Chapter 10

NAOMI

“Baby, please stop. Fuuuck! I’m cumin’,” I moaned as Sin sucked my juices out of me like he was dehydrated.

Coming up for air, Sin smiled at me with his beard glistening. I had been so worried about everything with the baby that I’d been neglecting my man sexually. Something in my head told me that Sin’s dick was going to poke a hole in my sac and I would lose the baby again.

Penetration was the last thing I wanted, and especially not rough. When we did have sex—which was rare now—it was extremely slow, still good but he couldn’t do that thing that I liked from the back because that shit would hurt like hell.

One thing about my baby, though, he still made sure he got a taste of me daily. Before we found out about our baby, sex was breakfast, after workout snack, and something to cure our sweet tooth at night.

I can never say I don’t know how this happened and we were careful because we were far from being safe.

Once I went through everything with Vick, in my mind, my little insides were so fucked up that I would never be able to conceive again.

No doctor told me I couldn’t but to me, if I couldn’t hold a baby in long enough to save my life then something was fucked up inside of me.

“Get cho’ ass up so we can go. Mama waiting on us to pull up on her, and she hates for us to be late.”

“Really, Sin? You are acting like I’m the one who just had my face in your pussy.”

“What?” Sin snatched me out the bed so fast. My legs wrapped around his waist and my arms followed, trying to make sure I didn’t fall. His face nuzzled in the crease of my neck and shoulder, repeatedly nibbling there.

Hysterically laughing, I finally found my voice enough to let out, “Baby, stop!”

“Don’t play with me like that.”

Sin carried me into the bathroom and then placed me on the counter.

I watched him turn the shower on then test the water.

This became a pattern until it was the right temperature.

His back muscles flexed as he came up and turned towards me.

All I could think about was how amazing this man was to me.

From day one, he hadn’t missed a beat on pursuing me.

Regardless of how much I put up a fight, Sin wasn’t backing down and that’s the part of him that I loved.

This is the guy I prayed was designed just for me.

The guy that would always have my back and stop at nothing to show love and to protect his family.

I thought Vick was that, but his mother proved me all wrong.

It didn’t matter how good I was to her or her son, I would’ve never been right for her son, and that’s ok because someone found me.

And judging by the way Sin was with me, how his family had been with me, and how he made sure that no matter what he was doing, nothing was more important than us. Sin was the man for me.

Pecking my lips, he slipped the only piece of clothing I had on, over my head, and to the floor. “Don’t take all day, and don’t take too short of a time either or I’m making you get cho’ ass back in the shower. A woman should never jump in and out of the shower.”

“You talking like I stank and you are trying to send me a message or something.” Frowning, I waited on his reply. His eyes roamed my naked body before speaking.

“I’m just saying, before you start; don’t.”

“Whatever, Sin, get out so I can shower.” Kissing my lips again, he walked out, making sure to close the door behind him.

After showering and washing my hair, I got out and threw on something comfortable. Sin had been coming into the bathroom every few minutes to see what was taking me so long.

“How you go from, ‘Wash ya ass good’ to ‘You taking too long’? Make it make sense, Sin.” Fussing, I slid inside of his truck while he closed my door behind me.

“Yo’ ass was being petty because I said don’t take forever. You didn’t have to take an hour shower.”

“Sin, you obviously need some pussy to get your brain working properly because, Baby, you are doing too much. Let’s go.”

“You know I need some pussy. Talking about ‘obviously’. If it’s obvious then gimme some then. Gotta a nigga out here with full balls and a fucked-up attitude,” Sin mumbled, and I had to laugh. He was in a full-blown conversation with himself.

“Aww, my little baby is upset. I'll fix you right on up later. I won’t even tell you to hurry up because the baby can feel your dick poking his head, this time.”

A smile came across his face at the same time his foot pushed on the gas, speeding us to his parents' house, which wasn’t far away. They literally all live walking distance, but my ass wasn’t about to walk two miles over there.

Getting out, we headed inside. My stomach growled when the aroma of food being cooked hit my nose. “It smells like she’s cooking Thanksgiving dinner in here.”

“Something like that. She just wanted to do something nice for you, Bri, and PJ before this next championship game.”

“I hear Brooklyn, so that means Zoo is here, too, right?”

“He isn’t. When I called to tell him that Mama was cooking to celebrate you guys, he asked if PJ would be here, too.

When I said of course, he told me he was cool and would catch us later.

