Chapter 14
Arush opened his eyes and looked here and there for his bhaiya, a pout formed on his face when he didn't find him anywhere near him.
He slowly stood up and made his way to Advait's room. He entered the room without knocking and saw his bhaiya was sleeping peacefully.
He silently hopped on the bed and laid beside him snuggling to his chest. Advait opened his eyes from the sudden warmth and looked at the figure laying beside him.
His lips curved into a smile and he pecked his forehead lovingly. Arush looked up at him and snuggled more.
"Aap mujhe chorke kyu aa gaye mai dar gaya tha." Arush complained cutely.
Advait chuckled and kissed his cheeks. He got up from his position and picked up his phone to check the time. It was 5 in the evening.
Usually he didn't sleep during the day but the previous emotional turmoil took a toll over him and he slept.
He looked beside him to see Arush again lost in his peaceful slumber. He slightly shook his head smiling.
"Aru, bohot so liya uth jaa ab warna raat me neend nahi aayegi." He told him.
"Abhi nahi uthna bhaiya aap bhi so jao na please." Arush mumbled sleepily.
"No, get up." Advait said firmly.
Arush pouted but obliged. Advait washed his face to freshen up. He left the room and thought to check on Aditya. He was about to go to his room when a sweet voice interrupted him.
"Bhaiya!"
Advait turned behind to see Vanya was standing there with her cute smile. Advait smiled and got down on his knees to match her height.
"Hello Princess!" Advait said.
"Aap kaha the? Mai aap ko itni der se dundh rahi hu aapke room me bhi nahi the aap." She complained, crossing her little arms over her chest.
Advait smiled "Mai to apne room me hi tha, aapne nahi dekha hoga."
Vanya shrugged.
"Akele aaye ho aap?" Advait asked pinching her cute little nose.
She shook her head "Bhaiya bhi aaye hain neeche Abhi bhai ke sath hain."
Advait nodded "Adi, kaha hai?" She further asked.
"Apne room me hoga tum usey bula kar laao mai rey se mil leta hu hm." Advait told her.
She nodded her head and left. Advait went downstairs to met Reyansh.
Abhishek and Reyansh were already sitting there talking with each other. Arush was playing game in Abhishek's phone.
Advait descended the stairs and Arush quickly hide the phone behind him.
"Aru, kisne phone diya tujhe?" Advait asked narrowing his eyes.
Abhishek quickly stood up and snatched the phone from him before Advait could confiscate it.
"Bhaiya wo maine diya tha." Abhishek muttered meekly.
"Ab bechara bachha phone bhi na chalaye." Reyansh remarked.
Arush pouted and muttered "Wahi to." Advait raised his brow making him look down.
Advait turned towards Reyansh "Ye bechara bachha din bhar phone hi chalata rehta hai bohot screen time badh gaya hai iska."
"Aur abhi tu..." Advait was about to say something but cut off by Vanya. She came running downstairs.
"Bhaiya, adi to apne room me nahi hai." She said.
"Yahi kahi ghar me hoga beta." Advait replied, his own tone was unassured.
"Maine har jagah check kiya mujhe nahi mila." She informed.
Advait furrowed his brows, he looked at Abhishek saying "Abhi, tu usey manane gaya tha na?"
Abhishek nodded, "Ji bhaiya meri usse baat bhi huyi thi uske baad usne bola usey neend aa rahi hai to mai bhi apne room me chala gaya."
Advait face etched with concern and worry. Reyansh noticed it and put his hand on his shoulder.
"Relax, ghar me hi kahi hoga mai dekhta hu." Reyansh said and left to search for him in the mansion.
Advait and Abhishek also started searching in the garden, kitchen and study room but he was no where.
Advait called for him but got no response. He started panicking with the passing time, his breath hitched in his throat, his hands got sweaty. Abhishek was also concerned. He even searched on the terrace but he wasn't there also.
Arush and Vanya searched in the backyard but Aditya was not there. They came back in the living room.
Arush went to kaka, "Kaka, aapne adi bhai ko dekha?"
"Haan maine usey thodi der pehle bahar jate huye dekha tha maine pucha to usne kaha thodi der me aa jayega aur bina kuch sune bhaag gaya." Kaka replied.
Arush hurriedly emerged in the living room and told Advait about it.
Reyansh also came down and he suggested Advait to check CCTV footage. Advait almost forgot about it in panic.
They checked the CCTV. In the footage, Aditya was showing exiting the mansion. But he didn't shown up exiting the main gate. Advait and Reyansh exchange confused glances.
