Chapter 14 Beyond Saving
I went back to my parents' home.
I helped my Mom with my younger brother's wedding.
I barely asked about Qin Xiao's side.
Half a month later, Yang Fen called.
"Xiao Rou, hurry back. Qin Xiao is in the hospital being rescued."
I was speechless for a few seconds, then asked calmly,
"Did something get shoved into his butt by accident again?"
Yang Fen said through tears,
"I don't know. In the middle of the night I heard screams from Qin Xiao's room. There was a pool of blood on the bed.
"By the time I ran to his room, Xu Yong was already gone.
"It must have been that slut Xu Yong who hurt my son. Otherwise why did he suddenly run?
"Hurry back. I really don't know what to do."
I let out an "oh," then hung up.
I had thought it was true love.
Looked like this was not reliable either.
That guy Xu Yong ran off by himself after things went wrong.
When I reached the hospital, Qin Xiao was already out of surgery.
He stared blankly at the ceiling, eyes empty.
Director Wang came in, looked at me, shook his head, and sighed.
"Girl, you're still young. Try to look on the bright side."
Yang Fen rushed up, grabbed his collar, and demanded,
"What the hell does that mean?
"Is my son past saving?
"Say it clearly."
Director Wang already looked sick of a shrew like Yang Fen. Qin Xiao had ignored the doctor's orders again and again and messed around.
He simply shook off Yang Fen's hand and said the truth out loud.
"Yes. I'm saying your son is past saving.
"He's clearly a Gay Man, and he still had to waste a girl's time.
"And you, as his Mom, are no good either."
The moment he finished, the nurses beside him all sighed.
Yang Fen shook her head, unable to believe it. Her voice choked as she rushed to explain.
"No. Impossible. How could my son like men?
"My son just got married. He likes his wife so much.
"Why are you slandering my son? What are you after?"
Director Wang took out the exam report and handed it to Yang Fen.
"Your son's anus was torn many times. This time he had sex again right after surgery, and he used some bizarre toys. I'm afraid he'll have to wear an Ostomy Bag for life."
Yang Fen collapsed onto the floor.
She clutched my thigh and said in a shaking voice,
"Xiao Rou, hurry and tell the doctor my son likes women.
"Tell everyone how loving you two are. Tell them how much my son dotes on you."
I kicked her off and laughed coldly.
"I'm still a fucking virgin even now. How much do you think your son can like me?"
At those words, Yang Fen looked utterly hopeless.
She kept pounding the floor and wailed,

"How can I face anyone after this? How is my son supposed to live?"
Qin Xiao lay on the hospital bed and never said a word.
He looked as if his whole soul had been hollowed out.
