“Whore.”

“Little slut.”

“I bet you’re thinking of my cock inside you right now.” Their words all filtered in, but I wasn’t processing them like I normally would.

The air in my lungs kept feeling trapped the more I felt myself dying. My body wanted to give in. Death, a sweet mercy I hadn’t been afforded, but my body tried to gift it to myself in a way that would save me from any more of this madness.

One kick after another, the men surrounding me had their fun, jerking to their cruelty.

Hurting me turned them on. I moved past the point of feeling disgust over it.

Instead, I studied the rotted corpse of the dead man by the window, seeing how many months went by for him to wither so much.

He’d been the first clue this was the promise of my new life.

Each man began to spurt their load all over me, grunting as they kicked me harder.

I barely felt their hot seed against my side as I pretended none of this happened.

This was how I knew I finished living. I usually felt satisfaction when the men left me in my room, but a hollowness found me instead.

Covered in their juices, I was soaked in cum.

It surprised me they did something new today, standing around me as they all jerked off to shoot it all over me, degrading me with their challenging tongues.

Some even kicked me as I lied in the fetal position to ignore what was happening.

Weeping, they laughed at my broken state.

They found it amusing that I spat my blood at their feet, coughing a little more up after my rebuttal.

To make things worse, I could hear the rats below my room.

They were eating and scraping against the wood as though they wanted access to the filth inside. I had no doubt they did.

The third day arrived, and I hadn’t seen Damien since I told him my conditions.

Now that I lied alone in my pool of blood, I knew I wasn’t going to survive much more.

Saul didn’t use me like I planned, but he didn’t let me recover either.

They formed their circle of degradation and beat the shit out of the rest of my body, waiting for my vagina to heal.

Bukkake, the word one of them used for the shit they did, and I knew I’d never like that word again.

The door swung open, seeing a frightened Damien on the other side.

His eyes were wide, concerned, based in the details his father gave him for my repair.

I blinked slowly at him, calculating how he had left me for so long.

Turning my head over while I was on my stomach, I also didn’t want to give him my time of day.

No more tears could be shed. I just wanted to die and be done.

I wanted to join the others in the river, crying with the wind for the loss of a good life.

“Kit,” he breathed. Closing the door, he made sure the men behind him weren’t paying attention. Diving at my side, he saw how unresponsive I was to his touch. Typically, I let him hold and coddle me, but a waste now. He wasn’t doing anything to make it permanently better.

Cleaning me up, he didn’t say much. Sitting upright, I winced as he wrapped my ribs with a bandage.

I never let my eyes turn his way as I endured getting put back together.

Everything he did felt repetitive, so I grew used to the disgruntled motions my body forced me to do as he fixed me up to be a puppet again.

“I’ve loosened the floorboards from below,” he whispered to keep this news between us.

That was enough to make me look at him. The corner of his mouth lifted, but the smile didn’t meet his miserable eyes.

“It took me a few days to do it quietly, and I could only come by when my father wouldn’t see me doing it. ”

“What’s the plan? Do I just crawl out and run?” I questioned. “What about my shackle?”

Damien dug into his pocket like he just remembered he had the key.

Handing it to me, I literally held my freedom in my hand.

Swallowing hard, I couldn’t believe Damien managed to do all of this without his father knowing.

My previous thoughts of him betraying me deceived my faith in him, making me hate myself even more.

“No, wait until Hank does his check on you. That way, my father can’t say I was the last to see you. If you attack Hank when he comes in, they’ll later believe that’s how you got the key, but he’ll hit you when you do that.”

“One hit to never be hit again?” I scoffed. “That’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.”

“I figured, but I still wish I could change that part of my plan.”

Reaching for his hand, I gave it a squeeze. “If it helps mask you helping me, I’m more than okay protecting you.”

Damien didn’t want us talking about his side of this, so he pointed to the metal now in my hold. “Hide the key where they won’t see it.”

My mind knew exactly where to place it as I slid it into the bandage wrapped around my ribs. It hurt but not enough to prevent me from doing it. At first, I thought about using my vagina, but I knew Hank liked to use me when I was raw and aching. Tonight would be no different for the creep.

“Go underneath the room after he comes but wait until someone notices you’re gone before you leave. That way, the house will be emptied out to make it easier.”

“Then what?” I nearly cried, knowing I might not make the escape.

“I’ll make sure to be in the search party. Run into the forest about a quarter of a mile heading toward the river. I’ll be waiting near the walking path. It’ll be empty that time of night from how dangerous the river is to be on, so you’ll need to be careful.”

“What if I run into one of your father’s men?” I feared.

“The screwdriver is still below the house. Take it with you and stab them in the side of the neck with it if you get caught,” Damien said it with such ease, but I wasn’t sure I could kill. I wasn’t sure I could take a life, but I knew I had to try for my freedom, fighting the bile in my throat now.

“What about you?” I blinked back some tears. “Will you run with me?”

“Me? Leave?” he nearly laughed. “I have my mom to think about. I can’t leave her.”

“Oh,” I sighed. “I understand. I just…”

“You want to free me like I have you,” he finished, tucking some loose hair behind my ear.

I couldn’t remember the last time I showered properly, so it felt greasy and reeked of cum.

“You survive, and it will be freeing enough for me to keep fighting for the same one day. When that happens, I’ll find you. ”

“Promise?”

“Promise.” He leaned forward and kissed my forehead, lingering near enough for his breath to cascade down my face. He kept us like that for a long minute. “I have someone on the outside who will get you to safety when I take you to them, so don’t worry about what’ll happen after. You’ll be safe.”

Damien knew he had to go, but he injected me with some drugs before departing.

It wasn’t as heavy of a dose that I normally got, but I knew he want to help ebb the pain away while also letting me have more of my consciousness alert to escape.

Once the drugs rushed through my body, I let out a steady breath because it felt so good to take the hit.

In my mind, I kept telling myself that I only used the drugs here because of the pain, but my subconscious knew that was a lie.

I wanted them like the air filled my lungs.

They took away everything bad that my thoughts wanted to focus on and dulled the emotions attached.

It would be a problem for a different day because I had to ground myself enough to escape.
