Chapter 11
ELEVEN
Sam woke with no clue what the time was. Wolfgang’s head lay on Sam’s chest and his arm draped over his stomach, which let out a rumble.
It must be late afternoon.
Wolfgang had fallen asleep almost immediately after they’d snuggled down together.
His window faced the rear of the building, which had a yard used by the bar below.
This made it so much quieter than Sam’s room which had everyone hollering on the street to contend with.
That would teach him for being greedy and picking the bigger room.
Wolfgang murmured in his sleep and held Sam tighter. “You are hungry,” he said, his breath tickling Sam’s chest. “I won’t let you go though.”
“Surely you want me at full strength?”
Wolfgang kissed Sam’s chest and ran his hand up his body. His hand playing with Sam’s nipple. Sam closed his eyes and sank into the moment. “I would smash my head on a motor again if I knew I had this waiting for me.”
Sam opened one eye. “Don’t say that. You have no idea how worried you made me.”
“I’m not surprised you were so concerned. You being my husband, after all.”
Sam chuckled. “You heard about that then?”
“I did. I mean, it’s a little early. I will say, if I did have a husband, I would be a happy man if he rode me like that.”
He stole a kiss. Sam couldn’t escape the fact he would never get across to Wolfgang how terrified he’d been.
“You are a decent man, Sam. I owe you so much that I can never repay.”
Okay, well maybe he did get it. “Oh, I’m pretty sure you can think of some things.”
Wolfgang extracted himself from Sam’s arms and jumped on top of him. Sam wrapped his legs around Wolfgang’s waist. The muscular weight of him bearing down on Sam made him gasp.
“The head is getting better then,” Sam said, squirming with delight.
“There is only one head I’m interested in.”
Wolfgang kissed Sam’s neck. His cock hardening as he pushed his hips toward Sam. This in turn made his spring to life.
Sam was enjoying a more assertive Wolfgang. It suited him. He pinned Sam’s arms above his head and kissed his armpit. The sensitivity making Sam judder.
“You are so gorgeous,” he whispered in Sam’s ear. “Show me everything I’ve been missing out on.”
That this impossibly sexy man needed a tutor couldn’t be a hornier prospect.
“Very well,” he said, struggling to get free. “Lie face down.”
He did what Sam told him, his solid ass just waiting there. Sam’s cock ached as he knelt on the bed. He stroked Wolfgang’s feet.
“Ah, that’s ticklish,” he said, squirming.
With the edges of his nails, Sam traced shapes on Wolfgang’s ankles. He took his time exploring every vein and muscle. Slowly he moved to the calves and onto his thighs. Gooseflesh appeared on Wolfgang’s skin even though the room temperature had them sweating.
Sam shifted to reach better. He explored Wolfgang’s thighs and up farther, making the German shudder when he reached the cheeks of his arse. The moans coming from the pillow told him all he needed to know.
Wolfgang’s muscles were so tight. Sam’s cock stood to attention at the mere sight of him.
He kissed Wolfgang between the shoulder blades, nuzzling his surprisingly soft skin.
Whilst Sam could’ve stayed there all day, he had other goals in mind.
Planting soft kisses, he traced his way down Wolfgang’s spine. And he didn’t stop there.
“Oh God, what are you…”
Sam had suspected Wolfgang probably hadn’t experienced this before. Even more of a turn-on. Making him find Wolfgang’s hole and licking hard, causing him to convulse. Sam allowed himself a smile as he once again buried his face in Wolfgang’s ass.
“Das sich so gut anfühlt.”
Sam gripped Wolfgang’s hips to keep total control. Gently, he shifted Wolfgang onto his knees. His mouth watering as he dove his tongue inside. Wolfgang reached under and massaged his own cock.
Sweat beaded on Sam’s forehead. He slapped Wolfgang’s butt cheek with one hand and palmed his own dick.
“Let me see,” he whispered.
Wolfgang sat up, his back against Sam’s chest, who kissed Wolfgang’s neck. They were both focused on coming. Sam steadied Wolfgang with an arm around his waist.
Wolfgang let out a grunt and his body shook violently. Sam was behind him. The white-hot pleasure flooding his system as he came. He gripped Wolfgang’s solid torso harder as he lost himself in the moment.
Once they had stilled, they both flopped onto the bed, panting.
Wolfgang opened his arms for Sam to snuggle against him.
The breeze coming in from the open window doing nothing to cool them down.
Workmen hollered to one another in the street below, but they seemed so far away they might as well be on another planet.
“The others will be home soon, “Sam said.
He didn’t want to burst the bubble. He also didn’t want to be caught literally with his trousers down.
“Can’t we be quiet and they will think we are out?”
Sam kissed the top of Wolfgang’s head, carefully avoiding the problem area. “You haven’t been great at staying quiet today.”
Wolfgang giggled and pulled him closer. “You can’t blame me for wanting you to myself a little while longer.”
Sam had no intention of going anywhere if he could help it.
“Let’s face it,” Wolfgang continued, “Genevieve will go straight to her room and the invisible leash she has around Paul’s neck will drag him after her.”
Sam leant his head up. “You don’t like them?”
“It’s not that. I don’t understand why they have to do everything together. She is jealous of his every move. I wonder how she manages in restaurants when she can’t follow him to the bathroom and hold it for him.”
