40. Chapter 34
Kaylynn
I toss and turn. They’re dead. So many dead. Why? Is this my fault? Should I not have got up to leave? I just couldn’t stand it any longer. If I had to listen to one more word come out of that man’s mouth, I swear I was going to do something unpredictable.
I slowly open my eyes, and take a look around. I was definitely brought back to my bed. I have no clothes on, and I feel my body ache from the inside out, and then I look over to see Tommy staring at me, as if I hung the moon and the sun.
“Tommy, why are you smiling?” I ask. I slowly move my feet through the bedding, trying to find a cold spot. I hate when my feet are hot and stuffy.
“Because you are an amazing goddess. You are my mate and I am just so happy that the gods have sent you to me, that they have sent you to us .”
I smile back at him.
“You're going to be stuffed with all of our cum, and each time, I’m gonna put that pussy plug back into you, until you’re pregnant with our child. Got it Kay?” he says so nonchalantly like it’s no big deal.
“If that's what you want Tommy, I’ll give you anything.” I agree. “So, what’s going on today? I only remember pieces of last night. I have no idea what happened. I just know that I challenged my father.” I shrug my shoulders.
“Yeah, we have something in store for that.” Tommy gets up, pulling on his clothes that were laying in the chair. “Come on Kay, let’s get up. We have a full day ahead of us.”
“I think I’m just going to stay in bed all day.” I say as I smile. “I’m a little sore.”
“If you don’t get that fat ass out of bed baby Kay, I’m going to make sure you're sore for a week.” He winks, and I break out in laughter.
“Fine, I’ll be right down.” I throw my feet off the bed and head to the shower.
I start to think back to last night, when I just stood there looking at the people beneath my feet. I can’t let that happen again.
My Omega purrs as the hot water touches my skin. She’s been quiet lately. I wonder why. She was starting to really have an effect on me. I wonder if my Alphas’ father had something to do with it. I mean, since he kept insisting I have something to do with completing Syrup, it would make sense.
I’m rinsing out my shampoo, when all of the doors slam shut. Steel shutters come down, and lock over the windows. The alarms sound off, as I rush to end my shower.
“Shit.” Is all that comes out of my mouth.
“Intruder alert! Intruder alert!” Sounds off around me.
The intercom comes on, “Kay, listen to me very carefully please.” Mathew’s voice comes on next.
“The facility has been breached. After last night's charade, our father isn’t really too happy with things.” He sighs.
“He’s coming for you. We need to get you out, and then we will take care of him once and for all. ”
“You mean kill him right?” I ask so carelessly, like ‘what’s the weather’.
“Yes, baby Kay.” Is the only answer he gives me.
“Then, I want to do this with you. This is all my fault, not yours. I’m the one he wants, so let me help you guys.
” Silence fills the air. “Please for once in my life, I want to be useful. I have been nothing but pushed down for one reason or another. I want to feel like I’m good enough.
” I whimper. It hurts my heart even more to hear nothing but silence. Do they not trust me? Or believe in me?
“First off Kay, you're amazing, and I wouldn’t have my mate any other way. Second, fine … the guys will kill me, but it’s worth the fight. I want you to open your closet.”
“Ok.” I mumble out.
“Now, in there, you will see a black leather outfit, with a pink helmet. I want you to put this on, because it’s bullet, teeth, and claw proof.
” I just stand there in silence, listening.
“You’re lucky I can see you, or I would say no myself, but I have all my eyes on you, and will be with you through the whole thing.
Our compound is going to be locked up. Some of our men will be roaming and random booby traps will be put in place.
” His solemn voice lets me know this is not a joke.
“There’s a headset inside your helmet that I will be on.
I want you to wear this through until you reach us, ok? ”
“Yess …. Whatever you need I’ll do.” I take the leather outfit, and change into it as fast as possible. I have too much hair, so I place it up in a bun, before putting on the helmet.
“Ok, good job Kay. You look amazing by the way. Ok, now this is where you need to listen to me, and do exactly as I say. It may sound weird, but I have my reasons.” I go to turn the handle to leave, but wait for more instructions.
“I’m going to guide you towards the others.
They are taking care of our dad, and what following he has left on his side from last night.
I stayed back since I’m best with surveillance.
