Chapter 137

The morning was filled with the chaos in the Malhotra Mansion.

After breakfast, Aditya and Arush were sitting in a T.V.

room despite Advait had told them to study.

They were watching an adult movie while munching on the chips.

Their gazes were fixed on the television screen when Abhishek entered the room and cleaned his throat like Advait to scare them.

Aditya and Arush quickly turn off the television before jumping up from their places, "Bhaiya bas padhne hi jaa rahe the." Aditya said but gave a betrayal look to Arush when he said, "Adi bhai ne bola tha T.V. dekhne ke liye."

They turned back when Abhishek had started laughing looking at their scared expressions, "Bhai yaaaaaar!" Arush whined.

Aditya gave Abhishek a look before turning on the television. He again slumped down on the couch followed by Arush. Abhishek walked to their sides and whacked them both on their heads.

"Bhaiya ne kya karne ke liye bola tha tum dono ko?" Abhishek asked, folding his arms over his chest.

Aditya mirrored his actions and crossed his arms over his chest, "Aap ko aaj office nahi jaana?" He asked.

"Bhai, saamne se hato important scene aa raha hai." Arush said, not moving his gaze off the screen.

Abhishek turned back and looked at the important scene.

He narrowed his eyes looking at the scene in front of him, there was the intimate scene was playing.

Aditya also peeked behind from Abhishek and curiosily looked at the screen.

Their eyes were glued to the screen and their faces were etched up with interest.

"Sharam hai teeno ko?" Advait's voice roared in the room, flinching them.

Aditya and Arush quickly stood up, facing Advait. Abhishek clicked his tongue and quickly turned back to Advait. Their faces turned red with the embarrassment.

"Kya chal raha tha ye?" Advait asked sharply.

"Abhi bhai dekh rahe the." Arush spoke up innocently.

Abhishek's eyes widened in betrayal, he quickly shook off his head to defend himself, "I swear bhaiya, mai nahi dekh raha tha." He said, "Ye dono movie dekh rahe the mai to abhi aaya."

"Tujhe mana kiya tha na maine movie dekhne se?" Advait asked to Aditya.

But before Aditya could answer, the moaning sound from the television echoed in the room making their eyes widened.

Advait closed his eyes to hide his frustration and glared at each of them.

Aditya quickly fumbled with the remote to turn off the television but in the quickness the volume increased and the sound of skin slapping had started echoing in the room turning their faces red with the embarrassment and shame.

Advait snatched the remote from his hand and turned off the television before whacking him on the head.

"Tum dono ko maine padhai karne ke liye kaha tha na?" Advait asked looking at Aditya and Arush.

"Biology hi to padh rahe the." Aditya muttered under his breath earning himself a death glare from Advait.

"S-Sorry." Aditya stuttered.

"Aur tujhe Sia ke saath jana tha na shopping karne ke liye to yahan kya raha tha?" Advait scolded Abhishek.

"Bas jaa hi raha tha, bhaiya...bye." Abhishek said and quickly escaped from there.

"Hum bhi padhne jaa rahe hain, bhaiya." Aditya spoke up to escape himself and about to run away from there when Advait had stopped him.

"Ruk." Advait said, "Apni books le kar dono meri study me aao." He said making their faces turned pale in fear.

"Bhaiya, hum khud padh lenge promise." Arush said but Advait had already left the room.

Advait walked into the living room where he noticed Sadhwi who was cleaning the table and a book was tucked under her arm. Advait narrowed her eyes looking at her and walked to her.

Sadhwi looked up to notice Advait and she quickly opened the book which was tucked under her arm, "What was that?" Advait asked.

She meekly looked up at him, "Aapne hi to kaha tha bina book ke nazar mat aana." She replied.

Advait looked at her incredulously, "Are you okay?" He asked in a serious but concerned tone.

She shrugged with a small smile, "Mai badhiya hoon, aap kaise hain?" She asked cheerfully.

Advait clenched his hands, barely holding himself to bang his head on the wall but then his gaze landed on the book she was holding. It was a comic book, she got from Arush.

Advait narrowed his eyes, "Maine tumhe comic book padhne ke liye kaha tha?" He asked sternly.

"Par aapne clearly konsi book padhni hai ye bhi nahi bataya tha." She replied innocently, fidgeting with her fingers.

Advait rubbed his palm over his face and closed his eyes to take a deep breath but when he opened his eyes Sadhwi was standing in front of him, forwarding a glass of water to him.

"What is this?" He asked in irritation.

"Aapki tabiyat kharab lag rahi hai, aap paani pilijiye." She said.

"Nahi peena mujhe paani. Tum piyo." He said frustratingly but looked at her in disbelief when she really drank the water.

He exhaled before taking a deep breath, "Ek kaam karo, apni books lo aur meri study me aao." He ordered, "Aur ye comic books ke saath mat aa jana. Academics books le kar aana." He cleared with the warning.

She bobbed her head but kept standing there. Advait was waiting for her to go but he went away from there, shaking his head when she didn't move from her place.

Abhishek was sitting on the couch in a jewelery shop. Sia was sitting beside him, trying the rings on her hand but she was very confused. She tried a ring on her finger and glanced at Abhishek for the approval but he shook his head. She again tried a ring but Abhishek disapproved it.

