The system's cheerful voice rang out in Kendall's mind one after another.

As if to celebrate, the system even set off a brilliant firework display in Kendall's mind. Kendall didn't respond to the system for a moment.

After tying up John, she turned and walked towards the van. She was a little worried about the people in the back.

But when her hand touched the car door, Kendall saw her reflection in the window. She paused slightly, took a black mask from her pocket, and put it on. Then, Kendall pulled open the car door.

The commotion she made while subduing Joe and John wasn't small, so the people in the car had already woken up.

When they saw that it was Kendall who opened the door, their tense bodies instantly relaxed.

"Don't be scared. We're safe now," Kendall said. She bent down and got into the car, tearing off the tape on their mouths. The past few days, Joe and John had only given them two buns and a bottle of water a day. Other than when they were eating the buns, their mouths were taped shut.

After Kendall tore off the tape, they all gasped for air like fish out of water. Then, they cried and thanked Kendall.

Kendall told them not to cry and then lowered her head to untie the ropes on their wrists.

With their hands free, they couldn't hold it in anymore.

They hugged each other and wailed, as if they wanted to cry out all the terror and suffering they had experienced in the past few days.

Kendall didn't stop them. Sometimes, crying was a way to vent and relieve emotional stress.

Kendall turned to check on the two unconscious children.

It was strange that they hadn't woken up despite all the noise in the car.

Kendall was a little worried. One of the girls noticed what Kendall was doing and said, "They were given medicine this afternoon.

They probably won't wake up for a few more hours. "

Hearing this, Kendall looked up at her. The girl continued, "Because they were so noisy when they were captured, the two traffickers got annoyed and... gave them medicine every day."

"Yes, yes," the other girls agreed. "Every time they're given the medicine, they can't be woken up until they wake up on their own."

Kendall's eyes grew cold. The two children looked to be no older than five or six. All medicine has some side effects, especially sleeping pills! Those two traffickers deserved to die!

Kendall put her fingers under the children's noses. When she felt that their breathing was steady, she took her hand back and got out of the car.

Kendall took the phone from John's body and called the police station.

"Hello, is this the police station?"

"I want to report a crime. I was at Ruby Road yesterday and was kidnapped by three traffickers. I just managed to escape, and with me there are seven other girls and two children. The two children are currently unconscious, and we need an ambulance. My current location is..."

After hanging up, Kendall got back in the car. Looking at the unconscious Joe, Kendall gave his head another hard punch.

After untying the rope around Joe's neck and his seatbelt, Kendall got out of the car, walked to the driver's side, opened the door, and pulled Joe out. Joe fell hard to the ground.

Kendall didn't care if he was dead or alive. It was a waste of fresh air for people like him to live even for one more second.

Waiting for rescue here would take too long. Kendall had a driver's license and knew how to drive, so she had arranged to meet the police officer in the middle of the road.

Kendall dragged Joe and John to one spot. She had originally planned to put them in the back of the van. But when she saw the terrified eyes of the girls in the back, she changed her mind.

The two adult men were too big to put in the car, which would not only cause them psychological stress but also make them feel cramped!

The old van was already smelly and uncomfortable. With the added factor of being cramped, it would be a living hell for them.

Kendall stood there for a moment, thinking. When she remembered that there were a lot of ropes left in the back of the van, a brilliant idea came to her.

Since she couldn't fit them inside the car, she could tie them to the roof!
