Chapter 138
Advait was in his room working on the laptop when Shreya entered the room. She walked to him and shut down his laptop. He looked up with a raised brow only to notice her narrow eyes. He stood up from his place.
"What happened, love?" He asked softly.
"Ye kya din bhar aap laptop me ghuse rehte hain?" She chided gently.
He stepped forward, "To phir aaiye aap me ghus....
"SHUT UP!" She yelled to hide her embarrassment and slapped on his bicep, "Kitne besharam hain aap."
He chuckled and brushed his nose with hers, "Sirf aapke liye." He whispered.
"Ye flirt karna band kijiye aur meri help kijiye." She said, "Thodi der me jeweler aane wala hai aur mere liye jewelery aap select karenge." She ordered.
He wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her closer, "Anything else, mam?" He husked near her ear.
She slowly snaked her hands around his neck and feigned to think, "Soch kar bataungi." She giggled.
"Accha ji." He picked her up and twirled her around making her giggle loudly.

Shreya and Sia were sitting in the hall. The jeweler was sitting in front of them with a young boy sitting beside him. The boy was showing them the jewellery and the jeweler was advertising the pieces. Shreya and Sia's focus was fixed on the shining pieces in front of them.
"Ye dekho kaisa lag raha hai?" Shreya asked, showing a necklace to Sia.
"Antique lag raha hai." Vanya who was entering the hall, said in a loud tone.
Shreya and Sia looked up to her, Vanya sat down on the sofa beside them, "Ye design bohot old ho chuka hai, bhabhi. Bohot boring lag raha hai, kuch new dekhiye na." She said.
"Vani." Sia hushed her and she rolled her eyes.
"Tum college nahi gayi aaj?" Shreya asked.
"Nope." She replied, "Mujhe pata tha aap meri Sia di ke liye aise hi boring designs pasand karengi islie mai khud yahan aa gayi unke liye best select karne." She chirped.
Shreya rolled her eyes, "Maharani." She muttered under her breath.
Vanya had started selecting jewellery for Sia. Shreya was also choosing anklets for Sia and Sia sat down confused between the two.
Sadhwi entered the hall with a juice tray in her hand.
She placed down the tray on the table and handed it to the jeweler and the boy sitting beside him.
Sadhwi was handing him the glass of the juice when he intentionally wrapped his palm around the glass over her hand.
Sadhwi felt uncomfortable and looked up at him only to notice he was giving her a cheap smirk.
He eyed her lustily making her feel disgusted by him.
Sadhwi pulled back her hand and the glass fell down on the floor, grabbing everyone's attention.
"So-Sorry." Sadhwi said in fear.
"Koi baat nahi, Sadhwi. Tum jao." Shreya said.
Sadhwi vigorously nodded her head and went away from there in fear.
She went to the kitchen and took deep breaths to calm down her racing heartbeat.
But she was oblivious that someone had noticed everything.
Advait was standing on the staircase and noticing everything.
He marched towards the boy and punched him on the face catching him off guard.
Everyone stood up from their places in shock but Advait again punched him on the nose.
"Advait, kya hua? Aap usey maar kyun rahe hain?" Shreya clutched his arm and tried to stop him.
"Ye kya kar rahe hain, aap?" The jeweler asked angrily.
Sadhwi heard the sound and ran back to the hall. Her eyes widened in bewilderment looking at the scene in front of her. Advait stopped when his gaze landed on her.
"Idhar aao, tum." He told her.
Sadhwi had started crying in fear, she shook her head. She thought Advait was calling her to beat her like he was beating the boy. Her eyes brimmed with the tears.
"Bhaiya, kya hua hai?" Sia spoke up.
"Yahan aao, Sadhwi." Advait raised his voice.
She hesitantly walked to him. Her hands were trembling at her sides. Everyone's face was etched up with the confusion.
"Isne tumhe pareshan kiya?" He asked in a soft voice, not to scare her.
Sadhwi glanced between the Advait and the boy's bruised face. She nodded her head meekly and it was enough for Advait to threw an another punch on his face. He slapped him, jerking his face to the side.
