Epilogue.

I put the phone down.

Wylde had been keeping me updated on the case. Benjamin refused to plead guilty and was forcing a trial. Fine. Nun would bury that fat fuck. He wanted his day in court, and he’d get it. Benjamin would pay for it in the end.

I tapped the desk in front of me and stared at my last text. Four weeks ago, Outlaw from the Bloody Femmes was murdered. The Femmes were searching for the perpetrator and, so far, had no luck. There was now a million-dollar bounty on the unknown’s head.

The hit hadn’t come from me, but I thought I knew who was behind it. With a smirk, I walked to my door and headed for the rec room.

I hovered on the threshold. My sisters were all present and happily chatting.

Vengeance, Rose, and Nun were healing. Nun was placed on Blue’s lap, her fingers curled around his cut and her feet up on Priest’s legs.

Beside Priest, Brielle commanded their attention as she pointed out changes to their house design.

Kiki and Susan sat there trying to be helpful, and I was happy their family had come together. I turned and saw Stitch glowering at Hatton as he stared sternly at her and forced an apple juice in her direction. It was hard to accept Hatton here considering his position.

Cassidy argued with Dagger and Blade as they played poker, although he was laughing at them.

Wylde talked to Sparrow with an intense look on his face as Belladonna joined them. The three of them got animated, and then Wylde caught my eye. Love replaced his intensity, and I smiled.

I walked towards him, my sisters looking up. Some of them, maybe sensing something.

“Marry me,” I said, and the room fell quiet.