Sam traced shapes on Wolfgang’s hairless chest. “So that’s two accounted for,” he said. “Now all we need to do is tell Astrid there’s a coachload of men being dropped off at the Blue Boar and she’ll be off in a shot.”
“Closely followed by the mouse, Maria.”
It had been agony to not have anyone to share these observations with. The idea that he might have someone to confide in for the rest of the summer and maybe even beyond gave Sam a whole new perspective.
“I thought I’d drawn the short straw getting you and squid. Now I can see I’m a winner.”
Wolfgang playfully tapped him on the arm. “How rude.”
“I think you can admit that we didn’t get off to the best start.”
After a second’s pause, Wolfgang met Sam’s gaze. “I think we were meant to have some fire. What’s better than a little heat to kick things off?”
Kick things off?
What did that mean? Did he think they were going somewhere too. Sam refused to be the kind of guy who needed guarantees. Desperation had never been an attractive quality. Something about having this muscleman in his bed made him want to know that he wouldn’t lose it. Not for a while anyway.
“Tell you what,” Sam said. “How about I go and get supplies from the baker and deli that you like? I’ll tell the others you’re sleeping and I’m working. They won’t know any different.”
Wolfgang cuddled him tight. “Then we can stay in our own world?”
Sam struggled free. “We can stay in our own world IF you keep the noise down.”
He jumped off the bed and put on the shorts and T-shirt he’d thrown off so readily hours before. Wolfgang stretched, his muscles contracting.
“Don’t move,” Sam said. “You’re so hot. I’ll be as quick as I can.
” He kissed him. At the door he glanced over his shoulder.
Wolfgang really did look incredible, lying there naked waiting for Sam.
With some difficulty, he forced himself out of the door and bounded down the stairs.
Almost colliding with Astrid coming out of the kitchen.
“Oh you’re in,” she said, clutching her chest. “How’s Wolfie?”
Instantly Sam’s back was up. What did she know? Had she heard them? Then he realised none of their flatmates knew Wolfgang had been let out of hospital.
“He’s asleep upstairs,” Sam said. “They discharged him from hospital this morning. They said he needs rest. What are you two up to?”
Peering into the kitchen, Sam found Maria apparently burning a selection of vegetables in an alarmingly smoky pan. Astrid went in and took it out of her hand. She threw it into the sink where the cold water produced a cloud of steam.
“We’re going out to dinner,” she said. “Want to come?”
Sam pretended to be tempted. “I’d better not. I promised Wolfgang I’d get him some bits from the shop.”
Astrid winked at Maria. “There will be wedding bells in Squid Towers before long.”
She had no idea how close to the truth that comment was. Whilst Sam had no intention of getting married anytime soon, he could be persuaded to enjoy a wedding night.
He grabbed his bag from the chair. “Come on. I’ll walk with you. Where are you heading?”
“Into the old town,” Astrid said. “Did you see that new waiter at Del Mar?”
Sam shook his head. She was a trooper, he’d give her that. Maria paused by Genevieve and Paul’s door.
“Should we ask them?”
They stopped to listen. Genevieve was wittering on about something or other. Sam imagined poor Paul patiently waiting until she’d finished before he resumed watching TV or whatever they did in there.
“Maybe not,” Maria said, answering her own question.
They set off down the stairs and spilled out onto the pavement. As always people were cramming the tiny street. Sightseeing or going about their daily business.
“I’m heading to the bakery,” he said. “I want churros.”
Maria flicked him on the temple. “They’re for breakfast, you heathen.”
“I want what I want,” he fired back, returning the flick. “See you later.”
Or not.
Walking on air, he bought a few tasty treats from shops on the way to his destination. The woman behind the counter beamed when she saw him walk in.
“Ah. I see you are going crazy for our pastries,” she declared.
Sam felt himself redden. Had he been coming in that much? He patted his stomach and winked whilst making a mental note to keep up the jogging even while Wolfgang recuperated.
Out on the street, he picked up the pace. Firstly because he couldn’t wait to get home and secondly he was being recognised in bakeries.
After buying a bottle of wine from the bar underneath their abode, he jogged up the stairs.
Everything seemed quiet when he returned to their revolting rooms. He tiptoed past the other doors, in no mood for any more interruptions. He remained laser focused ona naked Wolfgang. Once again Paul and Genevieve’s television blared out.
She’s finally run out of things to say. For now.
He silently wished Paul a peaceful evening.
Once up on the third floor, he couldn’t wipe the grin off his face. He’d never been the romantic type, which might be the reason why most of his relationships floundered as quickly as they started. Surely a naked picnic would feature high on the romance scale.
He flung the door open.
“I hope you’re decent. And if not, even better.”
The last two words left his mouth as a whimper.
Wolfgang sat in the bed where Sam had left. Now he had a few more guests for the party. A man in his late fifties stood by the window and a woman of the same age sat in the chair Sam had hung his undies on. A young woman of similar age to Sam perched on the bed with Wolfgang’s hand in hers.
His heart drumming a hardcore house beat in his ear, Sam looked from one to another before landing on a sheepish Wolfgang who shifted uncomfortably.
“Ah, Sam. I’d like you to meet my mother and father,” Wolfgang said.
Sam stared at both of them. His mother beamed back.
“I’m very pleased to meet you,” Sam said. “And is this your sister?”
The girl laughed. “Wolfgang, you tell people nothing about yourself.” She got up and held her hand out to Sam.
“I’m Claudia. Wolfgang’s fiancée.”
