Chapter Fifty-Three

Amelia goes out to where everyone is dancing.

I stay off to the side, making sure to watch that she's okay and no one tries to screw around with her.

But I don't realise that I keep grabbing drinks.

It really is easy not to notice how many drinks I've downed.

I can feel the alcohol taking effect. This party is legit just an alcohol-induced orgy waiting to happen.

There aren't even any snacks. I open my purse to check my phone and see it's pushing past one in the morning.

“Elora,” I hear a slurred voice and see Jenna stumbling her way over to me.

“What?” I say, putting my phone away.

“I will never forgive you for what you did to Joel,” she slurs, drink in hand. I just roll my eyes, not entertaining her bullshit while she's drunk. “Why did you do it?”

“Look, it's not my fault Axe thinks it's a crime to reject your mate. Joel did this to himself,” I say.

“You could have stopped it, now that you're fucking the alpha.” She frowns.

“Why do you even care about Joel? You have a mate,” I point out.

“Joel is a good guy. It's not fair that you crawled into the alpha's pants and now have a say in pack stuff. You're not the true luna.” She stumbles to the side but catches herself.

Her words are angering me to no end. I didn't pursue the alpha.

We fell in love. I bet all the pack members think I whored myself out to gain control in the pack.

They can go fuck themselves. Because I don't have power in the pack.

Axe rules all and I'm not stupid enough to go against any of his rules.

That's why I don't want to be luna. I'm not leading a bunch of stupid people who think I'm a whore.

“Back off, Jenna,” I warn.

“No. You need to get Joel out of prison.” She glares at me.

“Maybe you should stop worrying about Joel and focus on your mate before he finds out you're still pining for Joel,” I say.

“Are you threatening me?” Anger flashes across her face and she steps closer to me. We have gained a small audience, a few of the werewolves are looking at us. One of the guys comes over.

“Girls, take this shit somewhere else because if either of you shift, all of us are in shit,” the guy whispers, his eyes bloodshot but his common sense shining through.

“Nothing's happening. She's just being an annoying drunk,” I assure him.

“Fuck you. You took the man I love away,” Jenna grumbles and pushes at my shoulder.

The man she loves? Is she kidding me? She left him.

She has a mate. What the fuck is wrong with everyone?

When Jenna gets too close again, my anger and drunkenness take control of me.

I can't remember who threw the first hit but we end up on the ground, rolling around, both trying to get the upper hand.

She's too hazy to gain control and I'm not really aware of my actions.

When I see her face get bloodied and my fists stained with her blood, I feel someone wrap their arms around my waist. I get dragged off her and pulled out of sight into the front yard where no one is. I get let down and see some guy.

“I already mind linked Jayceon. The alpha is coming to get you,” the guy says.

“Who are you to tell on me?” I wobble on my feet.

“I'm Jayceon's brother. And even though you're the luna and I shouldn't have gotten involved back there, someone had to. We're around humans,” he says firmly.

How is he speaking like he's sober when everyone is drunk? Ugh, I'm getting a headache.

“Whatever,” I mumble, slipping off my heels since one of them is broken. “Where's my phone?” I look around for my purse.

“I'll go find it. Wait here.” Jayceon's brother leaves while I just stare into the dark night.

I look down at my once pretty dress and see it's covered in dirt. It's completely torn from the bottom to my panty line. I try to turn the fabric of the dress to cover my panties but it's too tight to move. Jayceon's brother comes back with my purse.

“Just a little advice, the alpha was untameable. Now he's sane and you just bashed a pack member into oblivion. Don't let his violence rub off on you. I don't think the pack will stand for two violent leaders.”

“I'm not violent. She pushed me first,” I defend myself.

“Still. There's the alpha's car.” He points at the headlights behind me.

I turn to look at the car but I can't see Axe because of the lights. Is he angry? Jayceon's brother walks off.

“Wait,” I call and he turns back. “Can you make sure my friend gets home safely?”

“See, that's the caring type of luna we need. I'll keep an eye on her.” He gives me a small smile, then walks off. The music is still blaring so that fight didn't disrupt the party vibe.

I turn to the car and take a breath before I open the passenger door and get in. Axe is staring at me intently. Seeing him in the dark and in my drunk state makes him look scary.

“Are you okay?” he asks.

I frown, not expecting that to be his first question. Instead of talking and not knowing where the conversation will lead, I climb over the middle section and straddle him. His eyes widen in surprise. When my thighs settle around him, my dress rips even more.

“I'm good.”

I take his lips in mine and hold onto the back of his neck tightly.

I grin against his lips when I feel his hands squeeze my waist, knowing he's going to let me do this instead of fighting.

I'm not sure if he'll yell at me later but right now, I'm turning my thoughts off.

I rub against him feverishly, clawing at his shirt, wanting to feel skin.

I tug on his pants but can't get them off.

He lifts up and slips his pants down. I pull his manhood out of his pants then position myself over him, ripping my panties to the side. I slide down on him, hearing him curse.

This is the first time I've ridden him and I ride him hard.

We are shaking the whole car. My moans are loud and get even louder when he forcefully pushes my hips down harder with each thrust. He growls when I bite his neck along with pulling on his hair.

With my riding and him trying to bring me down even harder on him, we both burst into explosions, our breathing completely erratic.

I lift up and see his wild eyes staring at me.

Instead of saying anything, I get back in the passenger seat. As Axe drives us home, I fall asleep.
