Chapter 11 The Recording Surprise

I had guessed that the last words from Xie Yiran were definitely not an accusation.

But they were a signal to start fighting.

But I didn't expect it to come so quickly.

The day before National Day, my dad called me.

"Your mom is in the hospital, come home quickly!"

I rushed home on leave in a panic.

On the way, my heart raced with fear.

When I opened the door with red eyes, my mom was sitting on the sofa as if she couldn't get up.

She glared at me, and the chicken feather duster in her hand twitched.

I called out in my heart, oh no.

I turned, and my dad locked the door.

"Dad, Mom, what are you doing?"

"How dare you ask! Look at what you've done!"

I followed my mom's gaze and finally noticed the other person on the sofa.

Xie Yiran.

His long limbs were tucked in the corner, making the space seem cramped.

His head was slightly lowered, black messy hair scattered over his forehead, blocking his view.

He looked especially pitiful.

I was stunned, then roared.

"What are you doing here at my house!"

My mom slapped me.

"You did something wrong, and now you have the face to shout at others?"

"What did I do wrong!"

Seeing it about to turn into another argument, Xie Yiran finally raised his head.

His eyes were slightly red.

"Mom, don't scold her. It's my fault..."

"Good child, stop speaking for her. Let me teach her a lesson properly!"

Their dialogue made me fume.

"You two, say it! What did I do wrong!"

My dad silently picked up the phone on the tea table and tapped it.

Then unbearable sounds came out.

"Xue Ling, you were drunk."

"I couldn't understand, I just wanted to kiss."

"Do you know who I am?"

"Yes."

"Do you remember when you wake up tomorrow?"

"Yes."

"You—"

My anger vanished.

I collapsed on the sofa and closed my eyes in shame.

Damn it, this scumbag even recorded!
