Chapter 9
Advait came into the garden looking for abhishek and he found him sitting on the couch settled in the garden.
He was staring at the plants while pouting sadly, his eyebrows were scrunched as he was thinking something.
Advait shook his head and sat beside him, abhishek glanced at him from the corner of his eye and again shifted his attention to those plants.
"Yaha kyu betha hai?" Advait asked after clearing his throat.
"Aise hi" Abhishek replied curtly.
"Aise hi?" Advait repeated raising his brow.
Abhishek ignored his comment and silence was filled between them but Abhishek broke it.
"Aap kyu bethe hai yaha andar jaiye, gaming zone bhi to leke jana hai apko apne Aru ko." Abhishek said mockingly.
"Kyu tu nahi chalega?" Advait asked biting his inner cheeks to control his smile.
"Mujhe nahi jana kahi aap log jaiye." His tone was dejected.
"Acha ji kyu nahi jana sir apko?" Advait asked snaking his hand around the little one's shoulder.
Abhishek didn't reply nor did he try to get out of the advait's hold.
"Bhaiya is so sorry meri jaan." Advait said sincerely.
But Abhishek remained unresponsive.
"I was already frustrated baccha and you were repeating the same thing again and again so I.... so sorry baccha." Advait said pulling him in his embrace.
Abhishek didn't say anything and let the advait do whatever he wanted.
"Baat bhi nahi karega ab?" Advait asked to look at him.
But Abhishek turned his face to the other side.
"Aap bas Aru se pyar karte hain mujhpe itni jor se chillaya aur usse kitne pyar se baate kar rahe the uski demand puri karne ke liye bhi maan gaye." Abhishek complained.
"Beta I just told you I was frustrated, aur rahi baat demand puri karne ki to mai khud soch raha tha tum logo ko ghumane leke jane ke liye but usse pehle Aru ne hi bol diya to maine haa kar diya." Advait explained him.
"No need to explain bhaiya, let's go inside." Abhishek said getting up from the sofa.
"Abhi" Advait said with hurt and guilt.
Abhishek didn't listen and went inside the mansion.
Advait looked at his retreating figure with mist eyes, tears pricked in his eyes and ready to fall he always becomes weak when it comes to his kids.
He can't tolerate their sadness and when the reason behind their sadness was him, he hated himself for that.
Abhishek entered the living room. Reyansh was talking with Aditya or more like arguing with him over something stupid.
Abhishek was going towards the stairs when Reyansh caught his glimpse "Buddy" He called out.
Abhishek turned to look at him "Ji bhai."
"Advait kaha hai wo bahar gaya tha na tere piche." Reyansh asked.
"Honge garden me" Abhishek replied and turned back and started going again.
"Ruk" Reyansh said halting his steps, he got up and went to his side.
"Aisa muh kyu bana rakha hai aur advait bahar kya raha hai jab tu yaha hai" Reyansh asked raising his brows.
"Mujhe kya pata wo bahar kya kar rahe hain." Abhishek said irritatingly, his emotions took a toll on him.
Reyansh glared at him "Apni ye tone aur shakal dono sudhar aur jake Advait ko lekar aa" He ordered sternly.
Abhishek gulped realising he had crossed the limit but thought to retort "Mai nahi jaa raha kahi" He replied keeping his tone low.
Reyansh held his ear and twisted it hardly enough to make his eyes teary "Jyada batmeezi aa gayi hai ha." He said giving another hard twist to his ear.
"Bhai please leave it's hurting." Abhishek managed to say.
"Ek thappad me saari badtameezi nikal jayegi Abhishek, agar sir par chadana aata hai to utarna bhi bohot acche se aata hai" Reyansh warned him to finally leave his ear.
Instantly Abhishek started rubbing his ear to ease out the pain.
"Go." Reyansh just said this and Abhishek scurried away from there for the garden.
He entered the garden to find his bhaiya holding his head in hands.
Abhishek got worried seeing him like this he ran to his side "Bhaiya" He said putting his hand on his shoulder.
Advait looked up at him. His eyes were watery some tears were pricking out from the corner of his eyes, his forehead was covered with tensed lines.
Abhishek felt something twisted inside his stomach seeing his bhaiya in this state, he instantly sat in front of him.
