Chapter Twelve.
Nun
I was beyond tired when I got back. Blue refused to leave Kiki and had stayed the night at the hospital. I couldn’t blame him. Belladonna had agreed to let them arrive early while we cleaned up the messes we’d left behind. Now I had to deal with Priest.
This would be an uncomfortable conversation.
Brielle was skittering around the clubhouse. Priest had taken her shopping for clothes, and the kid was buzzing. I didn’t know how Brielle had managed it, trekking across state after state, but she’d been able to maintain her innocence and sweetness. I caught Priest’s eye and jerked my head.
He nodded, settled Brielle down with a tablet, and followed me outside. He wore jeans and a tee today with his cut.
“What’s your plan?” I asked when he joined me.
“For?”
“Well, you and Brielle can’t stay in that apartment forever.”
“This is you kicking us out?” Priest queried, amused.
“No. Tell me your plans.”
“That depends on you.” Priest reached out and grabbed me. “While I submit to you, I’m a switch.”
“Okay.”
“Could you handle submitting to me occasionally?”
“Yes, I’m a switch too, although Blue is a sub.” Then I asserted, “I love him.”
Priest searched my eyes, his face becoming expressionless. He stepped back. “You mean that.”
“Yep, but I love you too.” I wanted to squirm and run away. I’d never been one for a polyamorous relationship. Yet, here I was.
“What do you want?” Priest asked cautiously.
“Both of you,” I replied honestly.
“I’m not bisexual,” Priest said, and I laughed.
“Neither is Blue. I need you both, and it’s perfectly fine if you don’t want each other.”
“Nun, I’m taking on Brielle. I know she thinks you’re the bee’s knees, but I’m unsure about exposing her to that type of relationship.”
Hurt lashed through me, but I hid it. “I understand. I’m going to ask you to leave and head back to Camden. There is nothing for you here.”
Priest reared back. If he expected me to break up with Blue and pick him, he was wrong. Blue had accepted I loved them both and hadn’t made demands. That didn’t mean that Blue was weak or a pushover. No, it meant he’d bend to make me happy.
“I understand,” Priest replied stiffly. “Can you give us a day to get our things together?”
“Sure. Take all the time you want. I’m heading out with Blue and his aunt.” Turning away, I began walking back inside. I paused on the threshold. “Thank you for the memories. I’ll always cherish them. Goodbye, Priest.” With that, I headed indoors to pack.
Priest – a week later.
I’d made a mistake. It had been seven days since I’d last spoken to Nun, and it was killing me.
I’d returned to the RBMC, and Warden had given Brielle and me a guest house.
I’d tried to keep busy, taking Brielle shopping, sorting out her registration for school and other stuff, but I felt empty.
Brielle kept sending me worried looks. She sensed something was wrong.
“Stop moping, you’re getting on my nerves,” Undertaker said, coming and sitting with me.
“Thanks, asshole,” I responded.
“Seriously, Priest, you’re beyond annoying. If you love Nun, and you do—I can feel it—what’s the issue? She didn’t love you back?”
“No, she does. It’s that she’s also in love with Blue.”
“And?”
“What do you mean, and…?”
“I don’t get the problem,” Undertaker replied.
“Well, Blue and I aren’t bisexual, and I don’t want to share my woman with another guy.”
“So you’re going to be miserable instead. You wanted her to choose you, and she didn’t.”
“Was that too much to ask?”
“Yes. I’ve known Nun a long time. She’s not treated Blue as a member of the stable for four years. Her entire club hasn’t touched him because of that. They all recognised he was hers. Then you come along and expect her to throw their history away for a guy she’s known for weeks?”
“Well, putting it like that, I’m the asshole.”
“Priest, Nun rode into danger alone to save Brielle. That’s her showing love.
Nun didn’t hesitate. She had a shit life; you’re fully aware she did.
She offers you something special, and you don’t even bother to discuss it?
That’s beyond being an asshole. Did you actually attempt to figure out a solution to make it work?
Or did you go, nope, I’m not bisexual. See ya around? ”
“Fuck,” I groaned as I looked at it from his point of view.
“You didn’t even discuss it with Brielle and get her opinion. She’s nearly sixteen. I can damn-fuckin’-guarantee she’s more sexually aware than you are.”
“Shut up! She’s my innocent girl,” I hissed.
Undertaker laughed. “Yeah, keep telling yourself that.”
I scowled, and then Brielle appeared. “We need to talk.”
“How long have you been listening?” I demanded.
