Chapter 10
The siblings were just returned from school. They freshened up and sat on the dining table for their lunch. Aditya and Arush were constantly bickering over some stupid topic.
Kaka emerged from the kitchen and served them food. Abhishek was having his food silently while Aditya and Arush were still busy arguing.
"Have your food silently." Abhishek ordered glaring at both of them.
"Mai to chup hu isey chup karao." Arush said pointing at Aditya.
"Aru, kitni baar kaha hai na bada hai wo tujhse tameez me baat kiya kar." Abhishek reprimanded.
"Mai to aise hi baat karunga." Arush mumbled picking up a spoonful of food.
"Aru tu..." Abhishek started but was cut off by Aditya.
"Let it be, bhai." Aditya said to end the topic.
Abhishek glared at Arush, making him rolling his eyes in return. They had their lunch silently and returned to their rooms.

Advait was sitting in his cabin working on his laptop. His focus was solely on his work. His fingers waved effortlessly on the keys of the laptop.
A soft knock on the door broke his trance. He permitted the person on the other side of the door to enter.
His assistant, Miss tiya entered the cabin with purposeful strides. His eyes were still fixed on the laptop.
"Sir, there is a girl named shreya standing outside saying that she has an appointment with you." Miss Tiya informed in a professional tone.
"Let her in." Advait replied without looking up.
She exited the cabin after giving a swift nod to him.
After nearly two minutes, Shreya bombarded in the cabin with her energetic vibe.
Advait looked up at her and an unknowingly strange feeling waved over him. He instantly felt a strange yet strong connection with her. He noticed, her eyes were soft filled with warmth and love. Her face radiating the positive vibes she carries with herself.
It was the first time, Advait noticing a girl. On the other hand, Shreya's situation was no different. Her heart skipped a beat. He was her crush and finally she was meeting him. She was feeling like the most happiest person on the world at that right moment.
Advait's eyes were fixed on her eyes while she was shamelessly checking him out from head to toe. Advait noticed her eyes. He smirked and intentionally cleared his throat to gain her attention.
She awkwardly looked away and hesitantly stepped forward "Hello, Mr. Malhotra" She greeted.
Advait gave a curt nod and motioned her to sit "Please, sit."
She sat down looking nervous and hesitant. She was fidgeting her fingers on her lap anxiously.
Advait had to control his smile after looking at her expressions. She was feeling shy as if they were about to discuss their wedding. Her cheeks became red. She was blushing.
"Why're you blushing?" Advait asked straight forwardly.
His nature was like that he was very direct and straight forward. Arush picked up that habit from him but in a wrong way. He always says something which he shouldn't have and crossed the line between being straight forward and rude.
"Ah blushing? No actually I'm feeling hot." She replied making Advait raised his eyebrow in response.
"I mean it's so hot here. Can you please turn on the AC?" She covered up.
"AC is already turn on as you are." Advait replied making her choke on the air.
She continued coughing. Advait stood up and gave her a glass of water. She gulped down the water in one go and he stood there pocketing his hands.
"You okay?" Advait asked without expressions.
She nodded while avoiding his gaze. He sat back on his chair and started taking her interview.
He asked her all the details about her qualifications.
But more than her qualifications he wanted to know about her principles.
Her perspective about the life. He wanted a tutor that would not only teach his kid bookish knowledge but also guide him correctly according to situations and he would not allowed a person with wrong mindset go near his kids.
Shreya replied all the answers beautifully and precisely as Advait wanted. He was totally amazed and impressed by her way of thinking and explaining things.
"Okay so, any more questions Mr. Malhotra?" She asked teasingly. She could see his care for his kid behind his every question.
"No, do you want to ask anything?" Advait asked.
"Did I pass the interview?" She asked, her eyes twinkled mischievously.
Advait chuckled internally looking at her cute expressions.
"Yes" He nodded sharply.
"Yeah congratulations to me." She squealed happily on her chair.
Advait looked at her without expression but the glint of something different in his eyes betraying him.
She realized that she was still sitting in front of her crush. She quickly composed herself and awkwardly looked at him.
"Sorry, it is my first job so i just got a little bit excited." She said sheepishly.
"A little bit?" He asked raising his brows.
She tight lipped and nodded meekly.
"Inform me about the timings." She asked changing the topic.
"I'll send you the address with the timings." He replied.
"And the last and most important thing take it as a warning or advice. Don't even think of hitting my child in the name of the discipline." He warned leaning forward and putting his hands on the desk.
She gulped on the sudden change of the tone and nodded slowly.
"I will personally check on his improvement every week." He added.
She again nodded and waited for him to say something else.
She was looking at him with different eyes.
Advait again noticed her gawking at him but he didn't say anything.
He internally rolled his eyes and again got busy with his laptop.
She understood that it was his way of saying the conversation had over.
"It was nice to meet you Mr. Malhotra." She said while standing up.
Advait looked up directly staring at her eyes "Same here Miss Shreya." He repliedwith a slight smirk on his lips.
She turned away and smile like a mad person. She hurriedly exited the cabin and excitedly spin the first person she had come across.
It was Tiya. Shreya hugged her tightly as if she was her long lost friend. Tiya smiled at her friendly gesture.
"Hey why are you so happy ha?" Tiya asked with a smile.
"I got my first job." Shreya jumped on her place in excitement.
