Chapter 10

Ivy

Something was off with Dos.

I wasn’t sure when it started, but the shift in him was undeniable. The late nights, the random disappearances in the middle of the day, the way he looked at me like he was searching for something. Even his tone had changed—sharper, more commanding, like he was testing to see how far he could push me. I hated that it was starting to feel familiar.

This was the way he acted before, back when we were just fucking, before we had any real claim to each other. He was possessive but not in the way that made me feel protected. It was different now. It was like he was keeping me under his thumb while he did whatever the hell he wanted. And I wasn’t sure I liked it. Crystal picked up on it, too.

"What’s up with him?" she asked while we stretched after our workout.

I shook my head. "I don’t know. He’s been weird lately. Different."

She gave me a knowing look. "Different how?"

"More aggressive. More controlling." I sighed, leaning back on my hands. "And he’s been leaving at all kinds of hours, coming home late, barely giving me a straight answer when I ask where he’s been."

Crystal raised a brow. "You gonna ask Uno about it?"

I exhaled sharply. "How? He barely talks to me. Ever since that night, he’s been on some ‘tell Dos or leave me alone’ shit."

"Well, yeah," she said, rolling her eyes. "What did you expect? Uno’s not about to play games. He told you from the jump—if you want him, Dos has to know."

I hated hearing it, but I couldn’t argue. Uno had drawn his line, and I’d been too scared to cross it.

I wanted them both.

But I wasn’t sure I could have them without breaking everything apart.

Crystal stood up, brushing her hands down her leggings. "Look, girl. If you want this situation back, you need to stop stalling. Tell Dos. Because the longer you wait, the worse it’s gonna be."

I chewed my lip, my stomach twisting with uncertainty.

Maybe I would tell Dos. Or maybe I’d wait just a little longer to figure out exactly what the hell he was up to first.

After the gym, Crystal and I made our usual stops—the mall, our smoothies, a little browsing—but my mind was elsewhere. Dos had been acting off, and today was no different. He wasn’t home. Again. It was the third time in a row that he asked about my morning routine, almost like he was keeping tabs on me. Meanwhile, he was the one disappearing. Crystal noticed my mood, but she didn’t press. Instead, we laughed over dumb memes, gossiped about people at the gym, and by the time we made it back to my place, I was feeling lighter. The house was empty when we arrived.

"Dos still not here?" Crystal asked, dropping onto the bed and kicking off her sneakers.

"Nope." I sighed, peeling off my gym clothes. "But he’ll ask me where I was, like clockwork."

Crystal smirked. "And you gonna tell him?"

I gave her a look. "Hell no."

She laughed, stretching out on my bed like she lived here. "Good girl. Keep his ass guessing."

I grabbed a towel and headed for the bathroom. "I need a shower.” The water was hot, steam filling the space as I let it run over my sore muscles. I had just lathered up when I felt a soft touch on my back.

I jumped, turning to find Crystal stepping in behind me, completely naked.

"Relax," she purred, running her hands down my arms. "I figured I’d help."

I raised an eyebrow. "Help with what?"

Crystal grinned, taking the soap from my hands and running it over my skin. "You seemed stressed. Thought I’d help you unwind."

I chuckled but didn’t stop her as her fingers traced over my curves, slow and teasing. "You are so full of shit."

She shrugged, eyes glinting with mischief. "Maybe."

Her lips brushed against my shoulder, and a shiver ran through me that had nothing to do with the temperature.

"You like that?" she whispered, pressing closer, her hands sliding down to my waist.

I exhaled, tilting my head to give her more room. "Maybe."

She giggled, turning my chin so our lips met. The kiss was soft at first, playful, but when her tongue brushed against mine, something deeper ignited between us. I pulled her closer, hands tangling in her damp hair as the water rained down over us.

Crystal moaned, pressing her body flush against mine, and just as her hands started wandering lower—

A deep, amused cough echoed through the steam-filled bathroom.

We froze.

I turned my head, heart slamming into my ribs as I spotted Dos leaning against the doorway, arms crossed, a smirk playing on his lips.

"Well, well, well," he drawled, shaking his head. "Look what I walked in on."

"Oh shit—Dos."

I froze; my body pressed against the slick shower tiles as the steam curled around us. Crystal’s hands were still on me, her fingertips tracing lazy circles along my waist. The hot water drummed against our skin, a steady rhythm that did nothing to drown out the silence stretching between the three of us.

Dos stood there, his gaze dark and unreadable, taking in the scene before him. I opened my mouth, unsure of what to say, but before I could form a single word, Crystal turned toward him.

"You just gonna stand there and watch?" she teased, tilting her head. "Or are you going to join us?"

I turned to look at her, wide-eyed, but she just smirked, her confidence unshaken. A part of me expected Dos to lash out—to demand answers, to accuse, to question—but instead, his lips curled into something between amusement and intrigue. Without breaking eye contact, he reached for the hem of his shirt, pulling it over his head. My breath hitched.

His body was all sharp angles and sculpted muscle, droplets of moisture catching in the ridges of his abs as he stepped closer. His pants hit the floor in one swift motion, and then he was inside the shower with us, the heat between our bodies matching the steam surrounding us.

Crystal pressed a kiss to my shoulder before turning her attention to Dos. "Ivy and I were just getting started," she murmured, tracing a finger down his chest. "You sure you can keep up?"

Dos chuckled, low and deep, as his hands slid around my waist from behind. "Oh, you have no idea."

The three of us moved together, slow, deliberate touches sending shivers down my spine. Crystal’s lips trailed soft, teasing kisses along my neck as Dos’s hands explored my body, his fingertips igniting every nerve they passed over. The water cascaded over us, adding to the sensation—the warmth, the slickness, the way our bodies molded against each other.

It was unspoken, this moment. No explanations, no justifications—just the feeling of being wanted, of being worshipped between the two of them. I closed my eyes, letting myself drown in it.
