They sound really really close. I hadn't experience that kind of friendship when I was a child since I was kept inside the house, dealing with my nightmares.
I was home tutored, it was fun but it didn't last long. I started to feel alone, left out and whenever I see kids going in and out of school with their parents or friends, I envied them.
But they said she was missing...
I understand some words but still can't grasp the mention of packs like they're damn wolves.
Nonetheless, I just listened to her stories, not only is it interesting but I also wanna know what I got myself into.
She wasn't lying when she said it was a long story.
Because it was really long.
Her stories lasted for at least 2 hours. I'm exhausted.
To sum her story up, Delora became the enemy pack because she tried to be her.
And it turns out, Delora also loved the Alpha, but she didn't want him to know because of her. Delora loved her too and was afraid it'll ruin their relationship with each other if she confesses.
So when she was gone, Delora took the opportunity to approach the Alpha and make him fall in love with her.
Obviously, she failed and day by day, their friendship grew apart. He became distant and cold whilst she continued to earn his love.
She was furious that whatever she does, doesn't affect the Alpha at all.
So she did the unbelievable. She pretended to be her, to deceive the Alpha himself. At first, it worked, of course since she can manipulate her form.
Turns out, these people are for more than human.
Later on, the Alpha found out who she really was and sentenced her to death.
Delora didn't die because she escaped them. So what the Alpha did was set their friendship aside and ended things with their pack and Deloras.
He declared that Delora's pack is no longer their ally but is now their enemies.
All because of one person.
Her.
He did all of that for her. Risked all of it, for her.
The Alpha was crazy in love with her. Probably still is.
Never really shocked me what love can do in a persons life. Because I too, experienced its power and influence over people.
It's overwhelming. To the point that you'll do anything for him/her, just to see them happy.
After her story, she opened up a topic that took my breath away.
They're living in a fantasy world where everything is real. Everything that you can only see in a book or a movie, is true.
Even magic is real. Just how did I end up entering their world without a clue?
The eldere brought us here, they should have answers for me. But they're being really suspicious.
Before I could ask what she is, alarms went off. There was this horn blaring all over the place.
I covered my ears because it was too loud.
I took off the cover from my ears and ran to her.
I shook her since she was close to me.
She looked at me hesitantly and spoke.
I slapped her and let her face me.
