Chapter 14
FOURTEEN
SINCERE
When I got the message from an unknown number, more than likely Logan, I immediately went to delete the thread.
Again, I wasn’t the type of nigga who believed in taking information from just anybody.
Nine times out of ten, when a motherfucker was sharing information about someone else, it was because they wanted something out of it.
So, how could you trust a motherfucker whose intentions weren’t pure to start with?
But when the photo attachment came through, that was when I decided to really look at the picture.
And sure enough, there was Kenedi sitting at a table with that bitch ass nigga, Ray.
And while it looked innocent, I didn’t like the fact that she was there with him and didn’t tell me about it.
When it came to Logan, that bitch ambushed me, and while I definitely could’ve handled the shit better, it wasn’t some shit that I planned.
Kenedi planned this shit and thought it was okay to go meet up with her ex.
UNKNOWN:
It’s 7pm, do you know where your woman is?
Ignoring the message, I pulled up the FindMy app to find Kenedi’s location and felt like this was the perfect time for me to pop up.
Thankfully, Kenedi hadn’t been fully exposed to my craziness so far, but today, she was about to get a crash course on why I wasn’t the nigga to play with.
And she was going to see firsthand that I was a stingy nigga and I didn’t like to share what was mine with anybody, especially her ex-nigga.
It didn’t take long for me to find them in the restaurant once I got there.
After bypassing the waitress, I made my way to their table and took a seat between them.
Kenedi’s face held shock and fear. While Ray looked annoyed that I had crashed whatever the fuck he thought was about to happen here tonight.
I would be honest and say that it took me a lot of restraint not to knock him smooth the fuck out of his chair, but somehow, I managed to keep my shit together, for the time being at least.
“You know, when you said you had a meeting, I was thinking a client or artist meeting. Not a meeting with this nigga,” I said, pointing to Ray as I stared at Kenedi.
“You told this nigga we had a meeting? Nah, we’re on a date, my nigga,” Ray said, immediately pissing me the fuck off.
“What? No, this is not a fucking date. He told me that he had something to tell me and that it was life or death, and he could only tell me in person.
“Is that right? So, what did he tell you?”
“Not a damn thing. I only came because I thought it was something that would affect me, too. But now I see that it was a waste of my time, per usual,” she said, rolling her eyes.
I believed her. Even though she’d conveniently left out who she was meeting with, I wouldn’t paint her out to be a liar because I knew that she wasn’t.
“Kenedi, I want you back, baby. I can’t live without you, and this nigga doesn’t—,”
He stopped in the middle of his sentence the moment my fist connected with his mouth.
I didn’t know what kind of nigga he took me for, but he was sadly confused.
You would’ve thought that by now that nigga would’ve put his resources to work and figured out who I was and why I wasn’t the motherfucker that he wanted to keep trying, but clearly, he was too focused on trying to get my woman back to really do his homework.
It was okay. He was about to get a crash fucking course, too.
“Can we just go, Sincere? It’s not worth it, I promise. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you, but I really only came because I thought he had something important to tell me. And I know this is a bit hypocritical, so I’m sorry for that, too.”
Looking between her and him, I decided that I would pay his ass a visit later. But he was going to see me for the bullshit he was up to. Unfortunately for him, his inability to let go would cost him everything.
“Yeah, we can go. You got some making up to do anyway,” I said, grabbing her hand and leading her out of the restaurant.
Once Kenedi did what she needed to do to make me forget all about her not telling me that she was going to link up with her ex-nigga, I put her to bed and made my exit.
I had some shit that I needed to take care of tonight, and I couldn’t sleep until I knew it was handled.
I was excited about getting my hands dirty, too.
“Sincere, what are you doing here?” Logan asked, jumping as she came out of the shower. Her body was glistening from the water, but that shit didn’t move me. She couldn’t hold a candle to Kenedi, and besides, I knew her insides were rotten, and that shit turned me off.
“Put some clothes on.”
“I thought you liked seeing my body,” she said, smirking.
“At one point I did, then I found Kenedi,” I said, smirking at the fact that I knew I had hurt her feelings.
“What do you want, Sincere? Did you come to make up? Because I’m ready to do that.”
Taking a seat across from where she sat on her bed, I studied her.
There had to truly be something wrong with her.
I just knew it had to be some kind of mental condition to make up the kind of scenarios that she was coming up with in her head.
I had never given her the idea that we would be anything more than friends with benefits, and I used the term friends very loosely.
“Do you have some kind of mental illness that you never told me about?” I asked, needing to know before I killed her ass. A part of me wanted to take her ass to see a doctor, because I was truly curious about what the fuck was wrong with her.
“What?” She snarled, clearly offended by my question.
“I’m saying, something has to be wrong with you, right? We were never a couple, yet you’ve been doing all of this shit as though I truly did you wrong or something. I never wanted you for anything other than pussy, but yet, you felt like I owed you so much loyalty.”
“I guess I can see what you don’t see, Sincere. We’re meant to be together. We could easily be the best power couple to ever come out of Dallas. I don’t know why you insist on fighting this shit with us so much.”
“Yeah, if you weren’t about to lose your life, I would definitely tell you to go seek some professional help.”
“What do you mean, lose your life?” She asked as the bullet pierced her forehead.
I wasn’t about to waste my time sitting around having a delusional ass conversation with her.
It was clear that getting through to her wasn’t going to work, and I’d already given her too many passes.
Besides, it didn’t matter what she had to say.
She was fucking with my woman’s peace, and for that reason alone, she had to go.
I didn’t bother to wait around for the cleanup crew to do what they needed to do with her body because she wasn’t worth the time.
I didn’t feel shit about taking Logan’s life.
