Chapter 5
James
Veronica was over the moon by the opulence of our suite. It has a living area with huge flat screen TV. It has a kitchen area and an in room jacuzzi. The master bedroom is fit for a king and there is a fully
stocked wet bar.
After a long passionate kiss when we got back to our room, Roni and I soaked in the jacuzzi, sipped on some Brandy and screwed like we just invented hot tub sex. Later, after we dried off, we made love like the intense lovers we have become.
In the morning we had a buffet breakfast down in the buffet dining room down stairs. Sitting near the entrance we can hear all of the casino noises in the main casino just outside the restaurant.
After a big breakfast, we go back to the room to fuck our brains out and to get ready of out 11am show up time for today’s signing event.
I was shocked when the manager of the casino came and knocked on our door. He told me that he would like to set up an event here in the casino for people to bring their books to get them signed.
He told me he could advertise it all week on the local TV stations and radio stations. He told me that it would bring customers to his Casino and he would advance me ten grand to participate. We shook hands and the deal for Friday was all set.

The entire week with Veronica was magic. While I was busy signing books during the signing events, I would glace over at her from time to time and see her staring over at me with such love in her eyes. It made my heart full of love for her.
In the evenings after dinner we would go see the sights in Las Vegas, catch some shows and then return to or suite and make love like we were hopelessly in love. I guess in reality, we have fallen that deeply in love with each other over the years.
I feel as if I am ready to make my decision now. I have not felt love like this with Kira in quite some time. The last two years have been dreadful and left me feeling lost and discarded.
This week with Veronica has shown me how my life could be. How my life should be. At 40 years old I am not too old to start over. And now I know exactly who I want to start over with.
Tomorrow will be our last day here. We will be flying out at 6pm and be home in Seattle by 8:30pm. After a word with Kira, I will be ready to start my new life with Veronica.

I was stunned by the hundreds of people who showed up to have their books signed in a famous casino. Marv the manager was beside himself with happiness when he saw the lines of people who showed up for the event.
The most popular books that were brought to be signed we the two books from the hit movies and the newest story whose movie has just opened in the theaters recently.
Marv was ecstatic that many of the people in the long line ordered drinks while they waited. A good number of people stayed to do some gambling after having their books signed.
Because the event was going so well, we had to cancel our flight for tonight and reschedule for tomorrow. We finally closed shop at 9pm after 12 hours of booking signings with only an hour break at lunch time. Marv was so ecstatic at the success of the event that he doubled my take to 20K.
As soon as we got back to the room, we called the place called Pick Up Stix to order Chinese food to be delivered by room service. We were stunned when the meal arrived with a bottle of Champaign and a note from Marv that the meal was on the house.
Again Roni and I soaked in the jacuzzi then fucked like mating rabbits. Again I marveled at falling asleep with a woman before now was just my literary agent. Now she has stolen my heart.
