The Ghost Mother's Ever After

On the ninth floor of Manhattan’s famously haunted Dakota Building, struggling writer Frannie agrees to play catch with Bridgette, the ghost of a little girl, and soon meets Bridgette’s brother Michael and their aloof, attractive mother, Elsa.

Celebrated novelist Henry L. Olsen, Frannie’s boss, has once again dismissed her manuscript, and she starts a new book about the ghost mother who fascinates her.

While Olsen travels on a book tour, Frannie’s friendship with Elsa deepens into a sapphic romance.

To remain with Elsa and the children, she must abandon her hope of becoming a novelist or find a way to free the ghost family from the home that holds them forever.

She wants a future with them, but the building that keeps the ghosts may not let that future exist.