She sighed and looked at him in slight irritation, "Tum sab me naa hi kar rahe ho." She said.

"Kyunki wo mujhe acchi nahi lag rahi hain." He replied nonchalantly.

"To tum hi pasand karlo." She said.

"Fine." He muttered with a shrug and started finding the ring for her.

She was closely observing him and in her eyes he was looking more masculine while selecting a ring for her. His eyes were shifting from one ring to another to find the most beautiful ring for his to-be-wife.

"Try this one." He forwarded his hand for her to placed her hand on his but she swatted away his hand, "Abhi engagement nahi karni hai." She said and took the ring from his hand.

She tried the ring on her and her face contorted with the smile. She felt in awe because the ring was so beautiful. Abhishek looked at her hand and the ring was looking more beautiful on her finger.

"Beautiful." She murmured, brushing her fingers on the diamond.

"Indeed." Abhishek agreed making her smile.

She looked at him, "It's final. Ab tum apne liye select kar lo." She said making him raise his brow, "Maine tumhari help ki na ring select karne me, ab tum mere liye ring select karo." He told her.

She chuckled, "Fineee." She sang.

She selected a ring for him and he also liked it. After settling the bill, they both headed outside when Abhishek spoke up, "Tum gaadi me wait karo. I'm coming in a while." He told her, handing her the key.

She looked at him with furrowed brows, "Par tum kahan jaa rahe ho?" She asked.

"Ek important call karni hai. Tum jao, mai aata hoon." He said.

She nodded and went away from there to where the car was parked. She settled inside the car and turned on the music to wait for him. He returned back after fifteen minutes and quietly sat down on the driver's seat.

"Itna time kaise lag gaya?" Sia asked.

"Abhi se biwiyon wale sawaal karne shuru kar diye?" Abhishek said in a playful tone.

She rolled her eyes but the blush on her face had betrayed her. He chuckled and started the car. Their journey had been finally started.

Advait was sitting in his study. His focus was on his laptop screen.

His fingers were moving precisely on the keyboard.

There was the pin drop silence in the room.

Sadhwi was sitting on the couch, her books were scattered on the table in front of her.

Aditya and Arush were standing in the different corners with the books in their hands.

Their faces were scrunched up in a pout but even after getting the punishment Aditya's mind was not focusing on the study.

He was trying to think of the ways to put Sadhwi into the corner too.

Sadhwi's head was buried inside the book.

Her focus was on the letters, she was looking like an epitome of obedience.

But after a minute, she slowly looked up and poked out her tongue at Aditya to tease him making him narrow his eyes.

"Bhaiyaaaaa!" Aditya said deliberately to scared her.

She quickly shifted her attention to the book and sat up straight. Advait looked up, raising his brow in a questioning manner.

"Per dard ho rahe hain." Aditya said making an innocent face.

"Kuch learn kiya?" Advait asked.

Aditya looked down but Arush spoke up, "Maine 1 chapter kar liya, bhaiya." Aditya passed him a betrayal look.

"Mai baith jaun?" Arush asked with a smile.

"Hmm." Advait said and Arush quickly sat down with a sigh, "Book band kar aur jo yaad kiya hai wo likh." He added making Arush stood up from his place.

"Mai khada hi reh leta hoon." He muttered under his breath and walked to the corner.

Advait glared at his soul for lying but Sadhwi started giggling, "Padhai ho gayi tumhari?" He shifted her attention on her.

"Padhai kaise hogi, bhaiya mujhe chidane me busy thi ye." Aditya spoke up.

Advait shot him a look, "Tujhse pucha maine?"

"Meanie." Aditya mumbled.

Advait turned towards Sadhwi, "Book band karo aur jo yaad kiya hai wo likho." He told her.

Her face turned pale. But she closed her book and started scribbling in the notebook. After twenty minutes Advait noticed her that she was silently sitting and only glaring at the notebook.

"Sadhwi." He said, "Come here with your notebook."

Sadhwi gulped down but didn't stand up from her place. She was only glancing between Advait and the notebook.

"Yahan aao." Advait raised his voice a bit.

She quickly stood up and slowly walked to his side. He forwarded his hand in front of her and she meekly placed her notebook on his hand. He glanced at the white paper before glaring back at her.

"What is this?" He asked sharply, "Itni der me kuch bhi nahi likha tumne?"

The tears brimmed in her eyes listening to his sharp voice. He noticed her tears and exhaled a breath, "Har baat par rona kyun start kar deti ho?"

"Aru ki bandi haina islie." Aditya muttered under his breath.

"Sadhwi, tum ro mat please." Arush said gently, walking to her side.

Advait pointed his gaze on Arush, "Tujhe corner se bahar aane ke liye kisne kaha?"

"Wo ro rahi hai, bhaiya." He replied meekly.

"To tu uska babysitter hai?" Advait snapped at him making him look down.

"Go back to your place." He ordered and Arush walked back to the corner with a sad pout on his face.

Advait looked at Sadhwi and took a deep breath before exhaling, "Kuch yaad nahi tha?" He asked in a gentle voice.