"Mere hi ghar me ghus kar, mere hi behen ko chedta hai." Advait shouted. He was gripping him by his collar and landed a punch on his jaw.
"Jaane dijiye sahab baccha hai, galati ho gayi." The jeweler said to protect him.
Advait glared at his soul making him shrink on his place, "Get out." He gritted out his teeth.
"Par ye....
Advait cut him off in between, "Ye ab yahan se seedha jail jayega. Tumhe bhi jaana hai to yaheen ruko." He told him making the jeweler scurried away from there.
"Sir, galati ho gayi. Phir kabhi nahi karunga, police ko mat bulaiye please." The boy begged.
But Advait ignored him and looked at Sia, "Police ko call kar." He said and Sia nodded her head before dialling the number.
Advait looked at Sadhwi who was crying rivers by now, "Thappad lagao isey." He instructed her.
She shook her head but obliged when Advait glared at her. She slapped him lightly on his cheek making him embarrassed.
"Aise maarte hain thappad?" Advait asked her in a sarcastic tone. She looked down, wiping off her tears.
"Vani, idhar aa." Advait called her and She stepped forward, "Thappad kaise maarte hain isey seekha." He said.
Vanya smiled and slapped the boy making him fell down on the sofa. The sound of the slap echoed in the room flinching everyone and Vanya dusted off her hands coolly. The police arrived and arrested the boy after recording the complaint. Shreya wrapped ar arm around Sadhwi in a comforting manner.
"Tumne humein usi waqt kyun nahi bataya, Sadhwi?" Shreya asked politely.
"Mai dar gayi thi." She replied in a low voice.
"Maine tumse kaha tha na bina galati ke darne ki koi jarurat nahi hai. Itni weak ho tum ki tumhe protection ke liye dusron ki jarurat hai?" Advait scolded her.
"Bhaiya, wo already dari huyi hai aap baad me gussa kar lena." Sia said earning herself a glare.
Advait went away from there. Vanya wiped off Sadhwi's tears and said, "Tum na Abhi bhai ke saath gym join karlo, wo tumhe acche se train kar denge ki in logo ko kaise handle karna hai."
Sia's mind drifted back and she blushed remembering Abhishek's physique.

Advait was in his study working on the laptop. He looked up with a frown when he heard a knock on the door as no one came uninvited in his study. He granted the permission to enter the person and Sadhwi entered the room with a meek look on her face.
"Kuch kaam tha?" Advait asked.
She nodded, "Aap ko thank you bolna tha." She replied.
"Thank you? Kyun?" He asked, knitting his brow together.
"Aapne mere liye us ladke ko maara aur mu-mujhe galat nahi samjha." She said, looking down.
Advait looked at her before sighing, "Mai tumhe kyun galat samjhunga, beta?" He asked.
"Wo... " She was about to speak when stopped in between.
"Bolo?" He encouraged her.
"Wo mai... mere gaon me ek ladka mujhe pareshan karta tha to maine mami ko bataya tha par unhone mujhe hi maara aur...aur kaha ki maine hi kuch kiya hoga." She told him, remembering the incident. She felt scared when she remembered the beating.
Advait clenched his jaw angrily but calmed himself down as he didn't want to scare her more. He stood up from his place and walked to her.
"Dekho, tumhari mami ne tumhare saath jo kuch bhi kiya wo galat tha. Koi agar tumhe pareshan kar raha hai isme tumhari koi galati nahi hai islie aaj ke baad tumhe darne ki koi jarurat nahi hai." He said calmly.
"Aur sabse important baat, har roj tumhe bachaane ke liye koi nahi aayega.
Tumhe khud apne dar ka saamna karna seekhna hoga.
Yahan tumhe koi galat nahi samjhega. Jaise mere liye Abhi, Adi aur Aru hain waise hi tum ho.
Tum galati karogi to mai jarur tumhe daantunga magar bewajah mujhse ya kisi aur se darne ki koi jarurat nahi hai.
" He made her understand and patted her head like an elder brother.
Sadhwi smiled at his gentle words and nodded her head, "I promise sir, mai ab se kisi se nahi darungi." She said.
"Sir bulane ki jarurat nahi hai." He said.