Just please don’t forget you must listen to what I have to say, even if it sounds weird, just do it, okay? ”
“Yes, I got it.” I respond back.
“Okay, on the right side of the door, you’re gonna see a keypad. I want you to put in the following numbers, 1-0-1-3. Then it’s going to need to scan your eye.”
I go over to the keypad, putting in 1-0-1-3, and a beam of light comes out to scan my eye.
“Kaylynn is granted access.” The door slams open with a pink sound.
“Okay, I want you to take four steps, and then you’re going to lay on the floor.” I carefully move forward, counting 1-2-3-4, and then I drop to the floor. A torch comes out and disintegrates everything in its path.
“Oh shit.” I gasp. “What was that ?” Thank the gods I have a tint on this shield that covers my eyes.
“That is what we call deteriorate, baby Kay. I told you this place is laced up with booby traps. There’s a lot more.”
I lick my lips. Let’s just hope I don’t get struck with anything. I shake my head and try to concentrate. Where is my fierce Omega when I need her.
You got this. I'm always here, even when you think I’m not.
“Kay you need to jump up, then step to your left, and then roll to your right. Please do it fast, because you only have five seconds.”
I do exactly as I’m told, jumping up, step to my left then roll to my right. The sharpest daggers I have ever seen, start flying everywhere. Phew.
“You're doing amazing Kay. I wouldn’t expect anything less from my mate, and with the ass of a goddess.” He groans. “Ok, there are men walking up those stairs you see in front of you. I want you to run, and hit the wall. It will take you to a different area.”
Wait, did I just hear him right? He wants me to run and hit a wall, praying it works.
“It will. You just have to trust me.”
“Wait, how did you hear that?” I ask.
“I think the links are opening up or you are finally starting to accept that you’re an Omega and we are your Aphas. Let’s talk more when you're safe, ok?”
I nod, as if he can see me.
“You know I have cameras everywhere right? I see everything. There’s no escaping from me, baby Kay.”
A few men come up the stairs, and they take one look at me, immediately changing into their wolves. I run right straight for the wall, then it’s shaking so hard, and I just pray. The wall flips, and I’m looking down a whole different hallway.
“Whoa.” I’m dazed. That was crazy. I start to hear the ongoing fight. Looking around, I run down and turn to see a full on battle.
“Kay you need to be careful.” Mathew warns me.
“I will be, I just want to help.” Spit and blood fly, as fangs rip into bodies. Claws extract, taking eyes and limbs with them. This is the time I really wish I could turn.
The moment my mates, my Alphas, realize I’m here, they start to form a circle around me.
“Let me help. This is what I want. I don’t care that I can’t shift, I want to prove my worth.” I want to prove myself. I’m so much more, and I just need them to realize that. They nod in their partial shifts, half human, half wolf. I honestly think it’s really hot.
“Focus Kay, Keep your eye on the prize!” Tommy warns.
“Got it Sir.” I snicker.
“Keep talking like that, and this Sir will have you over their leg.” Tommy smirks with his remark.
“Only if you promise.” I sass back to him.
“Kay, I mean it.” He growls.
“Ok, yes !” I walk around slowly, trying to not get caught up in any fighting.
I look around, spying what looks like someone hiding behind a plant box. I pull back the flap on the helmet.
“Fancy seeing you here.” I seethe at my father. Trying to keep my disgust down, I gently pull him up.
“You should leave while you still can.” He tells me.
“What, and leave my mates behind?” I’m really trying to figure him out. There always seems to be something.
“They aren’t your mates Kaylynn. Wake up, you aren’t anything important.” His rough voice brings me back.
It’s so cold and I have nothing but a thin blanket.
“Kaylynn, get down here.” My father yells.
He smells rancid, like he just crawled out of sewage.
“Yes father?” I look at him, his eyes are blood shot.
He’s been drinking. “You need to make me dinner, I'm hungry.” “Father, it's 2 am.
I have homeschool in the morning, I protest. “What did you just say to me? I should have left you starving on the streets when I found you.” He smashes my face into the nasty carpet, and rubs my head into it.
“I am superior to you, just remember that.”
The memory fades, and all I see is red. “You're not even my father, are you?”
“What do you mean? I fed you, clothed you, didn’t I?” He insists.
