Poster Affixed to the Pub Noticeboard
Augustin Durant for mayor!
Augustin Durant has served the residents of Argleton and the surrounding county as a council member for the last ten years. He’s responsible, trustworthy, and utterly without personality dedicated to making Argleton the best place to live in England.
Augustin Durant stands for:
Strong leadership.
Responsible fiscal policy.
Sun protection.
Proper rosebush maintenance.
Tougher penalties for zoning violations.
Opposition to the late bus service, as it disturbs the night-time peace.
Tax breaks for landlords who install blackout curtains.
Coffin Manufacturer’s Appreciation Day.
Annual charity blood drive.
Smelling like a sweaty badger.
