25. Casper #3
“I’m coming down from the adrenaline and every amazing thing that just happened. There’s a chance I’ll be sleeping before you buckle your seat belt in the car.” The silliest, sweetest giggle vibrates out of her, and my stomach flutters.
She, in fact, fell asleep almost immediately in the car, which makes my next surprise even more exciting when I pull into the garage outside of our home for the weekend—a little staycation if you will.
I want her to get a good feel for it because when the weekend’s up, I plan on asking her how much she loves it, and if she loves it as much as I do, it’s ours.
I convinced the owners with a hefty nightly fee to let us “try it out” for a few days.
But there was no way in hell I was buying a house for Mona and me without getting her opinion.
But we’ll see if I can last the entire weekend without spoiling it … I have my doubts.
Not only about that, but also the tattoo gun I just ordered on .
It’ll be here next week, and before the week ends, I’ll have her name on my chest forever.
I can hear her reservations about not having experience, but then I’ll explain how I couldn’t care less if it’s legible.
I just want it done by her hand as I struggle to not stare into her pretty eyes the entire time.
Who am I kidding? I’ll be staring unabashedly.
Uncertainty and nerves wake her up quickly as she flies up in the seat. “Where are we?”
I kill the engine, unable to contain my smile. “Our home away from home. I got it for a few days for us.”
“What about—”
“Your emotional support spider? She’s already inside,” I assure her, getting out of the car and walking around to her side, taking her hand in mine.
Awe finds her features as we wander toward the front door, and after I unlock it, her amazement only multiplies.
“This place is insane.”
I slip away into the kitchen to make a bag of popcorn while she wanders around, taking it all in. I track her down after the big bowl is full of buttery, salty goodness.
“There you are.” I find her in the bedroom en suite, a wet rag in her hand. “Kind of rude. You didn’t ask me if you could wipe that up.”
Her eyes fall to half-mast, and she doesn’t miss the opportunity to flip me off before cleaning herself up. I set the popcorn on the dresser beneath the seventy-inch TV before walking in the bathroom and snatching the towel from her.
“At least let me help. I like taking care of you.”
Her lips part to say something smart, but she stops herself and instead murmurs, “Thank you.”
I nod, dropping to my knees, and quickly clean the cum from her legs. I’ll have to give her a reward for being extraordinarily good and letting my mark stay on her this whole time.
Once she’s cum-free, I toss the rag on the floor and grab her tights, helping her out of the shredded lace and soaking wet panties.
“I packed an extra. I figured these wouldn’t be too wearable when we were done.”
“So thoughtful,” she coos as I stride out of the bathroom and retrieve a silky pair from the dresser. She slips them on, and we snuggle into bed, lights off, popcorn on, and Scream starting up on the screen.
My phone goes off a few times, and Mona grabs it while I stuff my face, entering the password I told her God knows how long ago.
“It’s in a group chat called Code of Sinners. From Ledger.”
Shit, that’s confidential, but she doesn’t count, right? We’re basically an extension of one another.
“It says: Craft night soon? I might need an intervention.” She giggles. “I love that you guys call it craft night.”
Oh God, what the hell has he gotten himself into?
“Thank you. I’m pretty sure it was my idea. Maybe Bates’s.”
She eyes me like she has no faith in my club-naming abilities.
“Don’t respond. I’ll answer him later. Right now, I’m watching a movie with you.”
At some point, my arm finds its way around her shoulders, and she cradles herself against my body. In the background, Sidney is talking with Tatum by the lockers.
She’s seen this movie an ungodly number of times, but she’s still commenting about it as if it were the first time.
I love her remarks, but I’ll have to put a muzzle on her to take her to a movie in a theater or buy it out, likely the latter.
Although the former could have potential for other reasons.
Mona chomps on her popcorn, completely locked on the film while I can barely focus on anything but her. The way she’s completely relaxed in my arms, at total peace, hell, that’s the most beautiful image I’ve ever seen.
“Sidney’s a good final girl. Strong. Brave. Family members dropping off. No siblings. Anxiety and living with a constant fear of who she can actually trust. Oh my God.” She pauses, her head snapping up, her green eyes locking on to mine. “Am I the final girl?”
“Correction.” Brushing her hair out of her face, I can’t help but grin like an idiot as my heart does backflips in my chest. I tip her head back so I can easily claim her lips with mine, my words a promise between us. “You’re my final girl.”
