Chapter 31
BETRAYED
Lunden paced back and forth in his living room while Bambi and Bria sat on the couch watching him lose his mind. Lunden was pissed that the girls were spending way too much of his money and was ready to cut them off completely.
After his breakup with Pretti, his life got out of hand. They were smoking up all his dope, spending his money, and trying to be the man of the house, so he was done. He wasn't doing business with Dexz anymore, so he was short on money.
When Lunden got the word that Dexz was shot up and in the hospital, he moved away to Connecticut with the girls to stay out of the way since he knew where the hit came from.
“You know what? Y’all bitches gotta go. Pack ya’ shit and get the fuck out my crib!” Lunden said firmly as he gazed at the girls he no longer loved.
“Deadass? You got us fucked up. We’re not leaving, and you got us way out here in the middle of nowhere.” Bambi crossed her arms.
“Deadass, bitch, and that’s word to my deads!” Lunden grabbed her by her long ponytail and pulled her off the couch.
“Lunden, stop!” Bria shouted as she pulled on his arm, trying to make him let Bambi go.
He dragged her up the stairs with Bria behind him, screaming and crying.
Things were fucked up between the trio, but the last thing Bria wanted to do was leave.
She loved Lunden and would do anything for him, but he wasn’t having it.
He didn’t want to hear anything about how much the girls loved him.
“Shut the fuck up, Bria, and pack ya’ shit! You cry too fuckin’ much like my ex! I’m tired of hearing that shit!” He pushed her into their walk-in closet, dragged Bambi in, and pulled out two pieces of luggage.
“Pack all y’all can in this damn luggage, so I can take y’all to the bus station. You think this shit is a game? Watch this.”
Lunden left his closet and grabbed his pistol.
When Bambi saw he got his piece, she wasted no time packing.
He got dressed and then took them to the bus station to go back to New York.
He forced them out, then burned rubber out of the parking lot.
Bria was so distraught; all she could do was cry, while Bambi stayed pissed about the whole situation.
“Don’t worry, Bria. We been together this long, so I’ma help you too. I know exactly who I can call.”
Bambi got on her phone and started looking for Burner on social media. She knew him well from going on runs with Lunden before him, and Dexz were beefing. She knew all the scoop and knew Lunden was the reason Dexz was fighting for his life. She also knew Burner had been looking for him.
Lunden had changed his number so nobody could contact him, but she was about to expose everything about him. It took her no time to find Burner online, send him a private message letting him know who she was, and then she shot him her number. Burner was blowing up her phone within minutes.
“Yeah, waddup? Now you say you’re who, and you know what?” Burner asked as soon as she picked up.
“My name is Bambi. I’m Lunden’s ex; you’ve met me before. I’m on my way back to New York now. If you want the dime on that nigga, I got it. Meet me at the Aloft in Harlem in two hours. I'll shoot you a text with my room number.”
“A’ight, but if this is a fucking setup, your ass is dead. You and that nigga, Lunden.”
“Nah, ain’t no setup, I got you. As long as you show up with a donation.” She smirked. She wanted her revenge, but she was looking to make some cash too.
“A’ight, text me when you get in town.”
They ended the call.
Bria and Bambi walked over to their bus that had just pulled up.
“So, are you really going to tell Burner on Lunden?” Bria asked as they sat on the bus, waiting for it to pull off.
“Hell yeah, fuck that nigga. Karma is a bitch.”