"Bhaiya kya hua aap ro kyu rahe hain?" He asked, his own voice was cracked.
Advait wiped off his face and smiled slightly "Kuch nahi hua baccha, meri aankhon me dust chali gayi thi." He made an excuse.
Abhishek looked at him skeptically.
"Hume jhoot bolne ke liye mana karte hain aur khud bolte hain." He made a remark directly looking at his eyes.
Advait averted his gaze and sighed "You're crying because of me na." Abhishek asked but his tone was more of saying.
"Nahi baccha aisa kuch nahi hai." Advait replied not to put him in guilt.
"Aisa hi hai i was being grumpy and showing you attitude please don't cry bhaiya i'm not upset with you sachii." Abhishek said taking his hands in his.
"You were being grumpy because I shouted at you for nothing.... I love you all equally beta. I'm really sorry to make you feel like that." Advait said while trying to hold his ears but Abhishek instantly jerked them down "don't do that please." He muttered making Advait smiled at him.
"I am sorry for being rude to you please forgive me." Abhishek put his head on his lap.
Advait smiled and pecked the top of his head lovingly, "I love you bhaiya." Abhishek said kissing his hand "Love you too bhaiya ki jaan." Advait replied while caressing his hair.
They sat there for some time in the silence and then Abhishek looked up at him.
"Ab andar chale? Andar chal kar ek aur task complete karna hai mujhe." Abhishek said while standing up.
Advait furrowed his brows "what task?" He also got up from his place.
"Rey bhai ko manana hai i mistakenly used the wrong tone with him." He admitted sheepishly.
Advait glared at him "Apne mood swings par control karna sikh beta, koi baat nahi abhi Rey ache se tujhe sikha dega." He started with firmness but his tone was teasing at the end of the sentence.
"Bhaiya please bachalo." He pleaded with him but Advait shrugged his shoulders in response.
Advait went inside and Abhishek reluctantly followed him with small steps.
Advait directly went to the kitchen to make coffee for himself. Reyansh was already present there making coffee for himself.
"Theek hai tu?" Reyansh asked while stirring his coffee.
"Hmm, mere liye bhi ek cup bana de." Advait said leaning on the counter.
Abhishek entered and back hugged Reyansh making him smile but he masked his smile and facade a stern look.
"Sorry bhai." Abhi said tightening his hold.
Reyansh moved out of his grip and turned to look at him.
"Advait kisi se bol de mai gussa hu mujhe baat nahi karni" Reyansh said feigning anger.
"Bhaiya kisi se keh dein mai unhe mana lunga aur baat bhi karke rahunga" Abhishek replied matching his tone.
"Don't drag me into this. I'm out." Advait said surrendering his hands and left the kitchen.
Abhishek pouted looking at his retreating figure as his last hope of support left him alone.
Reyansh again engrossed in making coffee. Abhishek poked his arm but got no reply he did that three times getting no answers from him.
"Nahi karoge baat final bata do aap?" Abhi asked pointing his finger at him.
"Mana raha hai ya dhamka raha hai?" Reyansh asked raising his eyebrows.
"Mai aise hi manata hu aur apko manna padega" He replied.
"Mai to ni maan raha, jaa yaha se." Reyansh said dismissively.
Abhi glared at him for a few seconds making Reyansh raise his brows.
"Sorry na" He said leaning on Reyansh. Reyansh instantly wrapped his arms around him.
He smiled feeling his protective grip around him "Kar diya na maaf?" he asked hugging him tightly.
"Aur koi option h?" Reyansh asked for chuckling.
Abhishek shook his head while burying his head on his chest.
"Mere liye bhi coffee bana do." He said looking up at him.
"Bhag yaha se!!" Reyansh said giving him a gentle teasing push outside to the kitchen.
After that they went to the mall for shopping and then to the gaming zone. The kids enjoyed a lot there they were not ready to leave the place.
Advait and Reyansh had to drag them outside of the gaming zone and lastly they ended up their day with a heart warming and delicious dinner.
Reyansh and Vanya left for their home and Advait went on his way with his kids. The ride to the home was silent because their energy got drained after enjoying the day so much.
Advait had to pick the kids to their rooms
He settled three of them in his room and adjusted himself beside them after kissing their foreheads and felt in a peaceful slumber.