Nor did I feel any kind of way about what they were about to do to make it look like she was the victim of a robbery gone bad.
In my book, she was one down, and I still had three more to go.
It took me about an hour or so to get to my next destination.
Next up was the cameraman that she had snap that stupid ass photo of us at my house.
I didn’t really have shit to say to him.
He chose to do the wrong job for the wrong person, and now it was going to cost him more than he could’ve ever planned for.
I also didn’t feel bad about killing him either.
He didn’t give a fuck about potentially ruining what I had with Kenedi, so all was fair in my opinion.
I felt as though he and Logan dealt the cards.
I was just reshuffling those motherfuckers to work in my favor.
“Mr. Hill, what are you doing here? In my house?”
I was already waiting on the couch for him to return home when he walked inside.
I knew from the people I had following him that he was at a bar and should’ve been arriving home any minute after I got there.
Since I had to wait, I figured it was best to meet his ass the moment he stumbled through the door.
I had other niggas to get at tonight, so I wasn’t going to waste too much time with his ass.
He was truly at the bottom of my hit list and didn’t deserve that much attention.
“I just came to tell you that you should probably think a little harder next time about who you decide to do business with.”
Throwing his hands up as I lifted my gun, I laughed as the pee ran down the front of his pants. Pussy ass nigga.
“Look, she told me that you were making her work to get you back, and that was all that I knew. I didn’t know that you had another woman, I swear.”
“Nigga, it doesn’t matter if you did or didn’t. You would’ve still done the same damn thing because it was all about the money.”
“Okay, you’re right. It was just business, never personal.”
“I can understand that. I hope that you know that this is just business and not personal for me, too,” I said, shooting him in both legs and once in the heart and head.
Just as I finished with him, I saw the cleanup crew parking down the block.
I had already given them the location of everyone that I needed them to come to once I was done with them.
There was only one person I hadn’t been able to locate, but hopefully I had eyes on his ass before the sun came up so that I could take care of his ass, too.
Jumping into my car, I headed to my next destination.
Now I was two down and two to go. These last two were going to take me a little bit longer than the first two because, unlike them, the shit was very personal, and I wanted to make sure those motherfuckers felt how much they’d truly pissed me the fuck off by trying to touch what was mine in more ways than one.
As I sat outside of his house waiting for him to open the door, I checked my phone to make sure I didn’t have any missed notifications.
I left Kenedi asleep in my bed, but there was no telling if she had woken up looking for me or not.
And I was still waiting for them to locate Ethan’s ass.
He had to go tonight if I could get my hands on him.
“Bingo,” I said, seeing him open the door. He was so preoccupied with the pussy standing in front of him that he didn’t pay attention to his surroundings. That was a mistake that would cost him his life.
Getting out of the car, I ran over to the door.
Just as I was about to step inside, he attempted to shut it with his foot as he held the two women around the waist, but I caught it.
I’d already had the security system he had set up turned off, along with his neighbors’, for the next few hours, so I wasn’t worried about anybody seeing me or catching me on camera.
“Before you get the party started,” I said, pushing the door open as he tried to close it.
“What the fuck?” He asked, looking between the women standing in front of him and me.
“We’re sorry, Ray. But he pays better,” one of them said as they smiled and left just as quickly as they came.
“You set me up, nigga?” He asked, backing into the house with his hands raised.
“Nah, I found your weakness and exposed it. You’re so blinded by pussy that you didn’t choose to ask any questions.”
“What the fuck do you want, huh? You’re here because you’re afraid that I’m starting to wear Kenedi down? You might have her for the moment, but I think we both know where her heart is,” he said, plopping down on his couch with a smirk that I was going to enjoy wiping off his face.
“Is that right?”
“That’s why you’re here, right? You want to talk about Kenedi? I told you that she didn’t belong to you before. So, did you come here to give me my bitch back?”
“Call her a bitch again,” I said, shooting his ass in the kneecap.
“Ah, motherfucker! Do you know who the fuck I am?” He asked, doing his best to fight back tears. Although he wasn’t fighting hard enough, because a few of them slowly ran down his cheek.
“I don’t give a fuck who you are. I know you won’t disrespect my woman again, nigga.”
“What the fuck did you come here for?” He asked, holding his knee. “If not to give her back, then what the fuck are you here for?”
“I came to send you back to your maker, motherfucker,” I said, shooting his ass again in his other knee.
“Ah, what the fuck? Wait, you’re going to kill me over Kenedi? She’s a good woman, but not good enough to lose my life over or you to get a murder charge for.”
“See, that’s where we differ when it comes to her.
She’s more than worth losing my life over.
I’ll give my life for her without thinking twice about it.
And besides, who said anything about me getting a murder charge?
” I asked, laughing as I shot his ass in both of his arms. He for sure wasn’t going to be playing any kind of sport in the next life.
Seeing him in pain brought a smile to my face.
I felt like I was getting the get back Kenedi deserved to have on this fuck nigga for how he did her.
“Alright, man, wait. I can give you money. You know I’m good for it.”
“Nah, I’m good. Besides, when it comes to money, I have a lot more of it than you do. See you in hell, motherfucker,” I said, emptying my clip into his chest.
As the cleanup crew walked up to the house, I waited for them to hit the porch so that I could break down what I wanted to happen once I left.
“Make it look like a gas leak, and I don’t want anything remaining in this motherfucker.”
“We got you,” they said, walking into the house to do what they did best.
After getting in touch with Mitch and realizing that I wasn’t going to be able to get a location on Ethan, I took my ass home.
Once I made my way into the house, I showered and slid right back into the bed with Kenedi.
She was so knocked out that she hadn’t moved from the position that I left her in, which was good for me.
Overall, the night had ended well. I now had three down, and one more to go.
