Chapter 10 Our Peaceful Days
My relationship with Qin Chi got better.
He introduced his friends to me.
He didn't like eating breakfast, so I started waking up early to buy some and leave it on his desk.
He actually ate it every time.
When he and his friends went to the amusement park, he would invite me along.
During winter break, when Uncle Qin and Aunt Lin went traveling, his friends came over to play. I cleaned up the messy rooms for them.
For every meal that Qin Chi didn't eat outside, I cooked for him.
I washed and hung his changed clothes.
Sometimes he would sigh.
"Zhou Xiaoning, how are you so good at taking care of people?"
"Because you helped me at school. I wanted to repay you."
One weekend at the amusement park, Liu Tian got scared while ice skating. She broke her leg.
For the rest of the semester she attended class in a cast, walking on crutches.
No one bullied me anymore. I could finally study in peace.
"Qin Chi, let's get into the same university, okay?"
He nodded. "Okay."
Those were the happiest days of my life.
