Chapter 3

TASIM

"The fuck got yo panties in a bunch."

"Fuck you nigga."

"I'm just saying shit. I got a whole mothafuckin nigga right here screaming and you over there in La La Land." Kasim stopped his blow torch and looked over to his brother.

"You ain't ready to just kill this nigga.

I'm tired of his ass." Tasim looked at Kasim ignoring the fact that he was in distress over Norah.

It had been nearly two weeks and she hadn't answered a single call.

A part of him wanted to just blow her fucking head off and move on with his life then the other part of him wanted to just fuck again.

Or at least that's what he tried to convince himself.

Norah was growing on Tasim. To the point he could see himself really fucking with her.

Kasim and Dallas weren't making his situation any better because every time he was in their presence, they'd be so head over heels over one another he began to crave it.

That's what I could do.

Tasim thought, jumping to his feet.

"You don't think it's time Dallas sees her friend?" Tasim asked while mustering up a plan in his mind.

"Nah. I don't want Dallas around nobody."

"Man. that's her best fucking friend. You can't just keep that girl trapped in this damn dungeon forever."

"And why the fuck I can't? Who gone tell me no? Who the fuck gone stop me?" Kasim held the torch into the air and released the fire to antagonize his brother.

"Ain't nobody scared of yo lil blow torch cuh." Tasim joked around but was serious. Nothing in the world put fear in him especially not a nigga with a torch.

"I said no already. So, either you wanna watch me torch this nigga knee off or get the fuck on so I can meditate." Tasim stood there shaking his head. This nigga was really a Kingly and the worst one. He knew his brother was serious and that's what made him even more strange.

"Fuck you and yo meditation. I'm out."

"Bye Lance." Kasim slid his didymium goggles over his eyes dismissively.

Mumbling under his breath Tasim left the basement ready to go against Kasim’s wishes.

This was the only thing he could think of to get Norah back to the Dynasty.

He knew it would be easy to just go into her home, put his pistol in her face but he didn’t want problems with Mama.

He didn’t give two fucks about war with Dragon, it was Mama he held respect for.

Instead of going into Kasim’s room, he took the elevator down to the one person he’s been trying hard to avoid; Mr. Kingly.

He knew his pops was gonna ask tons of questions.

The problem was, could he answer them with a straight face?

Mr. Kingly was sharp when it came to reading people.

He could remember several conversations about Kasim & Dallas before even he knew Kasim was getting soft for her.

"Sonnnn!" Mr. Kingly smiled. "You're just in time.

This is Arnold Ocha, he just copped 100 bricks and is going upstairs.

" His wide smile already told Tasim what his pops was up to.

Tasim began sizing the guy up and he knew by his cargo pants that he was a cornball ass nigga with money.

Shy would score with him with little to no effort.

"Wus up." Tasim hit the guy with a head nod. His father boiled quietly due to Tasim's hood demeanor he hated so much.

"How are you son?" The guy tried to shake Tasim's hand. Tasim looked at him as if he was crazy..

"I ain't yo son. But I'm good." He took a seat and the room fell silent. Just in time, one of the escorts walked into the room to take the guy up to the room. Mr. Kingly turned to look at his son knowing something was weighing heavy on him.

"What’s up with you?" Mr. Kingly asked, trying to sound hood. Tasim knew he was being sarcastic but he let it go.

"Shit just checking in with you."

"Cool." again silence. "So how was the pussy?" he chuckled.

"She was cool. I'm good on that bitch tho." Tasim thought of the way Norah played him. Before he could recant his statement, his father was on his ass like scales on fish.

"Don't tell me you're on some weird shit like your brother falling in love with this hood slut."

"I ain't falling in love with shit. And if I was, she ain't a slot winner so why does it matter?"

"It matters because I didn't raise you dumb ass niggas to be wifing these bitches. You and your brother are messing up my entire operation with this dumb love shit." Mr. Kingly shook his head agitated.

"Why is it always dumb love shit? You don't know shit about love because you never loved moms. You trapped in your father’s shoes and trust me the stories I've heard that nigga had grandma selling more pussy then a Figuero hoe."

"That's none of your damn business." Mr. Kingly fumed.

"I bet it ain't." Tasim stood to his feet smiling tauntingly. He gave his father a look of disgust before heading out the door. He was on a mission and one thing he wouldn't do was let his pops fuck it up for him.

Tasim strolled down the hall to Kasim's room knowing Kasim was still in the basement torturing Big Boy's body.

He knocked twice then pushed the red button to be let inside.

Tasim knew that Kasim would be pissed but he didn't give a fuck.

Kasim found love so he was straight. Tasim felt like he was soul searching so he needed to get Norah here somehow some way.

"Hey Tasim."

"Yo ass always sitting in the same spot. You ain't ready to get the fuck out of this place?"

"Well I'm kinda used to being here now. One of the guards took me out for dinner so I finally got out." Dallas smiled.

"Oh word. That's what's up. Yall should be leaving soon." Tasim assured because he knew they were going to the house soon. She and Kasim had discussed them leaving to go live in his home but first he had something important to do so all Dallas could do was wait it out.

"So how is he?" Dallas asked because whatever it was Kasim was up to he was distant.

"He straight. He should be done with that shit soon." Tasim made sure to choose his words wisely. Dallas had no clue about him holding Big Boy against his will and torturing him. "Norah." was all Tasim said then looked for a reaction.

"My best friend. Is she okay?" Dallas's eyes widened with fear that something was wrong with Norah. She even thought of them possibly holding Norah captive just as they had done her.

"Nah ma, nothing like that. She came by looking for you but you know how Kasim is. I wanted to ask you first, were you ready for the world. I mean I know you have to miss your family."

"Yes. Hell yes. I spoke to my mother but not Norah.

I think I'm ready. It's just a difficult situation because I know she has so many questions I can't answer.

" Dallas looked at Tasim and he nodded. He definitely understood because she couldn't expose the things that went on behind closed doors in the Dynasty.

"Yeah I feel you. Well, I can bet she may come back so just figure out what you gone tell her. If she comes, I'll let her up."

"Okay. Thank you and I will. I miss her like crazy.

" Dallas smiled. Tasim remained quiet and this was his cue to leave.

He was gonna pull up to her crib and see if he could just catch her maybe getting into the car.

That or he would kick in the door and drag her ass out.

One way or another Norah was gone hear him out because he definitely had some shit to say.
