Chapter 7 The Life-Sized Doll
Eldest Senior Sister swept me with a cold look, then lifted her foot to walk toward my bed.
"Don't go!"
I locked my arms around her waist so she could not move, and covered her eyes with my other hand.
I covered her eyes and pretended that would solve the problem.
"Let go."
"No."
"Tell me what that is."
Sweat poured down my face.
I could even feel the killing aura on Senior Sister.
"It's a doll!" I shouted.
"I want to see."
Damn Qin Ruoyi. Words bounced off her.
"Your doll! One-to-one! The kind you hold to sleep at night!" I yelled whatever came, my little hands shaking without stop.
The waist under my hands suddenly went taut.
I sank into thought too.
What the hell had I just said.
And that... that middle finger was really...
【卧槽,这女的说的什么虎狼之词?】
【我就说我要嗑,你们还不让。】
【遇上痴女了,女鹅根本顶不住啊。】
【完了,我这是进某棠了。】
My face burned red. I buried my head against Qin Ruoyi's back in shame, but I still had to keep bothering her so she would leave.
"Your waist is pretty slim too. Next time can I see the dimples on your waist? So, c-can you go out now..."
The tips of Qin Ruoyi's ears burned hot. She did not ask again. She turned and left so fast she even seemed to walk with matching hands and feet.
Once Eldest Senior Sister was gone.
The three men under the bed crawled out with mixed expressions and looked at me.
"Junior Sister, since when have you been that close with Eldest Senior Sister?" Innocent Fifth Senior Brother blinked his big eyes, naive as they came.
Fourth Senior Brother coughed twice and dragged his stupid younger brother away.
"Junior Sister, we'll come again next time."
Xue Qianxing looked like he was holding himself in check. He probed, "Qin Ruoyi likes you too? Then do I still have a chance to be the son-in-law..."
"Which eye of yours saw that she likes me?" I said through my teeth.
"Getting close to her never ends well. Junior Sister should still think about the two of us."
Xue Qianxing's face was complicated. He left that line and turned away.
I could not be bothered with him. How could an ordinary man matter more than my life?
Late at night.
I thought back on everything from the day, and I felt completely defeated.
My whole pool of admirers had imploded.
Who was going to take me to cultivate after this.
Wait. That was not right.
I propped myself up and started thinking.
I was the daughter of an immortal house too. Why had I chosen to rely on those Senior Brothers to reach Foundation Establishment?
Even with worse talent, Foundation Establishment should not have needed other people's help.
What had clouded me? The plot those subtitles spoke of?
But ever since I had seen those golden subtitles, I had clearly woken up a lot.
Maybe the Heavenly Dao had taken pity?
I lay back down and sighed, speechless.
I would cultivate properly, and stop being a roadblock everyone hated. Maybe then this life could survive.
Once this life passed, I would be able to cultivate normally.