"Really congratulations!!" Tiya replied with the same excitement.
"Thank youuuuu" Shreya sang and walked away from there.
Advait looked at her through the CCTV and a smile came on his lips looking at her.
"She is...different."
He shook his head while murmuring under his breath.

Aditya was lazily lying down on the couch in the living room. His fingers were dancing over the buttons of the remote with a frustrated look settled on his face. He was trying to find a good thing to watch from last six minutes.
A smile crept on his face as he found a perfect movie to watch. He sat comfortably on the couch and start watching the movie with focus.
But suddenly his face was turned in to a scowl as the channel changed. He looked at his right side and found Arush sat beside him with the remote in his hand.
"Aru, Kyu change kiya mai dekh raha tha na?" Aditya asked.
"Ab mai dekh raha hu." Arush replied without looking away from the TV.
"Ye kya tareeka hai mai dekh raha tha na pehle mujhe remote de." Aditya's voice turned defensive.
"Pehle mai cartoon dekh lu phir dekh lena." Arush replied, his eyes were fixed on the screen.
"Cartoon dekhna hai to jaa kar mirror me dekh mujhe movie dekhne de." Aditya replied snatching the remote from his hands.
"Mujhe remote do kyu pareshan kar rahe ho?" Arush whined while trying to snatch the remote.
"Mai pareshan kar raha hu ya tu kar raha hai? Mai aram se movie dekh raha tha na beech me kon aaya?" Aditya said.
"Mujhe remote do mai last baar bol raha hu." Arush warned showing his index finger.
Aditya raised his brow on his warning and smirked slightly "Aur mai naa du to?"
"To..." Arush just said this and bit Aditya on his arm.
Aditya hissed in pain and whacked his head "Kutta hai kya jo kaat raha hai?"
"Aap honge kutte." Arush replied angrily making Aditya's jaw clenched in anger but a loud voice echoed in the mansion before Aditya could say anything.
"Arush" Abhishek thundered taking long strides towards their side.
Arush flinched by the loud voice and get scared looking at Abhishek's angered eyes.
"Bilkul tameez bhool gaya hai itni badtameezi kaha se aa rahi hai?" Abhishek asked gripping his ear harshly and giving it a painful twist.
Arush started crying from the pain and shouted "Ahh...choro mera kaan lag rahi hai mujhe."
Abhishek again twisted his ear but not as harshly as before "Lagni bhi chahiye bilkul tameez bhool gaya hai tu."
Arush grabbed Abhishek's other hand and dig his teeth on his hand. Abhishek winced and left his ear.
"Tera dimag kharab ho gaya hai kya sabko kaate jaa raha hai." Aditya said glaring at him.
"Dimag to sach me kharab ho gaya hai iska bohot bigadta jaa raha hai." Abhishek shouted making him cry loudly.
"Rehne do bhai, bhaiya handle kar lenge isey." Aditya said looking at Abhishek as he knows no one could handle Arush other than him.
"Apne room me jaa abhi" Abhishek ordered Arush.
"Mai kyu jau aap log jao mujhe TV dekhna hai." He yelled while sniffing.
Abhishek closed his eyes to control his anger and Aditya sighed getting frustrated by Arush's stubbornness.
"Arush, bhai bol rahe hain na room me jaa TV baad me dekh lena." Aditya cupped his cheeks and gently made him understand.
"Dur hato, ache banne ka natak mat karo apki wajah se hi daant padi mujhe." Arush shouted pushing him back with force Aditya stumbled but regained his composure.
Abhishek jerked Arush in his direction and firmly pressed his shoulders.
"Ek jor ka thappad padega arush saari akal thikane aa jayegi, mai bhaiya nahi hu bohot sir par chada rakha hai bhaiya ne tujhe bilkul manners khatam ho gaye hain." He yelled on his face.
Arush again started crying. Aditya rolled his eyes and settled on the sofa not to participate anymore in the drama.
"Apologize to him right now." Abhishek ordered but Arush was not having any bit of it.
"Sunai nahi diya kya kaha maine?" Abhishek again shouted.
Arush cried loudly but didn't respond him.
"Thappad khana hai?" Abhishek asked dangerously glaring directly at his soul.
Arush shook his head while crying "Apologize." Abhishek pressed.
Arush was still standing there crying but didn't move from his place.
"Leave it bhai mujhe ni chahiye iska sorry bas isey chup karao warna mere kaan fat jayenge." Aditya replied while watching the TV.
"Shut up, Adi." Abhishek scolded making him rolled his eyes.
Kaka entered the mansion with the bags of groceries in his hands. He looked at the scene in front of him and instantly took Arush to his side.
"Kya hua beta ye ro kyu raha hai?" Kaka asked hugging Arush to his side.
"Please lekar jaiye isey yaha se, kaka." Aditya replied while Abhishek was still busy in glaring at his soul.
Kaka looked between the brothers sensing they had argument.
"Aane de aaj bhaiya ko." Abhishek said calmly yet dangerously looking straight at Arush and left.
Arush also left for his room still sobbing and Aditya exhaled a breath of relief.
"Ye kya tha?" Kaka asked Aditya looking confused.
"Trailer, picture bhaiya ke aane ke baad." Aditya replied casually.
Kaka shook his head on his remark and retreated in kitchen to arrange the groceries.
