Chapter 146

The next morning, the Malhotras were settled in the dining room.

The breakfast table was set and the fresh aroma of the food was lingering in the air.

Advait entered the dining room, his phone was pressed against his ear and jaw was set in a stoic manner.

He settled down on his chair when Arush launched himself on him.

"Good morning, bhaiya." He chirped up.

Advait smiled, ruffling his hair. He was speaking business on the call, his tone was professional. He started serving himself with his one hand. He hung up the call after talking for a few minutes and glanced at everyone.

"Sia thoda araam se khao, itni jaldi kya hai?" Shreya said, looking at her speed.

"Hospital ke liye late ho raha hai, bhabhi." Sia replied while shoving a spoonful of poha in her mouth.

"Mai drop kar dunga, late nahi hoga. Aaraam se khao." Abhishek spoke up in a soft tone.

"Kyun tum kya helicopter se uda kar le jaoge jo late nahi hoga?" She asked, chewing on her food.

Abhishek narrowed his eyes, "Tumhari to help hi karna bekar hai, chali jana khud hi." He replied with a scoff.

Shreya shook her head at their childish banter, "Tum dono bhi kya bacchon jaise kahin bhi ladna shuru ho jate ho." She chided both of them.

Shreya's eyes landed on Aditya who was unusually silent, "Aaj tujhe college nahi jana?" She asked when she noticed, he was still in his Pjs.

Advait looked up to glance at Aditya who shook his head in response, "Kyun?" Shreya asked.

"Mai college jaa kar bas ladai karta hoon islie." Aditya mumbled, trying to sound angry but ended up looking cute.

Everyone looked at Advait but he kept his gaze on Aditya, "Ready ho aur college jaa." Advait told him.

"Aapne hi to mana kiya tha." Aditya replied, not looking at him.

"To ab mai hi bol raha hoon na college jane ke liye." Advait said in a firm voice.

"Mujhe nahi jana." Aditya muttered in response.

"Mai puch nahi raha hoon, Adi. Bata raha hoon ki tu college jayega." Advait said sternly.

Aditya directly looked at him, "Maine bhi keh diya bhaiya, mujhe nahi jana college." He replied firmly.

"Aur attendance ka kya, 75% attendance nahi hogi to exam nahi denge denge college wale." Shreya spoke up.

Aditya turned his attention on her, "Mai fine submit kar dunga, bhabhi." He replied.

Arush's eyes twinkled, "Bhai, mera bhi fine bhar dena please. Mujhe bhi college nahi jana." He requested.

Aditya turned to glare at him, "Apna bag utha aur college jaa." He stated, glaring at his soul.

Arush quickly stood up and hugged Advait, "Bye, bhaiya." He mumbled with a pout and waved his hand at everyone before leaving the room.

Sia also stood up from her chair, "Bye bye, mujhe bohot late ho raha hai." She said while shoving the last bite in her mouth.

"Mai bhi office jaa raha hoon, tumhe drop kar dunga." Abhishek said, getting up from his seat.

They made their ways out of the room. Now only Aditya, Advait and Shreya were left in the room. The room was filled with the heavy silence and only the soft clink of the crockeries were echoing in the room.

"Adi...

Advait just said this when Aditya got up from his place, "I'm done." He mumbled and walked away from there.

"Naraaz kar diya na bechare bacche ko." Shreya huffed at him.

Advait raised his brow, "Wo aur bechara baccha?" He asked in a incredulous tone.

"Chup rahiye aap aur jaa kar maanaiye mere bacche ko." She ordered.

"Mana lunga shaam ko, abhi mujhe office jana hai." Advait replied and pecked her cheek.

Abhishek was driving the car while whistling and Sia was impatiently sitting on the passenger seat. An irritating frown was settled on her face and Abhishek was oblivious.

"Stop whistling." She snapped in frustration.

Abhishek flinched by her sudden outburst, "Are you on your periods?" He joked, noticing her mood swings.

"How do you know?" She asked in shock.

Abhishek passed her a side eye, "Maine to joke maara tha, yaar." He replied.

"Joke maarna band karo aur jaldi gaadi chalao, mujhe late ho raha hai." She said.

"Badi jaldi ho rahi hai hospital pohochne ki?" He said, briefly glancing at her, "Ya phir kisi se milne ki jaldi hai?" He asked.

