Chapter 22
The next morning, Advait woke up by the sound of the alarm ringing and followed his morning routine. He freshened up and took a bath, then prepared himself for his dreading gym session.
He worked out for two hours and headed to his room from the gym. He again took a nice bath to relax his tensed muscles.
He didn't wake up the kids as it was a Saturday so the holiday in the school.
He entered the living room and thought to make breakfast for his brothers to surprise them. He started preparing for breakfast and made their favourites.
He himself thought to take a leave from the office and spend his day with his kids.
After preparing the breakfast, he headed to his brother's room to wake them up.

They were sat at the dining table and ready to have their breakfast. Abhishek was still upset and a slight pout was formed on his face. Advait noticed it but chose to ignore it as he didn't want to lecture him so early in the morning.
A wide smile came across their faces as kaka lifted the lids from the bowls. They all three beamed with joy looking at their favorite dishes in front of them.
"Wow kaka aaj kuch special hai kya?" Aditya asked excitedly.
Kaka shrugged, "Apne bhaiya se pucho."
Aditya looked at Advait with a confused glance.
"Ye sab aapne banaya hai?" Abhishek asked before Aditya could say something.
Advait nodded with satisfaction after looking at Abhishek's smiling face.
"Thank you, bhaiya." Arush kissed his cheeks with a smile.
Advait chuckled and ruffled his hair, "Bas ab khana shuru karo chalo."
Arush picked up his favorite sandwiches and Abhishek digged fork in his favorite chocolate pancakes.
Aditya's mouth was stuffed with the garlic bread.
They were happily enjoying their breakfast. Advait was looking at them with soft eyes, it was the only sight he could see for his whole life and still got never tired of it.

Advait was working on some files in his study when again Abhishek entered the study but this time without permission as he was really impatient to get the permission for the party.
Advait looked up from the file, "Knock karna nahi aata?"
That was when he realized he entered without permission, "Sorry bhaiya bhool gaya."
Advait shook his head and said, "Kaho kya hua?"
Abhishek fidgeted his fingers and looked here and there in nervousness, "Bhaiya wo party me jane dijiye na please bas thodi der ke liye."
Advait hardened his gaze and he stood up making him took two steps back in fear.
He stood in front of him and crossed his arms over his chest, "Kal maine kya kaha tha?"
Abhishek looked down, "Mana kiya tha." he meekly replied.
"To aaj bhi same hi answer hai ek raat me aisa kya ho gaya jo mai apna decision change kar lunga." Advait scolded him.
"Please!" Abhishek gave him a pleading look.
"Maine tujhe already mana kar diya hai agar iske baad bhi tujhe jana hai to tu jaa sakta hai par phir mujhse baat mat karna aa gaya samajh." He frustratingly said.
Abhishek looked at him and blinked away his tears mumbling, "Nahi jana mujhe." he left the room.
Advait sighed looking at his retreating figure and pulled his hair in frustration. His over protectivness would never allow him to permit his brothers for a night party but he also could not bear the sadness on his brother's face.
Abhishek barged into his room and angrily typed the message to Akash, "Bhaiya nahi maane mai nahi aa paunga. Sorry!" he tapped the sent button and threw his phone on the bed.
His vision got blurred due to the tears, he tried his best to not to cry but Advait's words that 'he will not talk to him if he went to the party' echoing in his mind.
He stood up and entered the bathroom to wash his face. On the other side, Advait was feeling guilty to scold him, he could not able to focus on his work so he stood up and headed to Abhishek's room.
The door was opened, he entered the room and it was empty. The bathroom's light was open indicating Abhishek must be in there.
He sat on the bed and started scrolling through his phone when Abhishek's phone which was laying on the bed pinged with a notification.
Advait ignored it but again the sound of a notification came to his ear. This time he looked over at the phone but again ignored it and started scrolling in his phone.
Abhishek's phone pinged for the third time and this time Advait picked up his phone with an irritating expression to silent it but the notifications caught his attention.
It was the messages from Akash.
"Aree yaar."
"Chal koi baat nahi."
"Apna sneak out ka plan to ready hi hai na."
