Chapter 16

brOOKLYN

Before Bronx and I got ready for dinner, we decided to go talk to my mom.

The day of my birthday left me feeling low as hell.

For days, I was just stuck in my feelings with those words that she’d said to me.

They say you are supposed to face your fears but how do you face death and be ok?

That shit was hard to do, and I’d never truly accept what could possibly happen to her.

After the party, we went back to my place, and Bronx wasted no time trying to cheer me up.

I swear even though we just chilling, she’d been making me happy as fuck.

My studio was my baby and nothing could pull me from that shit.

Someway, Bronx unknowingly did that shit and I wasn’t complaining about it at all.

She was on another level from the chicks I’d fucked with before, which is why I never tried to get serious with them. Bri though, the more I spent time with her, the more I wanted to write her a note asking her if she wanted to go out with me and to circle yes, no, or maybe.

When we got to my mom’s, I finally got all of the answers I needed about her health, what the doctors said, and so on.

Hearing her percentage of survival, fucked me up even more.

I can still hear her little voice telling me that I was strong and I’d be able to handle this if and when the time came.

Her faith was bigger than mine. He may as well had picked a plot for me next to her ‘cause I was like my daddy, I wasn’t about to survive without my mama.

“You straight over here?” Zoo and Sin walked up on me, passing me a shot.

“I’m good. Just admiring you and all this happiness. You deserve it that’s for sure.”

“Hell yea, I do. The way you looking at Bri, I would think you about to do the same.”

Instead of replying to Sin, I tossed my shot back.

“We were supposed to do that shit together, my nigga. Now you gotta take another one and wait on us.”

“Zoo tryin to get yo’ ass fucked up,” Sin added.

“I already know. I’m not about to be cuttin’ up with him tonight. This is yo’ day, and he already know that clear shit makes me nut up.”

“Shiiid, water will make you do that so that doesn’t even matter.”

“Water is clear, right?” I shot back at Zoo.

“You right, I thought you were talking about liquor though. Anyway, fuck you. Always trying to correct somebody. Patron or water, either way you’ve always been a fucked-up person but you hide that shit well.

Out of the three of us, the quiet one is the main person these muthafuckas should be scared of.

They be thinking yo’ ass on some let's get along type shit. Hol’ time, you gon’ be the first one to get the strap and ask questions neva. ”

Zoo was right.

“I’m wit' you when you right,” Sin chimed in.

“Ay, give this nigga another shot.” Zoo gestured for the waitress to come over, and she came prancing, grinning all in his face. I’on know about Zoo, but my eyes looked around the room to see if PJ was seeing this shit, too. When I saw her walking over, I tried to shoo ol’ girl off.

“Thank you, sweetheart. Stick around, we gon’ need some more of these. It’s a celebration.”

“Don’t let that sweetheart word get you fucked up.”

Instead of tossing my shot back, I sipped on this one so I could see how Zoo was going to get out of this shit.

“I was just being polite.”

“Go back to being mean. She’s grinning too hard for my liking.” PJ looked the waitress up and down, meanwhile I was wondering why her dumb ass was still standing there.

“Um, yo’ ass is dismissed and this one don’t need no more shots.” Swatting her away, PJ walked off and went back over to where Bronx and Naomi stood.

“Daaamn, she told yo’ ass.”

“Nigga, all I heard was pussy talking. She can cut up on any bitch in this restaurant as long as she throwing that shit back on me later. I’m trying to pull a Sin and knock Pen up soon.”

Shaking our heads at Zoo, we then toasted to Sin and Naomi’s engagement. The guys walked off to get their women, and I stayed back, admiring Bronx from afar. She casually walked around, talking to people, unfazed by anything that was going on around her.

Tonight, she wore this backless fitted black dress we found at Macy’s.

Her hair was down and straight, covering up most of what could be seen in the back.

Anybody else would have pinned their hair up just to show the back of their dress off.

Those bitches lacked the class that Bronx possessed, and I constantly reminded her that she was in a class of her own.

Some men liked women who bared it all, I didn’t and I loved how Bri didn’t have to do much and was still one of the most beautiful women I’d ever seen.

Seeing her smile had me thinking back to the time she cooked for me and almost burn everything down.

“Dinner will be ready at seven, so don’t be late. You’ve been in the studio all day long, and I know you haven’t stopped to eat at all.”

“Shawty, I’ll be there on time. If you miss me and can’t wait for me to get there then just say that.”

