Unspoken words

Author's pov-

The next morning, Divya walked into college with kaashi, who was rambling about an upcoming assignment. But her mind was still stuck on last night. The drive. The rain. The way purv had looked at her. There was something there-something she couldn't quite put into words.

"You're awfully quiet today," kaashi noted, nudging her arm.

Divya forced a smile. "Just tired."

Kaashi gave her a knowing look. "Tired? Or thinking about a certain someone?"

Divya rolled her eyes. "Not everything is about him."

Kaashi smirked. "Right."

Before Divya could argue, they reached their lecture hall.

After class, Divya was heading to the library when she spotted aditya waiting for her.

"You busy?" He asked.

She shook her head. "Not really. What's up?"

Aditya grinned. "I was wondering if you'd help me with this finance assignment. I swear my brain shuts down the second I open the textbook."

Divya laughed. "You're hopeless."

"I'll take that as a yes." He chuckled.

As they walked, they reached an open hallway that overlooked the campus garden. Divya barely noticed purv leaning against the railing until his gaze met hers.

His sharp eyes flickered toward Aditya before he straightened up.

"Didn't know you were giving free tutoring sessions," purv said casually, but there was an edge to his voice.

Aditya smirked. "Jealous?"

Purv raised an eyebrow. "Should I be?"

Divya frowned, sensing the tension between them.

"We were just heading to library," she said quickly. "He needs help with finance."

Purv hummed, slipping his hands into his pockets. "How generous of you."

Aditya chuckled. "Well, not everyone is naturally gifted in academics, Mr. Buisness tycoon's son."

Purv's smirk didn't fade, but there was something in his eyes-something that made Divya's stomach twist.

She sighed. "We should get going."

Purv didn't stop them, but as divya walked away with Aditya, she felt his gaze lingering on her.

And for some reason, that single look stayed with her for the rest of the day.