“Barely, you did the bare minimum, to keep me alive. I was an asset for you, nothing but a pay day.” I’m seething. My Omega even comes out to play.
He did it.
“You suppressed my Omega. Turned me into some commodity for your well-being, not for me. A father loves and cherishes their children, but I’m not your own child.
I remember that one night when you called me down, you had said something about finding me.
” My face I’m sure is turning bright red, and I swear the heat just rose by 20 degrees.
“Kay, calm down.” Mathew comes over the headset.
“No one wanted you anyways. I saved you from a life that you would’ve died at a young age.
You would’ve had no food or home, no one at all, but me.
I did all of this for you. I gave you a place to stay, I gave you food, I gave you a house.
I did that.” He starts swinging his hands around at me, like a mad man.
Back up. It’s time we hold up our promise on our challenge.
“You are a fool. You made me believe things were a certain way in my life, when really, you just stole me out of one existence, to put me into another. You’re wrong, because these are my mates, so for that, I do thank you for bringing them to me, but other than that, you’re nothing to me. It’s time we start this challenge.”
Howls break out around the room, and a circle starts to form around me.
“I'm done with you, and I’m done with all of this. You have done nothing but hurt me time and time again. I was never yours to begin with, and instead of giving me a great life, you chose to use me for your own gain, I’m so done with you.
” Howls break out of my mouth, as my head shoots up to the sky.
My skin is so on fire at this point, that no one can even touch me.
It would burn you. I feel my bones start to creek and adjust. There are popping noises, and bones locking.
Something is going on. This isn’t right.
It's me.
“No, this isn’t right, she can’t be. She can’t turn, I made sure of that. I did everything I could to make sure her wolf would never come forward.” My father shouts out.
My Alphas all come towards me. They reach their hands out, and start stroking my head, my back, my arms and legs.
“You got this baby Kay. It’s ok let go, your Omega needs you, just listen to her.” Mathew coaxes. Zach reaches for the helmet and takes it off.
“You're changing Kay. You need to let her come through. Just relax, your mates are right here. We won’t let anything happen.” Zach coos.
I feel so sick, almost like I have the flu. I think I’m going to vomit, my head starts to spin. The tearing of skin and muscle has me freaking out.
“You’re fine Kay, this is normal. It’s your first change, and it was brought on abruptly.” Andrew holds my head, so he’s all I can see. I stop paying attention, and relax within his embrace.
Fur starts sprouting, claws start coming out of my hands, and things extract from my mouth, in the blink of an eye. I’m no longer human. My wolf is beautiful. She is snow white, with glistening blue diamond eyes.
Before I know it, I am running, and pounce right on my so-called father. He changes to a muddy brown wolf, who looks like it’s seen better days.
My Omega laughs. Do you see this jackass?
I look and do a double take. I can see every hair follicle, and every thread count. I can see the specs on the walls, hear a little mouse I think somewhere outside. My senses have all heightened. I shake my head. This is crazy.
A woosh comes across my face, and I look over right as a giant black wolf comes at me, his eyes are as dark as coal. He roars with all his power, before I charge him. My claws go to slash his throat, just as he catches me, taking my paw into his, and squeezes. I yelp out in pain.
My alphas jump out of nowhere. Mathew must have made it, because four beautiful wolves come to my rescue.
My Omega purrs with excitement. We need to show them who their omega really is.
I snarl and show my teeth. I warn my Alphas’ back from me, trying my hardest to push out through the mind link.
Ok Kay, we will let you be for a second, but the moment another one of your white hairs gets touched, it’s game over! Andrew hisses through each word in my head.
I bounce back up, and lunge back at my supposed father.
He tries to go for my throat, but I’m too fast for him.
The black wolf comes at me again in a flash, leaving a scratch across my face.
That’s when all hell brakes loose. Blood and spit start flying, howls echo through the room, along with the sounds of muscles being mutated.
I get the smallest chance and I take it.
I tear straight into my supportive fathers throat.
One of my mates comes up beside me and assists in dismantling my father’s head.
I feel like I will never be safe, until he and my Alphas’ father are gone!
Blood squirts across my face and I howl in victory!
My omega sits back, and starts to clean her paws and legs.
