Chapter 14

WREN

Axel ended up having to go back to the club because of an issue, so Levi returned to keep watch outside. I’ll admit, I missed the annoying jerk the rest of the day.

As much as he annoys me, he’s charming. I was equal parts annoyed and charmed when he showed up today with food because I didn’t eat breakfast before I left the club. If any other man showed up to my work, I would have shown him back through the door. Not Axel, though.

I finish off the day at work and tell Lenny I’m heading out. I told Axel that I would come to the clubhouse again tonight. I like it there. It’s familiar. It’s fun. It’s safe. When I’m there I don’t have to worry about Dylan showing his face. He would be stupid to.

I grab my things and head out to my SUV. I need to run by my place to get a few more things. I think that this time I’ll pack for a few days. I have a feeling I’ll be spending most of my nights at the clubhouse. I look in my rearview mirror as Levi pulls out behind me and we head to my apartment.

I wait for Levi to park before I get out of my vehicle and walk inside.

I quickly grab more clothes and shoes, making sure I have enough work outfits and clothes to lounge in, and grab the rest of my makeup.

My bag is pretty heavy when I walk outside, and Levi hops off his bike and rushes over to me when he sees me struggling to hold it.

“Let me get it,” he offers as he grabs the bag from my hands and waits for me to lock up.

“I could have managed,” I grumble. “But thank you.”

He nods in answer and follows me to my trunk, loading the bag before he walks over to his bike and hops on. We head to the clubhouse and a smile spreads across my face knowing that I’m about to spend another night with Axel.

I pull up to the gate and wait for the prospects to open them for me before I pull past them and park near the clubhouse door.

Levi parks and meets me at the back of my vehicle to help me with my bag.

These aren’t the type of men to let you do strenuous things when they’re around. It’s just the club’s way.

I wrap my arms around myself as I follow Levi into the clubhouse. He holds the door for me and when I step inside, the warmth chases away the chill in the air.

I smile at him. “Thank you, Levi.”

“It’s no problem,” he replies warmly. “Enjoy your night.”

I watch as he leaves my bag by the door and walks off towards the hallway of bedrooms before I make my way into the main area. I smile at Atlas, Cole, and Nash who are seated at the bar and look around the room for Axel.

My eyes finally land on him, and my smile widens.

I start walking to where he’s standing by the couch but stop in my tracks when I see Patience’s hand rubbing down Axel’s arm.

My heart sinks as Axel’s eyes meet mine.

He brushes off Patience’s hand and smiles at me, until he recognizes the look on my face. Then his smile drops.

I start to back out of the room, and he immediately follows me. I turn and walk faster to the door, eager to make my escape, but he gets to me first.

“Wait, Wren!” He calls out and then I’m spun around, grabbed by my waist and slung over his shoulder.

I squeal in shock and kick and flail as he carries me deeper into the clubhouse and farther away from my escape. Most of the club members are laughing as they watch Axel carry me away and I make a mental note of who’s ass I need to kick after this.

Axel effortlessly staves off my attempts to escape and carries me up the stairs, stopping only to punch in the code to his suite and carry me inside.

He doesn’t even bother turning on the lights as he barges through the living area and into the bedroom.

He tosses me onto the bed and then flips on the light in the room, momentarily blinding me.

“What the hell were you running away from?” He growls as he stalks towards me. I don’t respond, I just glare at him, and it only fires him up more. “This is never going to fucking work if you don’t talk to me, Wren!”

I grind my teeth and stare at him for a moment, wanting nothing more than to fight him on this, but he’s right. This will get us nowhere.

“We haven’t even been doing whatever this is for a week, and you already had a club slut hanging all over you,” I grit out.

He stills in front of me, but I can feel the anger radiating off him. “This is about Patience running her hand down my arm?” He asks incredulously. “That was nothing. I brushed her off as soon as it happened.”

“Yes, this is about Patience,” I hiss, “If it’s so easy to let that happen, what’s to stop her from sucking your dick or trying to fuck you?”

“You’re jealous of her?” He asks with a frown.

“Why on Earth would you be jealous of her? She is nothing. You are everything. She’s throwing herself at every brother in this clubhouse.

Her only ambition in this life is to become an old lady,” he murmurs as he reaches out and brushes the back of his fingers against my cheek. “She has nothing on you, baby.”

My heart is in my throat as I listen to his words. I can’t find any to describe my feelings, so I drop to my knees instead. My hands find his belt buckle, unbuckling it and then popping the button on his jeans and unzipping the zipper.

“What are you doing?” He rasps.

“Shh.”

I pull his jeans and boxer briefs down his powerful thighs, watching as his cock springs free. He’s hard and long and thick. His veins trail down the velvety skin to his swollen, angry looking head.

I lean forward and guide him into my mouth, circling my tongue around his tip and tugging on his piercing.

“Fuck, baby,” Axel groans as he brushes the hair out of my face and looks down on me in reverence. “That feels so damn good.”

His words motivate me as I take him to the back of my throat and swallow. I don’t have a gag reflex, and I’ve never been more thankful for that fact than I am now.

I take my time, working him over with my mouth as I grab his hips and set the pace. He begins to thrust in and out, and I let him fuck my throat as I fondle his balls.

“Jesus,” he moans as his pace quickens.

I watch him through watering eyes, eating up the look on his face. Pure ecstasy. That look makes me clench my thighs together to try to get some friction. It doesn’t help, but I could come just from watching this.

When Axel’s thrusts become erratic, I take him to the back of my throat and swallow a few times. He thrusts two more times before he stills and spills down my throat. I lock eyes with him as I swallow his release and then suck his sensitive head a few times just to watch him squirm.

“Fucking hell, Wren,” Axel pants as I release his cock with an audible pop. “That was fucking incredible.”

“I know,” I tell him with a smirk. “And I was jealous,” I admit as I rise to my feet and walk into the bathroom.
