other females cope with less talented mates? I felt sorry for those poor bitches.

“Choke her with your cock, Fritz,” Zane purred as he slid a finger inside me.

Alaric didn’t need to be told twice. The salty taste of him burst on my tongue when he pressed his thick shaft between my lips, edging deeper until I gagged.

“Good girl,” my storm mage crooned, withdrawing just enough to let me catch my breath before pushing in another inch. An angry roar echoed from downstairs, causing Zane to double down on his efforts to make me come.

Alaric groaned at the same time as my pussy fluttered. Pleasure crashed over me, sending burning embers into the air above us. Salty release flooded my mouth, and I struggled to swallow it all.

“Such a good little pet!” Zane grinned as he moved over me, licking his fingers clean. “Now let’s get you dressed.”

Maverick’s lips flattened into a line when I appeared in the kitchen with a sheepish smile. My cheeks flushed under his scrutiny, but I refused to apologize for taking my pleasure again.

He sighed. “Let me feed you, little mate.”

“I can feed myself,” I huffed, rolling my eyes.

“Please,” he said with a low whine. My bear’s need to take care of me felt suffocating sometimes, but I understood it was a bear thing, as he’d repeatedly explained, so I relented.

The minute I sat down, Maverick filled a plate for me. While I’d been upstairs, someone, probably Maverick, had made a selection of side dishes.

A spoonful of potato salad passed my lips, and I groaned.

“That good, little mate?” I nodded, hungrier than I’d realized. Maverick forked up some pasta, and I opened my mouth for him like a good little witch.

When the first batch of steaks was ready, he gave me the biggest one and then cut it up into small bites. I tried not to whimper at how delicious and tender the meat was.

My bear continued feeding me as the others helped themselves to the spread. Rasmus was the only one of us who sat back, a glass of viscous fake blood in his hand. He said nothing, but each time I accepted a morsel of food, his eyes tracked my throat as I swallowed.

Eventually, I could eat no more and pushed the plate away.

“I made devil’s cake for you,” my bear teased, much happier now that he’d satisfied one of my primary needs.

“Honestly, I’ve had enough of demonic things,” I muttered, still deeply traumatized by my father’s enthusiastic dating activities.

“Have some cake,” Maverick urged. “It was my mother’s recipe.” A wave of sadness hit me down the bond.

Since chocolate was one of my top food groups, I nodded. I figured I’d be burning a lot of calories over the next few days, so a slab of cake would restore my energy levels.

“Help me clear the table,” Alaric said to Zane and Kai. The three of them quickly loaded the dishwasher before Maverick picked me up and deposited me by the fire. Rasmus lifted me onto his lap, and a few seconds later, Maverick reappeared with a slice of chocolate cake.

It looked and smelled delicious, and even though my stomach was full, I knew I couldn’t deny my bear mate. If feeding me cake helped ease his sorrow, then it was the least I could do.

The cake melted on my tongue. The flavors were rich and decadent—pure sugar laced with something alcoholic.

“My mother always added rum to the mix,” Maverick explained. “Dad liked the taste.”

“It’s good,” I mumbled around my cake before licking a splodge of frosting from my lips.

The heat from the fire wasn’t the only thing warming me up. Despite having enjoyed several orgasms at my mates’ hands, I desired more. Was this a side effect of the bonding ceremony?

Maverick inhaled sharply. “Little mate,” he growled, setting the plate aside. “Is there something else you need?”

“She needs more orgasms,” Rasmus purred. “It’s our turn to please our mate.”

“Your lust tastes exquisite,” Zane agreed from the kitchen door.

“Fuck off, incubus,” Maverick snapped.

“No, wait.” I’d had enough of all the bickering. If they couldn’t get along on our bondmoon, the future didn’t look good for us. It was beyond time they all accepted that there were six of us in this coven/pack/harem.

“I want you all here. You need to learn to share.” I glared at Maverick, making it clear I saw him as the biggest problem in that arena.

“I can share just fine,” Zane said with a wink.

“Me too,” my vampire agreed.

“I’m working on it.” Alaric forced a smile.

“I will share,” Kai told me, not disappearing for once, which I appreciated.

The old me would have collapsed into a puddle of embarrassment at the thought of being with so many males, but the new me was a badass, independent witch who knew her worth. This version of me had embraced her sexy feminine side. I deserved all the orgasms!

Yes, it was my new motto in life, although I’d stopped short of changing my Magigram bio to those exact words.

Maverick sighed. “I will try harder, little mate. Even if I have to share you with that incubus asshole.”

Zane mock-gasped, but in reality, not much offended him. Not where sex was concerned anyway.

“Good, because I’m tired of you bickering all the time.

We’ve been through such a lot lately.” I swallowed hard.

The memories of all I’d done still lingered, and I doubted they would ever disappear completely.

“Dealing with school is bad enough, so it would be nice if we could all support each other rather than trying to score points all the time.”

My mates had the grace to look a teeny bit ashamed. Well, Kai and Alaric did. Zane, not so much.

“Can you do that? All of you?”

“Yes,” they all said in unison.

“Then prove it to me.”

It took a hot minute for my meaning to sink in, but my bear was the first to catch on. He dropped to his knees and pulled my shorts down my legs, tossing them aside.

Rasmus slid my tee off my shoulders, exposing my breasts to the room. Soft groans echoed, drowning out the howling wind whipping around the cabin.

My mates worked together to caress my body and bring me to the peak of pleasure again and again, until I was so boneless and exhausted I finally drifted to sleep in my vampire’s arms.

And when I woke the next morning, we spent the day in bed while they practiced how to share me.

Ten out of ten, would recommend.
