12. Nicole
NICOLE
My cheeks heat, and I sit up in the bed to glare at him. “Are you asking if I’ve had sex before or if I’ve ever had an orgasm with a man before? Is my inexperience that obvious?”
Guy puts his hand on my shoulder. “I’m just trying to take care of you, Nicole.”
I huff out a breath and fall back against the pillow, staring at the ceiling.
I’m embarrassed, but I also know he isn’t trying to make me feel that way.
If anything, he looks concerned. “I had sex one time my senior year of high school, but it wasn’t memorable at all.
” I turn my head to look at him. “And until tonight, a man has never given me an orgasm.”
Guy blows out a slow breath. His jaw tightens, and for a second, he looks like he’s trying to get himself under control.
I shake my head. “So help me, Guy Brody, if you tell me we can’t do this…”
He squeezes my arm and then lets go. “No, I’m not saying that at all. I want you too much.”
I prop my head on my hand. “Your turn. Are we going to talk about your sexual history now?”
He cups my face, and the way he looks at me makes my stomach flip.
“I have a feeling that after tonight, I won’t be able to remember one woman before you.”
I roll my eyes even though my chest warms. “You’re smooth, Brody.”
He rolls away from me and reaches down for his jeans on the floor. When he pulls a condom from his wallet, I look from the little square package to his face. “I would think you’d have a box of those in your nightstand.”
I hate the insecurity that creeps into my voice. Guy must hear it because he immediately moves over me, bracing himself above me.
“You’re the first woman I’ve brought to my house.”
My eyebrows shoot up. There’s no way. Guy Brody has been photographed with some of the most beautiful women in the world and he’s telling me none of them have been here?
I reach for the condom in his hand. “Can I help you with that? I want to touch you, Guy.”
His fingers tighten around the wrapper. “And I want you to touch me, but not right now. I’ll come in your hand, and I want to be inside you when that happens.”
My entire body heats. He doesn’t give me time to respond before tearing open the wrapper. I watch him roll the condom over himself, and my eyes widen. There is absolutely no hiding my reaction. He’s big, and I’m not exactly sure how he’s going to fit.
Guy settles between my thighs but keeps his weight off me. “Tell me if you need me to stop.”
“I will.”
He kisses me as he guides himself to my entrance. The first stretch has my whole body tensing, and he stops immediately. “Are you okay?”
I nod.
He doesn’t move. “Use your words.”
“Yes. I’m okay. Just go slow.”
His voice is strained. “I’ve got you.”
He moves slowly, watching my face the whole time. My fingers grip his arms, and every time I tense, he stops and waits for me.
By the time he’s completely inside me, my eyes are squeezed shut, and I’m trying to breathe through the overwhelming fullness.
“Nicole?”
I open my eyes. “I’m okay.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.” I slide my hands up his back. “You feel good.”
His eyes close, and he rests his forehead against mine. “You feel perfect.”
He starts to move, slowly at first like he’s afraid of hurting me. Every movement is controlled, and he keeps looking at my face. “Still okay?”
“Yes.”
“Tell me if you need anything.”
“I need you to stop asking.”
His mouth lifts slightly.
I wrap my legs around him and pull him closer, and something changes in his expression.
His eyes darken as he looks down at me. Then he kisses me.
There’s something about the kiss that feels different.
Like he’s trying to tell me something without actually saying the words.
My body starts moving with his, and every slow stroke sends pleasure through me.
I cling to his shoulders as the pressure builds again. “Guy.”
“I’m right here.”
He moves a little faster, and I tighten my legs around him.
“Harder,” I whisper.
He gives me what I ask for, but I can tell he’s holding back.
I drag my nails across his shoulders. The pressure inside me grows until I can barely breathe.
Guy slides his hand between us and presses his finger to my swollen clit. “I’m so close. Come with me, honey.”
My whole body tightens, and then the release hits me strong and fast.
I cry out as the orgasm rushes through me, stronger than the first one.
Guy holds me through it until his body tenses above mine.
He buries his face against my neck with a groan, and I hold him tightly as he follows me.
For a few seconds, neither of us moves. My heart is racing, and my whole body is limp.
Guy lifts his head. “Are you okay?”
I give him a tired smile. “Yes.”
He searches my face. “Nothing hurts?”
“No.”
He kisses my forehead before carefully pulling away. As soon as he gets off the bed, I reach for him. “Where are you going?”
“Nowhere.”
He disappears into the bathroom after disposing of the condom. A minute later, he comes back with a warm washcloth. My cheeks instantly turn pink. “Guy, you don’t have to do that.”
“I know.”
Before I can argue, he gently cleans me.
No man has ever done this for me before.
I don’t know what to do with this kind of tenderness.
This is Guy Brody. The man I’ve seen on magazine covers with beautiful women hanging off his arm.
The man everyone assumes sleeps with whoever he wants.
But right now, he’s acting like taking care of me is the most natural thing in the world.
“Too tender?” he asks.
“A little.”
His touch immediately lightens. “Tell me if it hurts.”
“It doesn’t.”
When he’s finished, he tosses the washcloth toward the bathroom and pulls back the covers.
I watch him. “What are you doing?”
He climbs into the bed next to me and pulls me against his chest. “Holding you.”
My heart literally feels like it skips a beat.
My head rests over his heart, and I slide one of my legs between his. His fingers move slowly through my hair. “Do you need water?”
“I’m good right now.”
“Food?”
I laugh softly. “You just fed me.”
“That was hours ago.”
“It was not.”
His arm tightens around me. “I’ll get you whatever you need.”
I go quiet.
“What?” he asks.
“Nothing.”
He looks down at me. “You can tell me anything. What is it?”
I trace my fingertips across his chest, trying to figure out how to explain what I’m thinking. “I don’t know. You’re nothing like I expected.”
His hand stills in my hair. Everything I thought I knew about Guy came from gossip magazines, interviews, social media, and photographs of him with women who look nothing like me. None of it prepared me for this man.
He holds me tighter. “Truth? I don’t feel like the same man when I’m with you. You make me want to be better. You bring out a side of me I didn’t even know was there.”
I lean up and kiss his chest. Guy presses his lips to the top of my head and holds me tighter.
I close my eyes and let myself relax against him. I know we can’t stay here forever. But right now, I really wish we could.