"Par aap mujhse bade hain mai aapko Advait bulaungi to accha nahi lagega." She said innocently.
Advait closed his eyes praying for the patience and opened them, "Bhaiya bula sakti ho na?" He asked.
"Oh haan, ye to maine socha hi nahi." Sadhwi said, slapping her forehead.
Advait rolled his eyes, "Ab jao aur jaa kar padhai karo." He said. She sulked but obeyed when he pointed a glare and scurried away from the room making Advait chuckled at her antics.

The Malhotra Mansion was decorated with the roses as per Sia's liking.
It was the day of the engagement and everyone was busy doing the arrangements for the guests.
The hall was filled with the politicians and businessmens.
Everyone was invited for the engagement of Abhishek and Sia.
They were the headlines of the newspapers and a few media people were also invited.
Everyone looked up when the couple stepped down the stairs together.
Their hands were mingled with each other and their faces were contorted with a smile.
The couple were contrasting with each other, they both were wearing off white with the work of gold embroidery.
Sia was wearing a saree and it was going well with her complexion.
She was looking effortlessly beautiful in her look.
She kept her make-up subtle and simple and didn't go for a heavy look but the glow on her face was unmatched to any make-up.
Abhishek was standing tall and handsome beside her, he was wearing a white fitted blazer with the white shirt underneath.
They were looking perfect for each other.
They stepped down the stairs and everyone clapped their hands. Tia stepped forward and hugged her sister tightly, "Bohot pyari lag rahi hai." She praised her making her smile.
"Aap dono bohot acche lag rahe hain." Vanya said with a smile.
Abhishek and Sia made their ways to the stage and sat down on the couch. Sia smiled looking at the decoration of her favorite flower.
"Acche lage?" Abhishek asked.
"Tumne mere liye karwaya hai?" She asked with the twinkling eyes.
"Nahi, bhaiya ne karwaya hai. Wo chahte hain sab kuch tumhari pasand ka ho." He replied making her pout.
"Kam se kam mera dil rakhne ke liye hi jhooth bol dete." She whispered with a smile as everyone was looking at them.
"Shaadi hone jaa rahi hai humari, rishte ki shuruaat jhooth se thodi na kar sakta hoon." He teased.
"Baat baat par jhooth bolne wale insaan ke muh se ye baatein shobha nahi deti." She said playfully.
"Engagement karne stage par baithe hain hum, kam se kam ab to ladna band kar do mujhse." He said.
"Ek hi shart par." She countered.
"Kya?" He asked.
"Tumhe mere saath dance karna hoga." She demanded.
"Isse accha to lad hi lo." He murmured.
"Abhi, please." She said, giving him the puppy eyes.
He sighed, "Fineee." He sang. She clapped her hands in excitement.
Vanya hopped on the stage with the decorated basket in her hand, "Ab baatein karne ke liye poori zindagi padi hai aap logo ke paas. Pehle engagement kar lijiye sab log wait kar rahe hain." She said making everyone laugh.
She handed them the rings and stepped down off the stage.
Abhishek and Sia stood up from their places and stand in front of each other.
Abhishek glanced at her before sitting down on a knee and the youngsters hooted in a teasing manner.
Sia blushed profusely as she didn't expect him to did this.
He forwarded his hand and she placed her hand on his.
He gently pushed the ring in her finger and kissed on it.
Sia's eyes teared up remembering all the struggles she had done to witness this moment.
Abhishek stood up from his place and it was her turn to made him wear the ring.
She was looking into his eyes to capture the beautiful memory in her heart.
"Irada badal liya kya, bhabhi?" Aditya teased because she was taking time.
Sia narrowd her eyes at him feigning anger and shifted her attention to Abhishek. She gently put the ring on his finger and kissed on it just like Abhishek did. The room erupted in a loud cheers and a huge round of applause.
Everyone had started enjoying the party, the guests were having food, drinks and swaying with the beats of the music. When Aditya appeared in the middle of the room with a mic in his hand.
"Ladies and gentlemen." He said, "Dil dhaam kar baithiye kyunki ab baari hai humare to-be-wedded couple ke dance performance ki." He announced with a charming smile.
