Chapter 9

Dos

Ivy stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the tight black leggings that hugged every curve of her body. She tied her hair into a high ponytail, her toned arms flexing slightly as she reached for her water bottle. Damn, she looked good. Too good.

"You sure you're just going to work out?" I teased, leaning against the dresser, watching her.

She smirked and rolled her eyes. "Yes, Dos. Just the gym and then grabbing a smoothie with Crystal. I’ll be back early."

I studied her, searching for any sign of a lie, but she looked me dead in the eye, unbothered. My phone buzzed in my pocket—a subtle notification from the AirTags. So far, her locations had all checked out. Gym, smoothie spot, home. Nothing shady.

I grabbed her waist, pulling her back into me before she could slip away. "Ivy, you know I don’t like when you’re gone too long," I murmured against her neck, inhaling the soft vanilla scent of her skin.

She laughed, tilting her head. "I’m not a prisoner, Dos."

"Nah, but you’re mine." I squeezed her hip. "And I don’t like to share."

Her expression shifted for a split second—so quick I almost missed it. She kissed my cheek, then pulled away. "I’ll be back soon, okay?"

I let her go, watching as she grabbed her keys and walked out the door. The moment it shut behind her, I exhaled and reached for my phone, opening the tracking app. If she was lying, I’d know soon enough. But for now, she was exactly where she said she'd be. I threw on a hoodie and grabbed my keys. There was still one person who might have something on Uno, and I was about to pay her a visit. If anyone had dirt on my brother, it was her.

I leaned back against the headboard, my body still humming from the intensity of what me and Mia had just done. She lay beside me, naked and tangled in the sheets, her chest rising and falling as she tried to catch her breath. The room smelled of sex, the air thick with heat and tension.

Mia rolled onto her side, propping her head up with her hand, her dark eyes glaring at me. "So you really brought that bitch to the club? Had her sitting pretty in VIP like she fucking owns the place?"

I sighed, running a hand over my face. "Watch your mouth, Mia."

"Oh, I need to watch my mouth? You got me fucked up, Dos." She sat up, pulling the sheets around her. "You parade her around like she’s the queen of the damn club, and then you come over here, expecting me to just lay up with you like nothing?"

I smirked, reaching for my cigar on the nightstand. "You know what this is."

She huffed, crossing her arms. "Yeah, and I know what it ain't."

I exhaled a cloud of smoke, my gaze locking onto hers. "Mia, you ain't my girl. You're my escape. My release. You knew that from day one."

She scoffed, looking away. "Yeah? Well, maybe I don’t wanna be just that anymore."

I leaned in, my fingers trailing down her arm, my voice dropping to a low rumble. "Then you’re playing yourself, ma. ‘Cause that’s all this is ever gonna be." Her jaw clenched, but I saw the way her body reacted, the way her breath hitched when my fingers grazed her thigh. She wanted to be mad, but she still wanted me more. I took one last pull from my cigar and leaned in, brushing my lips against her ear. "You can be pissed all you want, but you’ll still open those legs when I tell you to." Mia shivered, her breath shaky. She hated that I was right.

"Fuck you, Dos."

I chuckled, setting my cigar down. "You just did, baby."

Mai looked at me and smirked, “Yea, but I bet your girl can’t do this.” She grabbed my deflated manhood. Her soft tugs instantly brought him to life. With one hand wrapped around my shaft she lowered her lips and began kissing the rim of my head. My dick jumped with excitement. I just smiled at her through the smoke from my cigar. “Do that shit, Mia,” I said encouraging her to continue. Mia’s head game was on ten. She did this thing with her tongue that drove me crazy. The way she slobbed on my dick was Porn Hub worthy. Then to top it off, when I came in her mouth, the way she twirled my juices on her tongue and dripped it back on my dick was sexy as fuck. Her lips were so fucking big and juicy, just thinking about what was about to happen made me wanna take my camera out and film that shit. And she did just that.

Mia was stretched out on her bed, tangled in the sheets, still catching her breath. Her caramel skin glowed under the dim lighting; her body marked with the aftermath of our morning session. I sat at the edge of the bed, lighting another cigar, watching the way her curves shifted as she rolled onto her stomach.

"You mad at me or something?" she asked, propping herself up on her elbows.

I took a slow pull from the cigar and exhaled. "Nah, just thinking."

She scoffed. "Oh, so now you think? Let me guess, about Ivy?”

I smirked but didn’t take the bait. "Stay focused, Mia. I need to know what Uno's been up to."

She sighed dramatically and flopped onto her back. "Why? You worried about him, or you worried about Ivy?"

"Both." I leaned over, trailing my fingers down her thigh. "You seen Crystal at the club with him?"

Mia stretched, tilting her head as if she had to think about it. "Yeah, sometimes. But she’s never there long. She pops in, says hi, and dips. Nothing weird. Why?"

I studied her face. She wasn’t lying, but she also didn’t know everything. I could feel it.

"Uno hasn’t been moving funny? No new girls? Nothing out of the ordinary?"

Mia sat up, swinging her legs over the side of the bed. "No, Dos. He’s been on the same shit—handling business, running the club, fucking Crystal. Whatever you’re fishing for, I don’t have it."

I leaned in close, brushing my lips against her ear. "You sure about that, baby?"

She shivered but pulled away with a smirk. "Positive. But I’ll keep my eyes open if you make it worth my while."

I chuckled, standing up and grabbing my shirt. "I already did, sweetheart."

She pouted as I buttoned my jeans. "You're really leaving?"

"Yeah, I got shit to handle." I took another pull from my cigar and blew the smoke toward the ceiling. "But I’ll be back."

Mia watched me as I walked out.

Uno might’ve been keeping his business clean, but I still wasn’t convinced Crystal was as innocent as she seemed. If she was coming at me, she must have a reason. And I planned to find out real soon.