Advait's eyes hardened after looking at the messages, his fingers curled tightly around the phone as if he'll crushed the phone in his fury. It took everything he had in him to not throw the phone at the wall.
He left his phone there and exited the room in anger without talking to Abhishek.
He was going straight to his room when he bumped into Reyansh.
Reyansh looked at him narrowing his eyes, "Kaha ghoom raha hai bhai room me bhi nahi tha apne."
But Advait ignored him and headed to his room, he bursted open the door and sat on the bed running his hand over his hair in anger. Reyansh followed him and got concerned after looking at him this angry.
"Kya hua bhai?" Reyansh placed his hand on his shoulder.
Advait didn't reply and took a few deep breaths, Reyansh handed him a glass of water from the bed side table and he gulped down the few sips.
"Ab bata kya hua itne gusse me kyu hai?" Reyansh asked, his voice was urgent and filled with concern.
"Kuch nahi hua yaar pareshaan aa gaya hoon mai kuch samajh nahi aata kya chal raha hai." Advait said rubbing his forehead.
"Relax, shaant ho jaa pehle." Reyansh said rubbing his shoulder to ease the tension building up in his body.
Advait inhaled deeply and calmed down.
Reyansh calmly asked, "Ab bata kya hua hai?"
"Abhi aaj sneak out karne wala hai." Advait said, his jaw clenched.
"What? aur ye baat tujhe kisne batayi?" Reyansh asked confusingly.
"Uske friend ke messages dekhe maine." He replied.
"Tune uska phone check kiya?" Reyansh asked narrowing his eyes.
"Nahi yaar bed par rakha hua tha bas meri nazar chali gayi aur maine messages padh liye." Advait replied in irritation.
"Dekh Advi, agar tu ye baat Adi ya Aru ke liye bolta to mai maan leta but Abhi aisa karega mai ye nahi maan sakta uska bas chale to wo saans bhi tujhse puch kar le wo tujhe bina bataye sneak out nahi kar sakta." Reyansh said confidently.
Advait sighed, "Usne pucha tha mujhse party ke liye but maine mana kar diya aur ab wo sneak out plan kar raha hai."
"Kyu mana kar diya?" Reyansh further asked.
Advait looked and glared at him, "Night party hai."
Reyansh nodded and took a moment, "kaha par?"
"Uske friend ke ghar par." He replied.
"To phir problem kya hai party ghar par hi hai na konsa kisi club me hai tu usey drop and pick kar lena guards ko bhi sath bhej dena isme mana karne wali kya baat hai." Reyansh chided him.
Advait averted his gaze as he knew he was being over protectivne and there was nothing wrong to let him go to that party.
Reyansh was well aware of his friend's over possessive behavior he understood the situation and calmly made him understand, "Mai teri feelings samajh raha hu bhai par tu bhi Abhi ko samajh, he's just a teenager agar tu aaj usey party ke liye allow nahi karega to wo sneak out nahi karega is baat ki guarantee mai tujhe deta hu magar tu usey khud se dur jarur kar lega, over protectiveness ko suffocation me badalte huye time nahi lagta. "
Advait looked at him for a few minutes and gulped down the weight of his words. The realization dawned upon him and he thought maybe his love and over care had become a suffocation for his brothers. His over protective nature had been transformed as controlling.
"You're right, mai apni insecurities ki wajah se apne bacchon ko baandh kar nahi rakh sakta." Advait said, more to make himself understand.
Reyansh smiled and patted his shoulder, "Jaa ab Abhi se baat kar jaa kar."
"Aur wo sneak out ka plan?" Advait asked his voice tensed.
"Aree tu usse ek baar baat to kar I'm sure tujhe koi misunderstanding huyi hogi mera buddy aisa nahi karega." Reyansh said proudly.
Advait looked at distant, "Yakeen to mujhe bhi nahi hota agar maine messages na dekhe hote."
"Assumptions lagane band kar aur jaa kar usse baat kar." Reyansh pushed him.
Advait nodded.
"Tab tak mai bhi Adi se mil kar aata hoon suna hai kal kuch jyada hi khaatirdaari kardi aapne uski." Reyansh sarcastically said and glared at him making him rolled his eyes in return.
