41. Chapter 35
Zach
Kay’s white as snow fur has hints of red added from the blood.
Our Omega, she’s such a beauty in action, so strong.
My father looks at me, as I growl, showing my teeth.
It’s time! My brothers’ and I all leap on him at the same time, tearing into fur and skin.
We can’t afford to have him live another day, unless we want to see Kay go through all kinds of hell.
With one finale blow, he crumbles to the floor.
Settling down, I start to change back into my human form.
“Kay baby.”I slowly start to stroke her. “It’s ok to change back now.”
She looks up into my eyes and licks my face.
“We have to get going, clean up is on the way.” I tell her.
She looks around, taking in the full scene. Wolves and humans are scattered all over the floor, blood splatters from the floor to the ceiling, and chunks of fur are laying around our feet. The scene is quite gruesome, so I pick her up, and she starts to change back slowly in my arms.
“I'm so sorry, but we have to now get ready for the ceremony. Now that my father’s not here, I have fully taken over.”
Kaylynn
The stench of blood lingers in the air. It’s either that, or I feel like it could be lingering in my nose.
Wherever it is, it’s disgusting, and I need to go take a shower.
Zach told me that there’s another ceremony tonight, I have a special outfit that’s laying out for me, and of course I have my mask.
It’s just like the guys’ mask, but it’s pink with rhinestones, which I’ve come to love so much.
I love how I feel so a part of them now.
I get ready, almost losing my shit on the outfit that’s picked. No way. No, I can’t. My mouth opens and shuts, as I look around the room. This has to be a prank, right? Where are the clothes?
“Kay, put it on. It’s part of the ceremony.” Mathew comes over the speakers.
“Fuck that.” I hold it up in the air to inspect it, flipping it from one side to the other. “You know, I’m pretty much gonna be on show to the whole entire society, right?”
“Kay, you know that we will kill everyone. You have to wear this because it’s part of our tradition, unfortunately. I’m not even happy about it. I mean, I would love to see you in it, but I hate that anyone else gets to.” Mathew growls into my room.
“Fine, I’ll put it on. I'll see you in the pit in a little, if I can even walk in these shoes, you gave me. What am I supposed to be?”
“Just get it on!” Mathew growls.
I mean, if this is really what they want me to wear, I guess I’m gonna have to wear it for this. It’s black, but the outfit is completely see-through, with an opening where my crotch goes. I’ll look over at the dresser and I find a sweet little note from my mates.
Don’t worry about tonight, baby Kay you will be amazing like always. We thought that you would want your favorite cookies, chocolate chip raisin, with a coffee you love. We love you. See you tonight. Signed your mates, always and forever!
I carefully put the outfit on, with the ridiculous shoes.
I take them off, and throw them to the side.
I’m not wearing those. I take the coffee and the cookie, both of which are my favorite, and I drink the coffee down and eat the whole entire cookie.
Before I know it, I start to feel so tired, so I decide to lay in the bed and just close my eyes for a little bit.