"Hmm." She only hummed in response.

"What hmm?" Abhishek asked, "Jawab do." He said.

"I'm not answerable to you." She said with a roll of her eyes.

Abhishek's jaw clenched at her reply and he didn't ask anything further. The silence was filled inside the car and no one had talked after that. Soon, Abhishek pulled the car in front of the hospital and glanced at her.

"Bye!" Sia said, pulling her bag over her shoulder.

Abhishek's eyes softened a bit, he gently cupped her cheeks and leaned forward before gently pressing his lips on her forehead, "Bye and stay away from him." He murmured in a soft voice but there was an edge in his tone.

Sia's breath hitched in her throat at the cold sensation of his lips on her warm skin. Her face flushed and she quickly stepped out of the car to hide her blush. Abhishek waited for her to enter inside the hospital before driving off the car from there.

In Malhotra Mansion, Aditya was sitting in his room, the books were scattered in front of him on the table.

His focus was entirely on the words of the book.

He was looking like an epitome of innocence and obedience.

He was silently studying when his phone started ringing.

He looked at the caller I'd before picking up the call.

"Hi, Vanu!" He said.

"Kahan par hai tu?" Vanya asked from the other side.

"Ghar hoon." He replied.

"Haan to jaldi mere ghar aa jaa. Mujhe tujhse milna hai." She ordered.

Aditya glanced at the books before saying, "Mai abhi padh raha tha, shaam ko milte haina." He said.

"Mujhe abhi milna hai." She stated, "Teri wajah se mai aaj college nahi gayi aur tu mere liye padhai chord kar bhi nahi aa sakta?" She asked with a pout.

"Aisa nahi hai, Vanu. Shaam ko milte haina please." He said with hesitation.

"Theek hai phir shaam ko bhi mat milna, tu padh le araam se." She said and was about to hung up the call when Aditya spoke up, "Naraaz kyun ho rahi hai? Mai aa raha hoon." He replied making her smile.

Aditya closed the book and hung up the call before heading out of his room. He went to Shreya's room and there she was sitting on the couch, reading a book. He knocked on the door and entered the room.

"Bhabhi, mai Vanu ke ghar jaa raha hoon." He informed her.

Shreya smiled, "Theek hai, baccha." She replied.

Aditya awkwardly looked around in the room as if he was finding someone. Shreya noticed his moving gaze and spoke up, "Office gaye hain."

Aditya nodded before walking out of the room.

He made his way outside the mansion and sit down in the car.

Khurana residence was five minutes away from their house but he was taking car because he had some other plan.

He started the car and went to a flower shop.

He bought a bouquet of red roses before quickly going to the Khurana residence.

He entered the mansion and there Tia was sitting on the couch with Simran. Aditya made his way towards them and bent down to touch Simran's feet, "Namaste, aunty." He greeted.

Simran looked up happily, "Kaise ho, beta?" She asked politely.

"Theek hoon, aap kaise hain?" He asked in a manner and Simran replied the same.

Simran stood up from here, "Mai Vani ko bulati hoon." She said and walked away from there.

"Hi, bhabhi." He greeted Tia and bent down a little to wave his hand in front of her belly, "Hi, little baby." He said in a rarely soft voice.

Tia looked down at her tummy and caressed it lovingly, "Baby, say hello to your fufa ji." She said teasingly.

A red hue rose up on his neck and he waved it off saying, "Fufa ji sounds so uncool, bhabhi."

"Mere liye to koi cool, dashing sa naam hona chahiye, jo meri personality ko suit kare." He said, raising his collars proudly.

"Gadha kaisa rahega?" Reyansh asked, emerging from the hallway.

Aditya rolled his eyes, "Aapke liye nahi select karna hai, bhai. Mere liye karna hai." He replied with sass earning himself a glare.

Vanya came running downstairs and smiled looking at Aditya when Reyansh's gaze fell on the flower bouquet in Aditya's hand, "Why flowers? What's the occasion?" He asked.

Vanya grinned widely before taking the bouquet from his hands but Reyansh gritted his teeth in annoyance, "Padhai par dhyan de apni." He said.

"You're just jealous of me, bhai." Aditya replied with a roll of his eyes.

"Jealous? Wo bhi tujhse?" Reyansh asked making weird faces.