“I’m hungry, baby, so please just hurry up, and I do miss you a little bit. It’s been a whole twenty-six hours, forty-five minutes, and fifteen seconds since I’ve seen you.”

“Bronx, we are on Facetime right now.”

“Fuck Facetime, I wanna be on your face this time and you are takin’ forever.”

“Yea aight, play with something safe, baby. You think this dick is something to play with but it’s gon’ have you in love more than you already are.

Stick to cuddling and pressing ya ass against me to get yo’ feel because once we get it cracking, it’s a wrap for any other nigga.

They gon’ be sliding they dick in and it’s gone feel like they shit is being thrown down an empty hallway.

“First of all, damn! It’s the big? Second of all, who said I was in love with chu’? They are minding my business right now.”

“Indeed, it is, and don’t nobody gotta tell me shit about my girl.”

“Your girl, huh? I guess you know me then.”

“I know enough, for now, and the rest will come. You got a problem with that?” My head dipped to the side, waiting on her to answer me.

“Not one problem, baby. Now hurry up. The food is almost ready. By the time you get here, I’ll be fixing our plates.”

“Aight, I’m shutting this shit down now. See you in a few.” Ending the call, I closed up and headed out the door. By the time I made it to Bronx’s house, I was starving and was more anxious to see her as she was to see me.

“B, where you at?” I yelled out while walking through the house.

“In the room.”

Heading upstairs, as soon as I hit the room door, my dick got hard.

Bronx was laying in the bed in one of my T-shirt with her legs stretched wide open.

The sight before me was beautiful, causing my dick to jump the closer I got to her.

Dropping my things that were in my hand on the floor, I kneeled down so that I was face-to-pussy level.

“You really missed me, I see.”

“Yep, and I want you so bad right now. I've been this good girl for months now, but I want to feel you inside of me tonight. Right now. Pronto.”

Not wasting anymore time, I locked my arms around her thighs, pulling her more to the edge of the bed.

Licking my lips, I leaned in closer, then placed kisses up her thighs until I reached her pussy lips.

Sucking one side pulled a moan out of her before making my way to her clit.

My tongue lapped up her juices, before I gently sucked up her pearl.

“Shiit!”

Her moaning off this, let me know that she’d be crying when she realized that I brought dick too.

“Hmm.” Pushing her legs open more, I lifted her off the bed. Her fat pussy was glistening. With one hand, I opened her pussy lips while the other hand caressed her breast.

“Oh gosh,” Bronx moaned out when my tongue wrapped back around her clit like it was a gift waiting to be covered. “Shit, baby. The food.” Bronx, jumped out of the bed and ran downstairs when the sound of her smoke detector went off.

Not giving a damn about adjusting my dick, I headed out the room after her.

“I burned it.” She pouted while holding up what looked like a burnt ass ball of meatloaf in a pan that was equally as burnt.

“Baby, I promise it’s cool. I’on eat that shit no way. Something about one big ass glob of meat just don’t sit right with me. Let’s order a pizza ‘cause we can’t do shit with your Cajun style meatloaf.”

Bronx laughed then placed the food back on the counter. I wasn’t trippin about us not being able to finish what she started. I knew that time was gon’ come back around and when it did, she better know I wasn’t taking it easy on her. She started something that I couldn’t wait to finish.

“Let’s make a bet?” Zoo came over with the dumbest grin on his face, pulling me from my thoughts. I wasn’t ever scared to bet shit but with Zoo, you never knew what you were getting into.

brIANNA

“Congratulations!” PJ and I squealed when Mimi walked over, holding her wrist with the other hand as if it were too heavy for her to hold up without assistance.

“Thank yooou! Oh my gosh, I was not expecting this at all. I can’t believe you guys kept this from me.” Mimi cocked her head to the side.

“They didn’t tell us either. I guess they knew we would be doing too much and end up spilling the beans.” PJ’s comment seemed forced, leading me to wonder if her ass in fact did know.

“Yep, Brooklyn didn’t mumble a word to me either. All I knew was that we needed to find something nice to wear.”

“Either way, I have a wedding to plan.”

“Yasss to being a beautiful bride.” We toasted our champagne glasses but before Mimi could even get a sip of hers, Sin was walking towards her.

“Don’t be drinking that while you are pregnant with my shawty.”

“It’s not even wine, it’s that sparkling Welch’s shit with zero percent of alcohol so calm down.” Sin obviously didn’t trust Mimi’s words because he took the glass out of her hand and poured some in my cup then some in PJ’s cup.