"Backyard ki footage check kar." Reyansh suggested.
Advait nodded and played the backyard footage in which Aditya was showing sneakingly climbing up the mansion's wall with the help of the stairs to sneak out.
Advait become infuriated, he slammed his hand on the desk with the intensity that it broke the table.
"Pagal ho gaya hai, kya kar raha hai?" Reyansh quickly hold his hand.
Advait didn't reply and left the security room in anger. He went outside, all the guards were standing in front of him with their hands behind backs and heads hung low.
Advait was standing in rage. His eyes were showing pure anger. Reyansh was standing a little distance away.
"What a shame!" Advait said through gritted teeth. "Ek 12 saal ka bachha tum logo ke naak ke neeche se nikal jaata hai aur tumhe pata hi nahi lagta." Advait yelled making them flinch.
"Sorry sir." The security head said.
"Do hell with your sorry, you all are nothing but useless." He shouted.
Reyansh came forward and put his hand on his shoulder. "Calm down, Advait."
"Agar mere bachhe ko kuch bhi hua na ek ek ki jaan apne hatho se nikalunga." Advait warned making them gulp in fear.
"Go and find him." Advait ordered sharply.
All the guards quickly left the place and started searching for Aditya.
Advait and Reyansh also settled in the car, Reyansh was on driving seat and Advait settled on the passenger seat. Reyansh drove away from the mansion and they started searching on the streets.
Their eyes were dying to caught a familiar figure but all they could see was a crowd, a bustling city.
Advait breathing started getting heavily. He started getting difficulty in breathing. His face etched with discomfort. An uneasiness settled on his chest.
Reyansh looked at Advait's condition, he was getting a panic attack. After his mother's demise he started experiencing panic attacks but not regularly unless the situation didn't worsen. Reyansh was aware of his medical conditions.
He quickly made him lean back on the seat and gave him a water bottle. Advait refused to drink the water and asked while breathing heavily "Aa Adi kaha hai?"
"Yahi kahi hoga tu shaant ho jaa pehle, mil jayega tu panic hona band kar. Relax take a deep breath." Reyansh told him.
"Agar us...usey kuch ho gaya to....kaha gaya mera bachha." Advait was getting out of breath. His condition got worse, his mother's lifeless body hanging off the fan was flashing in front of his eyes.
Reyansh was also getting worried looking at his condition, he firmly made him look at him "look at me, take a deep breath.
Sab theek hai mil jayega adi aaya samajh me.
Shaant ho jaa bilkul....relax and try to match my breath.
" He said firmly and started taking deep breaths so that Advait could follow.
Advait followed him and took some deep breaths. He got a little bit relaxed, his breathing was still heavy but steady. Reyansh made him drink some water.
Reyansh drove to the playground but Aditya was not there.
On the other side, in the mansion Arush and Vanya were crying and Kaka was trying to console them.
Abhishek was also concerned but controlled himself. He had to provide comfort to Vanya and Arush.
"Aru, Vani please chup ho jao bhaiya aur bhai gaye hai na adi ko dhundne wo mil jayega please rona band kar do." Abhishek told them but his own voice was wavering slightly.
"Abhi sahi keh raha hai bachho, abhi thodi der me adi aata hi hoga rona band kar do." Kaka said taking them in a hug.
Abhishek was pacing here and there in tension then his gaze stopped on the figure standing in front of him.
"Adi!" Abhishek whispered, a wide smile spread on his face.
Arush and Vanya swiftly looked at the direction. Aditya was standing on the door.
Abhishek ran to him and hugged him, Arush and Vanya followed him and squeezed him in the hug.
Aditya was oblivious to the tension parted away from them and casually asked "Kya hua mai koi award jeet kar aaya hu kya jo itna pyar loota rahe ho sab."
"Kaha gaya tha tu ha kitne pareshan ho gaye the hum log." Abhishek scolded.
"Aur nahi to kya bata kar nahi jaa sakte the." Arush followed the lead.
"Mai ab tujhse bilkul baat nahi karungi." Vanya said turning her face away.
"Vanuuuuu!" Aditya whined ignoring his brother's scoldings.
Abhishek and Arush looked offended while kaka called the Advait to inform him.
Advait got a call from home, he picked it up. "Aditya ghar aa gaya hai." Kaka said from the other side.
Advait exhaled a breath he didn't know he was holding. His face contorted with relief and he informed Reyansh. They made their way back to home.
