Chapter One-Hundred-Thirty-Eight
Scarlett
When we get to the honeymoon suite a couple of hours later, it’s Kian who comes rushing into the main room to greet us. The place looks like some kind of fancy apartment. I knew it would be super luxurious when I saw the double doors down the corridor, but it’s so big it’s unbelievable.
Trick closes the door and locks it when he sees the key has been left on the other side.
“Where have you two been?” Kian complains. “We’re all together now, there’s not supposed to be any detours or … is that a new tattoo?”
Trick nods. “They have a tattoo place now. I got booked in for my hair tomorrow.”
Kian sighs. “So, you were getting a tattoo.”
“Yeah,” Trick says. “Remember we’re in a busy place now, Ki. If we’re out together, we’re out together. There’s nowhere private to get up to anything here. I mean, besides the suite.”
“I forgot about the mini-bar so I had to take the booze out and go back down to reception to give them the bottles and tell them not to refill it.”
“Good job doing that before Riley noticed.”
“Oh, he was in the room. But he thought it was funny so it’s fine.”
“Is he doing okay?” I ask, still a little concerned after the doctor’s office.
“Yeah. He went for a nap, and he’s been snoring ever since. Xane fell foul of the same idea, so it’s kinda noisy in the bedroom. They’re both snoring like bears.”
I stifle a yawn.
“Not you too!” Kian complains.
“Sorry. I was up crazy-early.”
“We’re all pretty tired,” Trick adds. “What’s the bed like? Tell me it’s group appropriate.”
“Oh, it’s gonna be perfect,” Kian enthuses, giving me a wink.
“Well, right now, it’s gonna be perfect for sleeping.”
“I kinda agree,” Trick admits.
We undress in the living room area, leaving our clothes on one of the armchairs.
“Maybe I shouldn’t have eaten the rest of my jelly beans,” Kian muses.
“Yeah, that sounds like it would keep you up.”
“It’s fine,” he says. “I’ll fall asleep when you guys do.”
It doesn’t seem likely, but he seems determined.
The bed is giant. It looks like three kingsized beds squished together.
Xane and Riley are both passed out in their clothes, on opposite ends.
I slip into the dead centre of the bed and under a single silky feeling sheet.
Trick moves in on my right side. Kian slips in at my left.
We’re all naked and covered up and there’s plenty of room between us, and the ends where Xane and Riley are crashed out.
It feels really fucking good to be in bed with them, even if we are just gonna sleep.
“I’m gonna have extra hard morning wood,” Kian says as he kisses my shoulder and then puts an arm around me. “Just gonna warn you now. It’s not a sharp stick poking you.”
I laugh. “I look forward to it.”
Trick groans. “Don’t talk about your dick. I’m trying to sleep.”
“It’s not my fault if you’re into it now,” Kian teases.
“Oh my God,” Trick murmurs. “Go to sleep, Ki.”
“That wasn’t a denial,” Kian whispers.
“Don’t make me think sexy thoughts when I’m too tired to do something about them.”
His eyes widen. “You’re into that?”
I laugh lightly. “Like you didn’t know. I’m into you both. Why wouldn’t I be into that?”
Trick’s arm wraps around me, and he kisses my cheek. “That’s why I did that stuff.”
“Me too,” Kian says.
I close my eyes as their quiet quarrelling stops, and it’s so easy to fall asleep with them surrounding me. I have four mates now, and they’re all mine.
It’s the best feeling I’ve ever experienced.
I’m never gonna let these guys go.
