CHAPTER 32

Jennifer

She’d thought Kristina was beautiful from the moment she first saw her, and on their third night here, they were finally paired together.

Yes, she had had a good night with Helena earlier, but Helena had wanted someone else and had skipped dinner with the group to be with Becky, so that must be going well.

Gage had been an obvious no for her from the start, but the night they’d gotten paired together had confirmed that.

Then, there was Debra, Sharon, Carrie, and Becky, she supposed, but she doubted Becky and Helena would be spending a night apart from now on, so that left her with Debra, who Jennifer didn’t feel any kind of pull toward, Sharon, who was young and pretty but kind of reminded Jennifer of her ex-girlfriend in the face, so that would probably be a no, and Carrie, who seemed nice so far, but Jennifer had caught her staring at Gage over and over again since breakfast, and they were paired tonight, so Carrie might also be taken now.

She was left with Kristina, but it didn’t feel that way.

It felt good to have a night to explore what could be between them, and Jennifer wanted to see what would happen.

“So, cards?” she asked.

“Yeah, I’ll get them,” Kristina offered and then nodded toward the den. “Do you want to look around?”

“Why not?” she replied and headed in there, noticing that no one else seemed to be interested in looking at any of the new things Nia had added or any of the things that had already been there.

Jennifer was a fan of sex toys. She thought they could help people in the bedroom when used properly and if both parties agreed, of course.

“Oh, wow,” Kristina said. “That’s new.”

“What?” she asked and walked over to where Kristina was standing.

“Dice.”

“Huh?”

“It’s a dirty dice game,” Kristina said with a laugh, and Jennifer glanced over at her. “I’ve never played one of these before. It looks different than the ones I’ve seen. It’s paper.”

“Me neither. And what do you mean, paper?” Jennifer took the plastic package and noticed that Kristina was right. “Oh. It’s a do-it-yourself dice game, I guess. You have to fold these cardboard things into dice. Then, you can choose which ones to roll or roll all of them. Jesus, there are five.”

“Five?”

“Toys, time, body part, action, and location.”

“That’s a lot,” Kristina noted, laughing.

“Let’s bring it. Could be something fun to laugh about, at least. We can always leave out the toys or the location one since we’ll be in the bedroom.”

“True,” Kristina said. “But maybe we should see some of the things it says first.”

“Why?”

“In case we need to bring anything else from here.”

“Oh,” Jennifer said and turned the package over to see if there was a list of the possible options. “Nothing here. The things are covered up, too, so we’ll just have to open it, fold them up, and find out.”

“So, should we grab toys, then? While we’re here?”

Jennifer smirked at her and said, “Why not? That’s my new motto for this week.”

“Okay. I’ll grab a vibrator, maybe,” Kristina said.

“I’ll get a dildo and a harness.”

“Oh. She’s got a clitoral sucker here now. God, those are really good,” Kristina noted.

“You have one?”

“Yes. At home, obviously. Have you ever used one?”

“No,” she said. “I wasn’t sure if they were worth it.”

“They are,” Kristina replied and took it from the shelf. “Just in case.”

Jennifer smiled at her and wondered how it wasn’t weird to be sex-toy shopping with a woman she had only spoken a few words to, and none of them had been about sex because that still wasn’t allowed.

She followed Kristina into her room, and they set all of their recently acquired toys on the end of the bed.

Then, Kristina left the room for a moment, and Jennifer wasn’t sure what she was doing, so she just sat on the bed, placed the note cards next to her, and stared at their assortment of toys.

“Your drink was gin and tonic, right? I’ve seen you have a couple. I thought…”

Kristina held out a glass to her.

“Yeah, thank you,” she replied and took it from her. “I could’ve gotten us drinks.”

“Used to taking care of a lady?” Kristina teased.

“When I have one to take care of, yes. Do you not like being taken care of?”

“No, I do, but I also don’t mind being the one to take care of the woman I’m with.” Kristina sat down with a glass of her own and pulled two bottles of water out of her arm that had been pressed to her body. “Here you go.”

“Thanks. Want to fold some dice while we go through these questions?”

“Sure.”

“Okay. Read the first one while I open this thing.” Jennifer picked up the package, opened the plastic, and set the hard, flat paper on the bed. “You can see them now.”

“Oh, it’s tamer than I thought it would be, actually,” Kristina replied. “I guess I thought it would say, ‘Fuck your partner in a swimming pool with a dildo for fifteen minutes,’ or something.”

“Is that something you’d be into?” Jennifer asked her, swallowing.

“Pool sex? Not really, no. Not with a dildo, at least.”

