5. Chapter Four
Chapter Four
Leif
Anticipation has me ready to pass out as we walk back to the hotel together.
It’s only a few blocks but it feels like miles.
Neither of us speaks a word until we enter the lobby.
The air around us is tense but comfortable, like this is something we’ve done a thousand times before but can’t get enough of.
Something tells me that’s how it’ll feel after, too. Aliko is just that kind of guy.
“Who’s room are we going to?” I ask.
“Doesn’t matter to me.”
“Yours then. In case anyone sees us, they won’t think it’s weird that you’re hanging out on the crew’s floor.”
He nods as we enter the elevator and presses the button for the top floor, having to swipe his card in order for it to work since not everyone is allowed on that floor.
Moments pass like hours, until finally the doors open to a hallway that looks similar to mine—only shorter. The rooms up here are suites, so there are less of them because they take up more space. I follow him to the right, and he stops in front of the last door, swiping his card again.
This is surreal. I’ve thought of this happening too many times since I’ve met him.
I don’t know what it is about him and why I’m so attracted to him.
Not only his looks but his raw talent which is somehow even more attractive now that I know he’s self-taught.
I’m also a little jealous because I wish I could be that good at something without years of practice.
I’ve been playing most of my life, and I’m not half as good as he is.
I’m not resentful, though. I’m happy for him.
He deserves this. It seems his life wasn’t great with the kraken, so I’m glad he has this now—something good.
I follow Aliko inside, entering a spacious kitchen and dining room combo. Across the room are floor-to-ceiling windows, overlooking Indianapolis. The lights are a contrast against the dark sky. I don’t even know what time it is—nor do I care.
Farther in is a sitting room with a half-circle cream-colored couch that could fit twenty people easily.
Brown and white throw pillows are placed along it in a way that’s supposed to look random but isn’t.
A large screen TV hangs on the wall. There’s a bar in the corner with a few bottles of alcohol along the top, and opposite that is a spiral staircase that leads to the loft bedroom.
“Wow, this is fucking nice,” I say as I spin in a circle and look around.
“It’s a hotel room,” he says with no amount of emotion.
“Do you own a home here?” I ask, suddenly wondering how he lives here as a monster from the ocean.
Humans have IDs, Social Security Numbers, and a ton of other things the government makes us have to prove who we are.
I think it’s similar for monsters, but for one who has never been here before?
He must have figured out something if he’s here and making money, but I’m realizing more and more that I know nothing about how Aliko, or other monsters, live. Makes me feel kind of shitty.
He shakes his head. “No, not yet.”
“But you plan to?”
He shrugs but doesn’t look at me. Something about the expression on his face tells me he doesn’t want to talk about it.
“Don’t really know what’s going to happen back home yet,” he says quietly.
“You plan on going back?”
He turns to face me. “I don’t really want to talk about my home right now,” he says. Not angrily, but almost as if he’s tired of talking about it.
“Right.” I rub the back of my neck. “Sorry, I guess I’m just nervous.”
“Me too.”
“What do you have to be nervous about?”
“I’ve never done this,” he says casually.
“Oh… like… never?”
He shoves his hands into his pockets and avoids looking at me again, his gaze on the ground.
“I’m not in this form often…”
“But even in your other form?” I ask, taking a tentative step closer.
He smirks. “If you’re asking if I fuck groupies, the answer is no. They’re usually women, and even if they weren’t, that’s not really my thing.”
“I wasn’t… that’s not….” I blow out a breath. “Sorry. I didn’t mean it like that.”
“I know. I’m just putting it out there.”
“Okay, so… you’ve never done this before. What do you want to do?” I ask carefully.
“Anything that gets my hands on you,” he says, holding my gaze. The air around us heats up instantly. His tongue darts out to lick his lips, and it takes everything in me not to ravage him right here, right now.
“Fuck,” I mutter under my breath. “You want to touch me?”
“Hell yeah. You’re hot, Leif. I’m sure you know that.”
“I mean… I guess, but that doesn’t mean you want to touch me.”
“I’m no different from anyone else.”
I move closer to him, leaving just a foot between us. “You’re very different from everyone else.”
I lean in closer, so our lips are just an inch away. “Is kissing okay?”
“Yes,” he breathes out, his eyes fluttering closed.
I press my lips to his without hesitation. He sucks in a breath, and I grasp his shirt, balling the fabric in my fist and tugging him closer. I pull back; the breath caught in my lungs.
“My cock is so hard,” he breathes out.
“I love how honest you are.”
“Alcohol does that to me.” His eyes open, focusing intently on me. “Do that again.”
I kiss him again, loving that he told me to do it—telling me what he wants despite being nervous. His body presses against mine, and I slide my tongue along his bottom lip, tasting beer and the slightest hint of sea salt.
“I’m going to have so much fun with you,” I whisper against his mouth before moving down to his jaw and nipping. He lets out the quietest little sound of pleasure that makes my dick pulse with need. “I need to know your limits, though.”
“Not sure I have any,” he says breathlessly.
“Anything you don’t want to do?” I ask, running my nose along his jaw, then kissing his neck.
He swallows hard. “No.”
“If I do something you don’t like, just tell me.”
He nods, his hands finally coming up to grasp my waist. Heat seeps through my shirt, burning my skin beneath.
I move to his neck, brushing my lips across his skin.
His breath hitches. I kiss the spot right beneath his ear once, then twice.
The third time, I open my mouth, allowing myself to taste him.
His grip tightens on me, nails digging into my sides.
I trail my lips downward, pulling the collar of his shirt aside to get to that sweet spot where his shoulder meets his neck.
I use my tongue more. Aliko’s breathing increases.
My dick gets harder, but I keep going slow, wanting to savor this—make him feel good.
This being his first time doesn’t scare me. I’m not freaking out over it like other guys might. I just want him to enjoy it. I want it to be memorable. I want him to think back on this and not feel weird or like he was taken advantage of or cheated.
I slide my hands beneath the hem of his shirt and lift only an inch or two. His hands leave me and grasp his shirt, ready to tug it over his head.
I place my hands on top of his and glance up at him. “Hold on,” I say gently. “Let me take care of you.”
“I just…”
“You’re eager.”
He nods, his chest rising and falling quickly. “That’s hot, but trust me, I’ve got this.”
His hands fall to his sides, his body loosening. But barely. He’s so on edge right now.
“What if I…” he begins but doesn’t finish. I look up at him, waiting him out. He says nothing after a few moments.
“What?” I ask. “You have to tell me what you want.”
“…come too quickly,” he blurts out.
“Are you opposed to me continuing if you do? We don’t need to stop at one.”
“Fuck,” he hisses under his breath, gaze going upwards.
I chuckle, waiting for an answer.
“Sorry, that’s just… I already feel like I’m going to… you know. Come.”
“I’ll keep my words to myself then.” I lean in, licking along his jaw.
“That isn’t helping.”
I smile as I move to the other side of his neck, giving it the same attention.
“Sorry. Can’t help it.”
I run my thumb along the bit of skin just above his jeans, teasing him. He’s warm. Soft but firm. I don’t know how much more of this I’m going to get, so I should move it along a little—before he’s the one who ravages me.