"Of course." Aditya shrugged, "Aap bhabhi ko flowers nahi dete aur mai Vanu ko flowers de raha hoon islie aap mujhse jealous ho rahe hain." He said in a teasing voice to ignite a fire.

"Bilkul sahi kaha tune, Adi." Tia agreed.

Reyansh's jaw hung down, "Mai tumhe flowers nahi deta?" He asked to Tia.

"Dete ho par sirf occasions par. Kabhi randomly flowers de kar surprise nahi karte ho." Tia complained, "Seekho bacche se kuch seekho." She said with a huff.

"Mai ab isse seekhunga?" Reyansh asked in an incredulous tone.

Aditya placed his hand on his shoulder, "Koi baat nahi, bhai. Seekhne ki koi umar thodi na hoti hai." He said, sounding serious.

"Hatt!" Reyansh jerked off his hand from his shoulder, "Mujhe tujhse romance seekhne ki jarurat nahi hai. Ye jo baccha haina ye mere romantic hone ka proof hai." He said, pointed at Tia's tummy.

"Ab mai kuch bolunga to vivaad ho jayega." Aditya muttered under his breath.

"Kya bola?" Reyansh asked, narrowing his eyes.

"Kuch nahi." Aditya shrugged innocently.

Vanya grabbed Aditya's hand, "Chal hum room me chalte hain." She said.

Reyansh quickly untangled their fingers from each other's hand before asking, "Room me kyun?" He asked with protectiveness.

"Mai aapse jyada romantic hoon iss baat ka proof dene ke liye." Aditya again mumbled under his breath.

Reyansh whacked his head, "Ye tu kya baar baar mann me gunguna raha hai?" He asked.

"Gaana gaa raha tha." He replied with a tight lipped smile.

Reyansh glared at him before turning towards Vanya, "Yaheen baith kar baatein karo tum dono, room me nahi jana." He said.

"Bhabhiiiii!" Vanya whined, looking at Tia.

Tia looked at Reyansh, "Ansh, ye kaise behave kar rahe ho tum? Jaane do unhe room me." She said.

Reyansh reluctantly nodded his head and Vanya hugged Tia, "Thankyou, bhabhi." She squealed.

Tia whispered in her ear, "Have fun." Vanya pulled back to look at her face and Tia winked at her, "Handle bhai." Vanya whispered back before dragging Aditya with herself from there.

Tia turned towards Reyansh and crossed her arms over her chest, "Aur tum to mujhse baat mat karna ab." She said and stomped away from there, "Babyyy!" Reyansh sang, running behind her.

Aditya and Vanya made their way upstairs to Vanya's room.

She pushed open the door and dragged Aditya inside before closing it with a thud.

As soon as they entered the room, she stood up on her tippy toes and grabbed him down by his collar before pressing her lips against his.

Aditya caught off guard, he just rested his hand on the back of her head and the other hand on her waist, letting her do whatever she wanted.

She pressed him against the wall and switched the places, taking a round gluing their lips together.

Aditya poked his tongue on her lip demanding for an entrance and she slightly opened her mouth, understanding the silent demand.

Aditya entered his tongue in her mouth, roaming his tongue everywhere and savouring her taste.

Vanya rolled her eyes, her breathing was heavy.

Aditya pulled back slowly when he noticed she was getting out of breathe.

They rested their heads against each other, panting heavily.

"What was that?" Aditya asked, gathering his breathing.

Vanya pecked his lips, "I was missing you." She breathed out.

"I missed you too, sweetheart." He mumbled, tucking a hair strand behind her ear.

"Jhooth." She said, stepping back and crossing her arms over her chest, "Tere liye to padhai jyada important haina."

Aditya grabbed her wrist before pulling her against his chest, "Nothing is more important than you, Vanu." He said.

Vanya smiled and grabbed him by his collar before pushing him on the bed.

Aditya fell down on the bed and she sat down on his waist, her each leg on his sides.

She leaned forward and again kissed him passionately.

Aditya grabbed the nape of her neck, deepening the kiss.

He protectively secured her in his arms and flopped her down beneath him not breaking the kiss.

Now she was beneath him and he was above her, they broke the kiss and he ducked her head in her neck, inhaling her scent.

He kissed at her sweet spot and a moan escaped off her lips.