“Long enough. I know what a triad is, Ethan,” Brielle said.
While I spluttered, Undertaker turned to Brielle and frowned. “Don’t you mean a throuple?”
“No, if Ethan and Blue aren’t screwing each other, it’s more of a triad situation.”
Undertaker made a seesaw motion with his hand before nodding. “You might have something there. Okay, kid, while Priest remembers how to breathe, I’ll let you school him in what a teenager knows.”
Brielle grinned as Undertaker ruffled her hair and walked away.
“You—”
“Shut up,” Brielle ordered. “Why are you being so stupid? Do you love Nun?”
“That’s none of your—”
“Ethan. Stop the crap. Do you love Nun?”
“Yes…” I sighed.
“Good, she’s badass, and if I need a stand-in mom, she’s it. Nun came for me, a girl she didn’t know, and saved me. She rode into a hail of bullets, and I’m not being dramatic, and kicked ass and took names. You’re stupid to let her go,” Brielle stated.
“Brielle, you are at a delicate age—”
Brielle huffed and cut me off again. “Stop making excuses. Blue’s a nice guy, really kind, and he loves Nun. Which means Nun is seriously badass to have two good men adore her. Yeah, it will be weird at first, but we can adjust. What is sad is rejecting love when it’s offered to you.”
With that, Brielle slapped me in the face with the harsh truth.
“I was worried about how it could affect you,” I admitted. “And how others might perceive you and treat you differently.”
“You believe they don’t when they hear Mom and Dad are dead?
Ethan, there’s a generation between us, but who’s the adult here?
Throwing away Nun because of other people’s opinions?
Well, fuck them. Who are they? Nobody! They’re just judgmental fools, and who needs them?
It’s almost as if you’ve become a coward. ”
“Don’t hold back,” I teased, and Brielle shrugged.
“Are we going to get Nun, sit down, and sort this out, or are you planning to keep moping for another week?”
“You say Nun is a kickass woman? So are you, baby cuz,” I whispered and hugged her. It felt like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders.
“Let’s go find her and Blue,” I said. There had to be a way to resolve this so everyone got what they desired.
God’s Reclaimer.
I ground my teeth as I watched Margaret in her short skirt waltz through the grounds of the resort.
She’d arrived here a week ago with that male whore and two older women.
One of whom was the whore’s aunt. Margaret had come with them, and they were staying in the most expensive suite.
She’d certainly changed from the woman who revelled in God’s light to a materialistic bitch.
Margaret had become far worse than most of the sinners around us. She’d once known the warm, loving hand of God and had turned her back on him. She deserved to feel the flesh flayed from her body and weep tears of blood for his divine mercy.
In anger, I wanted to tear her wicked eyes and lying tongue from her. As for him—I was aware of what type of perverted things he allowed.
Allowing himself to be sodomised, permitting Margaret to use him for her satisfaction.
Was he unaware that a woman existed solely for a man’s pleasure?
Not her own. That contradicted God’s plan.
Women were for serving a man and child rearing, and this weak, sick bastard went against everything men stood for.
When I took her, I’d take him too. He’d feel the passion of God’s Wrath and would beg for his divine mercy, but it wouldn’t be coming.
God had no use for meek males. Margaret would watch me send this coward, this abomination, to hell.
That would return her to the path, but deep down, I knew it was too late.
The Devil owned her soul, and there would be no turning back for her.
Margaret was damned. She’d need to die for her redemption, but I could get her there.
With God’s hand steering mine, Margaret would shed most of her warped sexual activity.
She’d repent and beg on her knees to me, and I’d rise and smite the darkness from her.
With me, Margaret would cleanse her soul, and even though the Devil had a grip on her, I could end it.
Margaret would see genuine power, understand what I was capable of; she’d fall at my feet, begging me to lead the way.
And because I was so magnanimous, I’d help.
One bloodied step at a time, wickedness dripping from her fingers, perhaps Margaret might earn her wings after all!
She’d demand my adoration because through me, she’d get God’s love.
And I’d be the true master, showing her the way.
Margaret would forever be mine.
I smiled as my body shook with God’s rapture and his seed spilt from me. Margaret would be beautiful, clean, and pure once more. I’d handle it.
Nun
I saw the A4 envelope slide under the door, and my spine tingled in warning. Shit. I grabbed a tissue off the side and picked it up.
“What is it?” Blue asked, approaching and kissing my shoulder.
“I think it’s from that… stalker?” Could I call him that? I’d received two things from him, so did that class him as one? Or was he a fan?