Which shocked me because that boy loves my mama’s cooking.

” Sin chuckled. “He doesn’t care what’s on the menu, he’ll be here no matter what. ”

“Wow, he’s that upset, huh?”

Sin nodded. “He is. Zoo ain’t never felt like this for no female, so he’s really fucked up by what PJ said to him. He’ll come around, eventually, because Brooklyn and I have been trying to talk to him but right now, he’s still hurt.”

I felt bad for Zoo. He was really a sweetheart. I’d have to talk to PJ again because she had to fix this. Her attitude is what messed them up. I knew my sister, and her mouth could get real nasty, and she had no remorse until it was too late. Which is how it was right now.

Sin’s mom walked out of the kitchen, wiping her hands off on a towel before she tossed it back over her shoulder.

“Hey, Baby, how are you doing?” Reaching out, she hugged me tighter than the panties I had on.

I had to make a mental note to go buy a pack of panties from Walmart because these cute ones didn’t sit right on my stomach anymore.

“I’m good. How are you?”

“I’m always good, Baby. I never let anything get to me. I’m too old to be stressed about things that go on in my life, so trust me when I say, even if I ain’t good, I’ll make sure that I am soon.”

“You ain’t got nothing to be stressed about. Daddy makes sure you are good,” Sin added.

“Chile, I take care of yo’ daddy. Now get out of my conversation and gon’ on in there with Brooklyn’s loud ass. I thought Zoo was in there with him but it’s just him, yo’ father, Bri and PJ, in there talking about sports. By the way, where is my nephew?”

“He said he’ll skip this one.”

Sin’s mom eyes bucked. “My nephew sick?”

“Nah, PJ got him out here heartbroken,” Sin told her.

“I’ll call and tell him that I have a plate aside for him to pick up later. That’s not like him to skip a meal, so he gotta be really in his feelings. I’ll make sure that PJ get one scoop of food for breaking my nephew’s heart.”

I tried not to laugh but that was funny.

“Nah, Ma, give her a scoop and a half. This dinner is for her, too.”

Mrs. Renee smacked her teeth. “She better unbreak his heart and fast.” His mom was joking but I could tell she still meant that shit.

“Gon’ in there, everything is almost ready.”

Sin grabbed my hand, pulling me behind him towards the living room.

“Sup,” Sin spoke, and I smiled and waved before taking a seat in between Bri and PJ.

Bri and Brooklyn kept talking about the game while PJ just sat there looking crazy.

“Come outside with me to get something out of the car.” She nodded and then got up. “I’ll be right back,” I told Sin.

I could immediately see PJ going into defense mode. The way her stance became so strong, I had to tell her to relax. “What’s your problem? You are sitting in there with a whole attitude and don’t say you aren’t because you weren’t even talking to them and you love sports.”

“Why isn’t he here, Mimi?” A whimper escaped her lips as she pouted. “I wanted to talk to him before everything started so we could clear the air but Brooklyn said he’s not coming.” Her shoulders sagged in defeat.

“Penelope, what did you think? You yell at the man like he ain’t shit and tell him to leave you the fuck alone, then you get mad because he does. Make that dumb shit make sense for me, Peeg.”

“He can’t be that mad at me. I’m sure he’s heard worse and still talked to them, so why completely shut me out like this?”

“Zoo loved you, sis, and apparently you are too blind to see that but everyone else did. You fucked this up and you can’t blame anyone but yourself. Now, Mrs. Renee has cooked for us and you need to act like you appreciate it. You’ll figure out what to do to fix things with Zoo sooner or later.”

The front door came open and Bri stepped out. “If this is a kumbaya moment, I’ll stay inside. I’on want to hear about no sad shit today.”

“She’s crying ‘cause Zoo isn’t here,” I told Bri, and we both twisted our lips up.

“Chile yea, I definitely don’t want to hear how she pushed him away and now wants him back. Send him a nipple picture or something to make him reply.”

“Really, Bri? I’m not doing that.”

“Then lay in the bed that you made. Until then, dinner is ready and yours is the one with the one scoop of food on it. Mrs. Renee thought you should know that before you sat in front of Mimi’s full plate.”

Peeg’s mouth hit the floor. “Ahh hell nah. I’m going home.”

“Girl come on, you can have some of mine.” I laughed and pulled her inside behind me. Bri wasn’t lying either. Once we got to the table, I could definitely tell which plate was hers. The whole family was petty as hell.
