Epilogue Two

Four months later

Sebastian

I’m sitting at the dinner table, together with my own family, as well as the Hastings.

I guess we’re all kind of a family now. We’ve always been a family, but now, it’s legal as I look down at the rings on Lily’s hand.

I grab her hand in mine, running my fingers gently across hers as she smiles at me.

Mrs. Bennet.

I couldn’t wait long enough to have that settled, and we had a small, intimate wedding with our close family.

It was the perfect day for my perfect girl and the start of our forever.

We’re planning a bigger ceremony next year, where we’ll have a big party and celebration.

We didn’t want to wait years to get married, but we also didn’t want to rush the planning, so we decided to have two weddings.

As I gaze over the rings, I catch Lily looking at me again.

We sat at this same table, around a-year-and-a-half ago when I first volunteered for her to do her project on me.

Little did I know, we’d be sitting here, married and happier than I’ve ever been before.

“Mine.” I mouth at her, which makes her smile.

“Yours.”