She shook her head but then remembered that she had to give him a verbal response, "Nahi."

"To bata dena chahiye tha na. Itna time waste kiya. Pehle bata deti." He said softly.

"Mujhe aapse dar lag raha tha." She whispered.

"Mujhse dar lag raha tha? Kyun mai koi bhoot hoon?" Advait asked in sarcasm.

"Bhoot se kam bhi nahi hain." Aditya mumbled.

Advait looked up at him and threw a pen at his side but luckily he dodged it off, "Idiot." Advait muttered.

He shook off his anger and said in a soft voice, "Apni book le kar aao, mai help karta hoon."

She smiled and nodded her head before getting her book. She sat down on the chair beside Advait and he made her understand the topic in which she was having difficulty. She was liking the tone he was using with her while teaching her and at last she understood everything clearly.

The dinner table was set and everyone was seated on their respective chairs.

Angad was also present there despite the brother's liking.

Arush was sitting there with a pout on his face as he was upset with Advait because he had scolded him in the evening.

Advait stepped down the stairs and settled on his chair.

Everyone served themselves and started having the dinner.

"Shopping ho gayi teri aur Sia ki?" Advait asked to Abhishek.

"Ji bhaiya." Abhishek replied.

Shreya looked up, "Abhi, Sia ko kal ghar par bula lena. Maine kal jeweler ko ghar bulaya hai wo khud apne liye cheeze pasand kar legi agar uski pasand ki cheeze hongi to usey accha lagega." She said.

Abhishek smiled at her, "Ji bhabhi, keh dunga." He replied.

Advait noticed Arush was not eating, "Khana kyun nahi kha raha tu?" He asked.

Arush looked away with a huff, "Mai aapse baat nahi kar raha hoon. Aapne mujhe daanta tha." He complained.

Advait rolled his eyes, "I'm sorry for that, sir. Please khana kha lijiye." He said sincerely.

"Pehle daant do phir sorry bolo." Arush muttered.

"Aru....

Advait was about to speak when Angad spoke up, "Mai khilaun, Aru?" He asked.

Advait hesitantly glanced between the Angad and Arush, slightly wishing for Arush to deny but Arush stood up from his place and sat down beside Angad's chair forwarding his plate in front of him, "Aaj aap khila do." He said.

Angad smiled at that, Advait also tried to smile but an unknown feeling clawed at his chest. Abhishek and Aditya looked at Advait for any sign of discomfort but he smiled at them.

"Mujhe aapke haath se khana hai." Aditya said and slided his plate in front of Advait making him smile.

Advait made a morsel and fed Aditya by his hand but he was looking at Arush with the corner of his eyes.

The way Arush was smiling when Angad was feeding him the morsels was not settling right with him.

He hadn't had to feel this way but he was feeling possessive towards Arush because he was his kid.

He had raised him, he was the one who fed him by his hand till date and now someone was also experiencing the same thing that only Advait had deserved to feel.

The dinner had done and everyone went back to their rooms but Aditya headed towards the Arush's room to give him the piece of mind. He opened the door and Arush was sitting on the bed, scrolling on his phone. Aditya walked to him and whacked him on the back of his neck.

"Oww!" Arush jumped with the sudden jolt, "Maara kyun?" He asked looking up at Aditya.

"Dimaag hai tere andar?" Aditya scolded with an another whack.

"Oww bhaiya!" Arush muttered, rubbing the spot, "Kyun maar rahe ho, kya kiya maine?"

"Uss aadmi ke haath se khana khane ki kya jarurat thi?" Aditya asked, "Waise to tu bhaiya ke haath se khana khane ke liye rota rehta hai aur aaj uss aadmi ne ek baar bola aur chala gaya uske paas khana khane?" He asked sharply.

"To kya hua khana hi to khaya hai aur aap ye kaise baat kar rahe hain. Wo bade hain aapse." Arush replied.

"Jyada gyaan mat de mujhe." He snapped, whacking his arm.

"Teri in harkaton ki wajah se bhaiya ko kitna bura laga hoga." He told him.

"Par isme bura lagne wali kya baat hai?" Arush asked.

"Accha?" Aditya asked mockingly, "Jab bhaiya mujhe ya bhai ko jyada pyar karte hain to tujhe bura nahi lagta? Aise hi unka baccha agar kisi aur se jyada pyar karega to unhe bura nahi lagega?" He asked.

Arush pouted, "Par maine unko bura lagane ke liye nahi kara? Mai bhaiya se sabse jyada pyar karta hoon. Wo to dad ne bola islie maine kha liya." He replied feeling guilty.

Aditya whacked him again, "Ek baat apne kaan aur dimaag dono khol kar sun le, Arush. Wo aadmi humara dad nahi hai aur agar maine aaj ke baad tujhe uss aadmi ko dad bolte huye sun liya na to phir tujhe aur kuch bolne layak nahi chordunga mai." He warned dangerously, glaring at his soul.

Arush gulped down seeing the glimpse of his bhaiya in Aditya. He quickly nodded his head in fear.

"You better be go to bhaiya and make up to him." Aditya said and walked away from there.