“Yeah, water isn’t exactly good lube.”

“No, it’s not. Maybe with fingers, though.”

“Could be nice,” Jennifer agreed. “But instead, we got, ‘Nibble their navel in the shower with a blindfold for fifteen minutes.’”

“Who’s wearing the blindfold?” Kristina teased.

“I’d imagine the person whose navel is getting nibbled.”

Kristina laughed and said, “You were right: this is pretty fun.”

“We could also substitute some of these with things we might want instead.”

“Like what?”

“Do you have a pen?” Jennifer asked.

“You’re going to write on them?”

“I’ll buy Nia another one if she needs it,” she replied.

“Okay. Well, I don’t have a pen, but I do have a pencil. I… I’m lame, and I brought my music with me.”

“Music?” Jennifer asked.

“Sheet music. Blank. Well, not all blank; I’ve been writing a little when we have nothing to do here.”

“You write music?”

“I play the flute. I would call myself a flutist or flautist, which is the technical term for it that varies based on your geography, but people always look at me weird when I say that, so I just say that I play the flute.”

“Professionally?”

“In an orchestra. And I do lessons. I write music on the side, too, but it’s just for me.

Hold on.” Kristina got off the bed and moved to the small round table in the corner of the room that seemed totally out of place, but there were sheets of paper there along with a pencil.

Kristina picked it up and walked back over. “Here you go.”

“I love classical music,” Jennifer shared and took it. “I have season tickets to the symphony.”

“You do?”

“I try not to miss a show, but I’m a doctor in the ER, and I can’t always make my own schedule. That’s not going to be true for long, I guess.”

“What do you mean?”

“I’m finally done working in the ER. I’m starting a new job at a private practice when I get back. Pretty much normal business hours for me there, which means I’ll be able to make whatever shows I want from now on.”

“That’s great,” Kristina said.

“Yeah, it is. I used to play the cello. I stopped lessons when I was sixteen, realizing I had no real talent at it and that I wanted to be a doctor. That took up all my time after that, but I can read music. Any chance you’d let me read some of yours?”

“Oh, no.” Kristina shook her head. “It’s not even done and is bad. I just like to come up with some things, play them, and burn the sheet music after so that there’s no evidence.”

Jennifer laughed and said, “I’m sure it’s not bad.”

“Maybe later on the reading my music topic,” Kristina suggested.

“Okay. Well, what do you want on these things?” Jennifer asked and pointed the pencil toward the five different colored pieces of paper they needed to fold.

“Let’s start with locations. We’re in a bedroom, so not many options. Bed seems obvious, and there are six sides.”

“Use your imagination, Kristina,” she said and pointed around.

“There’s a wall. There’s the dresser. I bet I could have you up against that and take you from behind, or even be on my knees in front of you as you lean against it.

Then, we’d have to move your music, but there’s that table and that chair.

And you have floor-to-ceiling windows, not to mention the floor itself. ”

“Oh,” Kristina uttered, and Jennifer watched her smile. “Yeah. All… that.”

“So, I’m writing down wall, chair, table, dresser, window, and floor. Good with you?”

Kristina nodded, and Jennifer smiled at her before she wrote on the six sides.

“Next up is body parts.”

“Can we keep lips?” Kristina asked.

“Definitely. I also think we should keep thighs and neck, but maybe change chest to breasts since we both have them and it’s more specific.”

“And we need two more. There’s bottom.”

“Ass,” Jennifer read what was on that side already. “We can keep it, but I’m not one for most of that, just to put it out there.”

“Most?”

“Yes. Like, if I rolled lips on your ass, I’d be kissing it, but not…”

“Oh. Got it. Yeah, not my thing, either. Kissing it is fine, though. Rubbing, too; like with your palm. I’m not sure if I’d like spanking. I’ve never tried it, but probably not into it.”

“No problem. Then, there’s the obvious,” Jennifer said.

“Huh?”

“Pussy,” she replied.

“Oh, right.” Kristina laughed nervously. “That should go there.”

Jennifer wrote down the new options and asked, “Toys? They have a blindfold, ice, handcuffs, which I saw out there but didn’t grab, a massager, which I can only guess they mean a vibrator, a tickler, and heat.”

“How is heat a toy?” Kristina wondered. “And what’s a tickler?”

“I’m guessing like a feather. I don’t have a feather, but I’m sure there’s something else we could use to tickle each other. We already have ice in our drinks, and I’m down with the vibrator.”

“Me too,” Kristina replied. “Want to maybe swap the blindfold with dildo and handcuffs with the clitoral sucker? Heat can just be our mouths.”
