Chapter 3 Fifty Rolls

After rolling fifty times in a row, Lin Weiwei was covered in wounds. Her expensive haute couture dress was riddled with holes, wrinkled, stained with blood and dust.

It had only been a little over an hour, and I hadn't watched enough.

The cries downstairs had stopped.

The three family idiots and the nanny were frozen in terror.

The bloodied Lin Weiwei with wounds all over looked like a mutated zombie from a horror series, repeating that plot segment endlessly.

Though they were brainless and dim-witted, they feared this would infect them and make them roll down the stairs too.

The system prompted, "Plot replay fifty-two times. The designated actor has multiple fractures. Do you wish to continue or Save Slot?"

I said, "Can it Save Slot? To store it and continue replay at another time?"

System: "Yes. host can also specify time and times. Total not exceeding 99 times."

I asked, "Can I specify one roll each at morning, noon, and evening meals? Or make her replay anytime?"

System: "All possible."

I said, "Then Save Slot first. Looking at her, she seemed about to die. If she died, it wouldn't be fun."

Revenge had to come step by step to be enjoyable.

System: "Saved Slot. Remaining replay times: forty-six."

Lin Weiwei didn't get up after the fifty-third roll; she seemed to have stopped.

Mom cried until her voice was hoarse, slumped on the sofa.

Dad prayed to gods and Buddha, holding a statue and muttering; the black-hearted capitalist believed in this after doing too many bad things.

"Dad, Mom, Weiwei stopped." Lin Kai reacted first.

He shouted several times before Dad and Mom came to their senses.

The four hugged Lin Weiwei, crying and shouting, "Weiwei! Weiwei! Wake up. Look at Mom/Brother!" They shook and called endlessly. Her injuries were already severe; now she got shaken nearly to death.

From the second floor, I watched their family affection, not wanting to interrupt, but I couldn't watch my little pet get shaken to death by them. "By the way, could any of you have a conscience and call an ambulance for her? She looked like she wouldn't last."

Their wits were so low they lacked basic common sense.

Lin Kai fumbled to call the ambulance. Mom still cried, calling "Weiwei, Weiwei, don't scare Mom."

"Do you have a first-aid kit at home? Give her simple treatment first. Don't let her bleed out before the ambulance arrives." I couldn't help but remind again.

The nanny hurried to find the first-aid kit in panic.

After hearing me, Lin Kai didn't think to help; instead, he turned domineering in a second. "Chen Wan! How vicious you are, daring to curse Weiwei. Let me tell you, I only recognize this one sister. You're nothing. If anything happens to Weiwei, you'll bury with her!"

It made me laugh in anger. He didn't save her but scolded me. Idiotic domineering CEO, terrifying indeed.

"Ah, yes, yes, bury with her, the whole family bury with her."

The long-delayed ambulance finally arrived.

The medical staff gave her simple treatment and lifted her onto the stretcher into the ambulance.

"Family! One family member come along."

Lin Kai stepped forward bravely: "Me! I'm the brother. I'll go."

The ambulance couldn't fit so many. Dad signaled the nanny to go with, while he and Mom had the driver follow in the car.

I walked down leisurely, hailed a ride-hailing car, and followed behind them.

Wherever they went, I went too. I couldn't miss any chance to mess with them.