He started slowly nibbling at her skin to leave his mark.

Vanya's hands were roaming on his back, they both were lost in the pleasure.

Aditya's hand flowed down to her thigh before squeezing it not so gently.

He was about to slid down the fabric of her top from her shoulder when he stopped himself.

"Don't stop." Vanya breathed out.

Aditya rested his head against her shoulder for a minute before getting up from her. He fixed her clothes and stood up on the floor. He was about to cross the line when he remembered Advait's words and stopped himself. Vanya got up with an irritated expressions.

"Kya hua?" She asked.

"Nothing." He said, caressing her hair to fix them.

"Then why did you stop?" She asked in frustration.

Aditya glanced down before cupping her cheeks, "Because it's not right, Vanu. We should not cross the line." He said.

"What line? Kisne banayi ye line? Hum dono ka relationship haina, to ye line hum decide karenge." She told him, "Mujhe koi problem nahi hai, tumhe koi problem nahi hai. We're adults and we can take decisions for us." She said.

"I know...." He murmured, his hands were still on her face, "We're adults and we should choose wisely for us." He caressed her cheek.

"Don't make me mad, Adi." She said sharply.

"Vanu, we're not married and there are some boundaries which we should not cross before our marriage." He explained to her.

"Who told you that?" Vanya asked, looking him into his eyes.

"Nobody." Aditya said as he didn't want to take any name, "But it's right only."

"Bhaiya told you this?" She asked, reading his eyes.

Aditya looked away at that.

"Tum iss cheez me bhi bhaiya ki sunoge? Ab bhaiya decide karenge ki hum sex kab karenge?" She asked incredulously.

"Vanu, enough." Aditya said firmly, "Mai jo keh raha hoon, bilkul sahi keh raha hoon. Humein shaadi se pehle physical nahi hona chahiye, ye sahi nahi hai." He tried to make her understand.

"Konsi century me reh rahe ho tum?" She snapped at him, "Aaj kal ye sab normal hai, Adi."

"Tere liye normal hoga, mere liye nahi hai." He replied.

"Theek hai." She shrugged, "To mai bhi doondh lungi koi jiske liye ye sab normal ho." She said not realizing the impact of her words and breaking Aditya's heart.

Aditya snapped his head at her, "Kya kuch bhi bol rahi hai tu? Dimaag kharab ho gaya hai tera?" He raised his voice, a fear and hurt clawed at his chest.

"Haan, dimaag kharab ho gaya hai mera. Mujhse baat karne ki jarurat nahi hai, mujhe jo sahi lagega mai wo karungi. Tu jaa yahan se." She said and walked ahead to open the door for him.

Aditya kept looking at her, clenching his fists to gulp down the ache in his heart which was caused by her words. The only thought of someone else touching his love was unbearable to him. He strode away from there in anger without looking back.

The room was silent, the lights were dim and only the light of the projector was flickering in the room.

The men dressed in the classy suits were sitting on their chairs in the boardroom.

Advait's focus was on the projector and a man was standing beside the projector describing the details about the project.

But Abhishek was only physically presented there, his mind was somewhere else.

He was looking particularly at no one, his gaze was fixed somewhere at the corner of the room.

He was thinking about Sia, he had sent chocolates and flowers for her as she was on her periods but his mind was drifted back to her thoughts, he was feeling jealous of Raghav being close to his wife.

"Sir!" Abhishek's assistant spoke up but he was lost in his thoughts.

"Sir." His assistant waved her hand in front of his face dragging him out of his thoughts.

He snapped back to the reality, "What?" He asked to her.

"Boss is calling you." She told him and Abhishek looked at his other side to find Advait was already looking at him sharply.

Abhishek sat up straight, "I was focused, bhaiya." He mumbled in his defense.

"What do you think about his idea?" Advait asked in a low voice that only he could hear.

Abhishek nervously looked around before saying, "Stupid idea. Ye company ke shares badhane ka nahi doobane ka idea lag raha hai." He said and laughed at his own joke.

Advait pierced his gaze in Abhishek's poor soul as anyone who was paying attention would know that the idea of the employee was really beneficial for their company and Abhishek was saying opposite, "Meet me in my cabin." Advait ordered making Abhishek gulp and fixed back his gaze on the projector.