Aditya looked at Sia and winked at her who showed him a thumbs up in return. Abhishek's eyes widened in anxiety and he stepped back slightly.
"Siyu, please tumhe pata haina....
"Tumne promise kiya tha." She said with a pout.
He looked at her and nodded with a anxious face.
"Relax, kuch nahi hoga. Mai hoon na. Tum bas mujhe dekhna aur ye humne pehle bhi to kiya haina." She encouraged him.
He took a deep breath and nodded his head. They made their way in the center of the room and the room erupted into the darkness. The spotlight fall on their bodies, highlighting them amidst the crowd. The soothing tune had started playing and they had started swaying.
Abhishek rested his hand on her waist and her hand was placed on his shoulder. They were moving left to right with the beats of the music. Their eyes were locked into each other's.
He opened his hand and she held his hand. She twirled a round and landed her palm on his chest. He gently turned her around and pressed her back against his front, his arms were wrapped around her waist from behind.
He placed his hand on her waist from the both sides and picked her up in the air before twirling her around. She opened her arms with a smile on her face. He took a few rounds, picking her up.
He gently placed her down and mingled his hand with hers. They gently moved left to right, locking their eyes into each other.
Abhishek was looking deep into her black orbs and she was drowning in his dark brown orbs. Their bodies were so close to each other and her heart skipped a beat inhaling his musky fragrance. They moved back when the loud cheers echoed in the room.
"Waah bhai, aag laga di." Aditya said with a grin on his face.
Advait panicked, "What? Kahan?" He asked.
"Bhaiya, aag laga di matlab literally aag nahi laga di." Arush spoke up, "Adi bhai ke kehne ka matlab hai performance bada dhaasu tha."
"What is dhaasu?" Advait asked again, making a weird face.
Aditya slapped his own forehead, "Genz language hai, bhaiya. Aap nahi samjhenge." He said coolly.
"Improve your vocabulary, idiots." Advait scolded making them pout.
Everyone laughed looking at their faces and they also joined them. The engagement function got happily over and the guests slowly started leaving the mansion.

Abhishek pushed open the door of his room and entered the room taking Sia behind him. He was holding her hand and made her stand in the middle of the room. A frown was settled on Sia's face.
"Ab to batao kyun le kar aaye ho mujhe yahan?" She asked.
"Pehle aankhein band karo apni." He instructed.
Sia looked at him before closing her eyes and he took out a box from inside his blazer's pocket with a hopeful smile on his face.
"Hmm ab aankhein khol sakti ho." He said.
She slowly opened her eyes and looked at him, then at his hand. She frowned looking at the box in his hand, "Ye kya hai?" She asked.
"Jo bhi hai tumhare liye hai. Tum khud dekh lo." He replied with a shrug.
She took the box from his hand and glanced at him before opening it. Her eyes twinkled in awe looking at the beautiful pendant in the box. She looked up at him with a wide smile on her face.
"Ye tumne mere liye liya?" She asked.
"Nahi, Aru ke liye liya hai. Accha lagega na us par?" He asked sarcastically.
Sia slapped his hand for the bad joke and took out the pendant from the box. She kept the box aside and brushed her fingers on the delicate jewelry.
"Bohot khoobsurat hai." She muttered.
"I know." He said proudly.
"Mai pehna doon?" He asked her sincerely.
She looked up and nodded her head before giving him the pendant.
She turned around and he brushed away her hair from the neck.
He placed the chain on her skin, his fingers brushed on the back of her neck and she sucked a sharp breath.
This small action of him was unintentionally intimate and something flipped inside her stomach.
He made her wear the pendant and gently soothed her hair before letting them fall perfectly.
He made her turn around and looked at her, "Ye sirf ek pendant nahi hai hai, ek promise hai.
Mai waada karta hoon ki tumhare alawa meri zindagi me kabhi koi aur ladki nahi hogi.
Mai iss rishte ko poore dil se ek moka dunga aur tumhare liye ek accha husband banunga jo tumhe sirf khushiyaan dega.
" He promised her. His eyes were staring back in her eyes and she could clearly see the sincerity and honesty in them.
