Seyeon lives quietly in the city, successful, self-contained, and content to keep his world small.

When the woman who once hid him and nursed him back to health dies, a call from home pulls him back to the harbor town of his childhood to settle what she left behind.

Her will includes a condition he cannot fulfill by himself: the boy who left one summer without a word, and who made certain Seyeon would never follow, has to be there too.
