The Write Chemistry

Fifteen years after renowned author Eleanor Ambrose slapped her writing partner and best friend Agnes Quincy in front of a packed Austin crowd, their partnership ended for reasons no one ever learned.

Their children, Huxley Ambrose and Wylie Dixon, have since made names for themselves in the same literary world and have not crossed paths since that nationally televised hair-pulling fight.

Both have recently moved to Savannah and joined the local writers group, where old memories return at once.

Huxley still recalls Wylie as a gangly science-fiction geek who always said the worst thing at the worst time, while Wylie still recalls Huxley as the cool kid who could not stand her.

Their mothers hate each other and they seem to have nothing in common, yet an unexpected chemistry keeps drawing them together.

Huxley and Wylie do not want to be a pair, but they may not have a choice.
